How to reach Hiram Bithorn without stadium parking
Use Tren Urbano and the Roosevelt shuttle
San Juan's special plan starts at 10 a.m. on both concert days. The city says attendees can use Tren Urbano stations with parking, ride to Roosevelt station, and board ATI buses to the San Juan Sports Complex. The train and event buses are free under the announced plan and will continue after the concert until attendees have been transported.
Current local guidance lists free parking at Bayamon, Jardines, Torrimar, Martinez Nadal, San Francisco and Cupey stations. Deportivo and Rio Piedras have nearby paid parking options. Availability is not guaranteed. A lot can fill even when it is normally open, so arrive with a second station in mind.
Roosevelt is the transfer point, not the final walk suggested by a normal map. Follow event staff to the ATI buses. The buses are expected to use a managed lane and police escort between the station and complex.
Do not treat Plaza Las Americas as concert parking
Some early reports mentioned nearby parking around Plaza Las Americas. The mall later clarified that its spaces are for customers and employees. Do not build the concert plan around leaving a car there unless the mall publishes a specific event arrangement.
Parking around the Coliseo de Puerto Rico may also attract demand. If using any paid facility, confirm that it permits concert parking, check its closing time, and plan the train leg from Hato Rey to Roosevelt. A space on a map is not permission to park.
Use the designated rideshare area
San Juan has allocated a rideshare drop-off and pickup area on Roosevelt Avenue outside the stadium grounds, near the Estudia Conmigo electronic library. Uber has a designated lane in the announced plan. The SJU airport's official transport page also identifies Uber and Lyft as the current rideshare services operating at the airport.
Save the pickup point before the concert. After the show, walk to the staffed area instead of moving the app pin into a closed or crowded road. Prices and wait times can rise when tens of thousands of people request rides at once.
Arriving through SJU airport
Luis Munoz Marin International Airport is east of central San Juan and is not connected directly to Tren Urbano. The airport lists regulated taxis, Uber, Lyft and public buses from the departure level. Its current bus routes serve Isla Verde, Condado, Old San Juan, the Convention Center and Avenida Pinero, but they do not provide a simple direct concert transfer to Hiram Bithorn.
If landing on concert day, leave a substantial buffer for baggage, city traffic, checking in and reaching the event transport. A delayed flight and an 11:30 a.m. door time do not make an airport-to-stadium sprint sensible.
