Algeria Press Service reported the restart on September 27 after receiving details from the airline. According to the latest APS announcement, the first Algiers departure is scheduled for 00:55 on Tuesday, September 29.

The initial service is planned for Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at the same departure time. All times are local. A published schedule for flight AH4078 currently shows a 00:55 departure from Algiers and a 09:00 arrival in Doha, with a scheduled duration of 6 hours 5 minutes.

Air Algérie plans to increase the route to daily from October 25. Treat that as the current plan, not proof that every date and time will remain unchanged. The airline's booking, timetable and flight-status tools should be the final check before payment and again before leaving for the airport.

The return timetable was not included in the APS report used for this guide. Do not infer a Doha departure from the Algiers schedule. Confirm the return flight number, local departure time and operating day on the exact booking.

A 00:55 flight starts the night before

Tuesday's 00:55 departure means going to Houari Boumediene Airport on Monday night. The same rule applies to the Friday and Sunday departures: airport arrival belongs to the previous evening.

Air Algérie says international check-in at Algiers opens four hours before departure. For a 00:55 flight, that points to an opening around 20:55 the evening before. The airline's final international check-in limit is 90 minutes before departure, but that is a cutoff, not a sensible target. Document questions, queues and checked baggage can consume the margin quickly.

Check the date printed beside the flight as well as the time. A taxi or pickup booked for early Tuesday rather than late Monday could arrive a full day too late.

Online check-in still ends at the airport counter

Air Algérie's passenger FAQ says online check-in opens 24 hours and closes three hours before scheduled departure. Doha is listed among the supported international destinations.

The online receipt is not a boarding pass. Every passenger still has to collect a boarding pass at the designated airport counter and complete the required document and security checks. Save the booking reference, ticket and confirmation offline, but plan around the airport process rather than the online step alone.

If the ticket or a direct message from the airline gives an earlier reporting time, follow the stricter instruction.

Read the baggage line on the ticket

Air Algérie's baggage guidance allows one cabin bag up to 10 kg on its general fleet, with a lower 5 kg limit for ATR aircraft. That exception does not mean an ATR will operate this route. The live booking or flight status is the place to check the assigned aircraft if it matters to the trip.

Doha entry and onward connections are separate decisions
