Condor Frankfurt-Athens flights: 2027 route guide
Condor plans to begin a daily nonstop flight between Frankfurt and Athens on April 28, 2027. The airline describes it as a summer route and lists Athens as a daily Frankfurt destination in its summer 2027 timetable.
The launch falls across an unusual airport change. Condor says all its Frankfurt flights will continue using Terminal 1 through April 2027, then move to Terminal 3. Anyone flying in the route's first few days should check the terminal in the booking rather than assuming the new terminal is already in use.

The short answer: Condor plans one flight each day from Frankfurt to Athens from April 28, 2027. Current schedule data lists DE4140 in the afternoon from Frankfurt and DE4141 in the morning from Athens, but exact times remain subject to change. Condor's own notice says Terminal 1 remains in use through April, with Terminal 3 taking over afterward.

Condor's September 23 announcement confirms the route, start date and daily summer frequency. Its summer 2027 timetable, updated September 27, lists Athens as a daily Frankfurt service operated under Condor's DE code from May 1 through October 31.

The airline has also published a Frankfurt to Athens sales page. A route page and future timetable support the announced plan, but neither guarantees that every date or fare remains available.

Condor's announcement does not publish the flight numbers, exact times or aircraft. Treat those three fields as provisional until they appear in the live booking for the travel date. Equipment changes can also alter the seat map without cancelling the flight.
The Athens arrival is early enough for several public transport choices under the current schedule. Athens International Airport lists Metro Line 3, the suburban railway, four OASA bus routes, regional buses and taxis among its ground transport options. Check the live timetable on arrival, especially after a delay.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 at Frankfurt?
Condor's current Frankfurt terminal notice says all Condor flights will continue through Terminal 1 until and including April 2027. It says the carrier will move all arrivals and departures to Terminal 3 afterward and notify affected passengers.
That wording matters because the Athens route starts on April 28. Based on the published notice, an April 28, 29 or 30 departure should not be treated as a Terminal 3 flight. Frankfurt Airport's new Terminal 3 has been operating since April 23, 2026. Its train link connects the long-distance and regional rail stations with Terminal 3 in about eight minutes, stopping at Terminal 2. The lowest displayed price may be Condor's most restrictive fare. Condor's current short and medium-haul rules say Economy Zero includes one small personal item. A larger cabin bag, checked bag, seat selection, changes and cancellation flexibility depend on the fare or an added purchase.
Condor currently lists a maximum 55 by 40 by 23 centimetres and 8 kilograms for a standard cabin bag on these routes. Economy Classic and higher published economy fares include that cabin bag and a checked allowance, while Economy Zero does not include either. The fare attached to the actual Athens booking controls, so open the baggage details before paying rather than relying on a general price card.
If a travel agency issued the ticket, extras may need to be added through that agency. Public traveler questions repeatedly describe confusion when the airline's manage-booking page does not expose a baggage option for a third-party reservation. Resolve that before airport check-in, where added baggage can cost more.
Connections in Frankfurt need a ticket check
Condor says the new city route is intended to connect with its wider long-haul network. The practical protection depends on how the journey is ticketed.
On one through booking, check that Athens appears as the final destination on the bag tag and that boarding passes are issued for each segment. If a delay breaks a protected connection, use Condor's transfer instructions rather than buying a replacement without speaking to the airline.
