BIGBANG Taipei 2026: tickets, transport and National Day crowds

BIGBANG plays Taipei Dome at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 9, Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026. If you can choose a date, October 10 needs the most planning. That concert overlaps with National Day activity, a Taipei 101 fireworks and drone show, and a day-long Pokemon program in Xinyi. The three nights share a venue and start time, but they do not share the same journey home. Taipei City's current event notice lists the BIGBANG concerts from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Treat 9:00 pm as a planning reference, not a guarantee that the performance, encore and crowd exit will finish at that exact minute.

Which BIGBANG Taipei date is easiest for visitors?

Friday, October 9 has the cleanest published event calendar of the three. It is still a major concert night, and another arena event can add pressure elsewhere on the MRT, but the dome is not competing with the October 10 fireworks audience.

Saturday, October 10 is the date to choose for the National Day atmosphere, not for the simplest transport. Taipei City lists the concert, the Taipei 101 show and the Pokemon program as separate major crowd generators. If the fireworks are part of your plan, accept that you may see them from a moving crowd rather than a chosen viewing position. Do not cross toward Taipei 101 after the concert with a flight, last intercity train or fixed pickup close behind.

Sunday, October 11 removes the fireworks overlap but not the Xinyi program. It may be a better fit for visitors who want a weekend show and a more direct return, provided they do not have an early Monday departure.

BIGBANG Taipei tickets: check the channel on your order

The official BIGBANG tour page now lists all three Taipei dates. The initial organizer notice named TicketPlus as the ticket channel, while Klook sold a separate travel package. Klook currently marks its package sold out. That does not prove that every TicketPlus product is sold out, available or transferable.

Use this order of checks:

1. Open the confirmation email or account used for the purchase.
2. Confirm whether the order came from TicketPlus, Klook or another organizer-authorized channel.
3. Read the rules attached to that exact product and date.
4. Match the attendee name, passport number and collection method before booking a flight around the ticket.
5. Check official inventory live. A news report or social post cannot confirm what remains in the cart now.

The sources checked do not promise a Taipei Dome box office allocation. A physical counter at the venue is not evidence that extra concert tickets will be released there. Do not make the journey on the assumption that a sold-out product will have walk-up inventory.

Klook orders have specific real-name and pickup rules

Klook's package included a concert ticket, a 3 GB Asia eSIM valid for seven days, and a choice of attraction or mobility benefits. It is non-refundable and non-cancellable according to the current page.

For an overseas attendee, Klook says the English name and passport number must match the valid passport. Collection requires the physical ticket and matching ID. A booking screenshot or printed booking confirmation is not accepted as the ticket at pickup.

Klook says collection is near the venue from October 7, with the exact details sent by email. It also says the package ticket cannot be collected from the venue box office. Name correction deadlines listed for these products have passed: September 10 for the October 9 show and August 23 for October 10 and 11. Duplicate orders using the same ID can be cancelled.

These are Klook package rules. Do not apply them automatically to a TicketPlus order. TicketPlus buyers should use the terms inside their own order and the organizer's latest notice.

Carry the passport or ID linked to the ticket

Real-name ticketing makes the spelling on the booking part of the entry process. Overseas visitors should check:

• the attendee name is in the format requested by the seller;
• the passport number matches the current physical passport;
• the passport has not been replaced since booking;
• the collection email can be opened offline;
• every member of the group knows which person holds the order and IDs.

If a name or passport detail is wrong, contact the original seller. Do not rely on a resale seller's promise that staff will ignore the mismatch. The current Klook correction deadlines have passed, and the sources checked do not establish a universal transfer right.

Getting to Taipei Dome by MRT

Taipei Dome is at No. 515, Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road. Taipei Tourism places it between Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and Taipei City Hall stations on the blue Bannan line. Both can be useful, but the better station depends on the entrance named in the event instructions and where you are coming from.

Use the station and gate shown on the organizer's final entry map. If that map has not arrived, keep both stations saved rather than assuming one exit will serve every ticket zone. A hotel on the blue line reduces transfers. A hotel elsewhere can still work, but check the last part of the route and platform direction before leaving.

Taipei Dome says event-only free shuttles may run, with schedules varying by event. Its general transport FAQ lists possible destinations from the dome area:

• Songshan Airport, Songshan Station and Taipei 101/WTC from the Guangfu South Road side;
• Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT, Gongguan MRT and Taipei Main Station from the Zhongxiao East Road side.

That list does not confirm that every route will operate after all three BIGBANG shows. Use it only after the concert organizer or dome publishes the date-specific timetable. If no schedule appears, make the MRT your base plan.

Taxis and rideshare need a pickup point

The dome lists taxi ranks on B1 of the office building and B3 of the mall. It also lists a temporary drop-off bay on Guangfu South Road and warns that the red curbs around the venue are not pickup areas.

On October 10, a request placed beside the nearest crowd may take longer than walking to a preselected point outside the event core. Share the exact pin with the group before entering. A hotel name without its Chinese address is a poor fallback when streets are busy.

How to leave Taipei Dome on October 10

The difficult direction is southeast toward Taipei 101 and the busiest part of Xinyi. The city lists fireworks and drones there from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm, while the BIGBANG event window ends at 9:00 pm. The Pokemon program also runs in Xinyi until 10:00 pm.

Choose one of these plans before the show:

Leave west on the blue line

Use Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall or the station assigned in the final event guidance, then travel away from Taipei City Hall if that matches the hotel. This can avoid deliberately entering the fireworks crowd, although platforms and entrances may still be controlled.

Wait before entering the MRT

If there is no fixed connection to catch, stop at a legal, staffed public area outside the immediate exit flow and let the first wave move. Do not wait in an emergency route or beside a road crossing. Check the city's live transport notices before deciding that a delay will help.

Join the fireworks plan intentionally

If Taipei 101 is part of the night, treat it as a second event. Save a viewing area, crowd-control notice and route back from Xinyi. The 9:00 pm start means you may miss the beginning while leaving the dome. Do not push through a controlled route to chase a short view.

Families, visitors with reduced mobility and anyone carrying luggage should avoid a tightly timed cross-district plan that night. The concert, fireworks and other events can alter walking routes even when the MRT itself remains open.

Bags, lockers, cameras and lightsticks

Taipei Dome's general rules prohibit dangerous items, fireworks, lasers, loud devices, animals other than guide dogs, and poles longer than 90 cm except walking and white canes. Those general rules do not settle the concert's bag size, camera, recording, banner or lightstick policy.

Wheelchair access and baby facilities at Taipei Dome

Taipei Dome's general FAQ says wheelchairs are available through staff and that baby rooms and changing facilities are present. Guide dogs are allowed under the venue rules.

Those facts do not confirm the view, route or companion policy attached to a particular concert ticket. Contact the ticket seller or organizer before the event when step-free entry, wheelchair seating, a companion seat, hearing support, medical equipment or a quiet waiting arrangement is essential. Bring the confirmation in a form that can be shown without a network connection.

Taiwan entry checks for overseas concert visitors

Visa-free eligibility depends on nationality, passport validity and trip conditions. Taiwan's Bureau of Consular Affairs maintains the current list and requirements. Check the official page instead of using another fan's nationality as a guide.

Taiwan also requires applicable foreign visitors to complete the online Taiwan Arrival Card within seven days before arrival. Use the official government process and keep a record of completion. Entry permission and concert admission are separate checks; a valid ticket does not change immigration requirements.

For a short concert trip, keep these together offline:

Mobile data for a BIGBANG Taipei trip

Mobile data helps with ticket emails, live MRT notices, map changes, translation and group messages. It should not be the only place where the passport-linked order, hotel address or route home exists. Large crowds can slow any participating network.
