The practical answer: Search for ZE535 from Incheon (ICN) to Manado (MDC) and ZE536 for the return. The published schedule leaves Seoul at 20:25 and leaves Manado at 02:20 local time. Confirm both times on the issued ticket because schedules can change.

Eastar Jet's daily Manado schedule

All times are local. Manado is one hour behind Seoul, which explains why the clock times alone do not show the full journey length. The published flights use a Boeing 737-800, but an aircraft type is never guaranteed for an individual departure.

AeroRoutes' schedule record gives the September 19 conversion date, flight numbers and times. Seoul Economic Daily separately reports the daily operation and says the airline announced the scheduled-service change on September 22. What changed from the charter operation

The aircraft route itself is not brand new. Eastar Jet began charter flights between Incheon and Manado in October 2025. Under that arrangement, travel agencies bought the seats and generally sold them through packages.

The airline told Korean media that the charter flights averaged a 93% load factor from May through September 2026. That figure explains the commercial decision; it does not mean a future flight will be full or that the current frequency cannot change.

Use Terminal 1 at Incheon, then verify again

Incheon International Airport currently lists Eastar Jet among the airlines operating from Terminal 1. The airport also lists Eastar Jet for Terminal 1 self-check-in and self bag drop, with service restrictions.

Treat Terminal 1 as the current plan, not a permanent promise. Incheon Airport says the terminal can differ because of airline or codeshare circumstances and tells passengers to confirm it on the e-ticket or flight search. Check again before taking an airport train or arranging a terminal pickup.

Eastar Jet's official airport guide recommends arriving at Incheon three hours before an international departure and says international check-in closes one hour before departure. The issued itinerary and any later airline notice take priority.

Compare the fare after adding baggage

Eastar Jet is a low-cost carrier, so the cheapest displayed fare may not include the bag, seat or flexibility you want. Open the baggage details for the exact fare before paying and keep a copy of the allowance shown on the confirmation.

Public traveler discussions repeatedly ask whether Eastar Jet weighs or measures cabin bags. Do not plan around another passenger's experience. A slightly oversized bag can still be rejected or charged, even if someone else carried a similar one onboard.

Incheon Airport's self bag-drop page says Eastar Jet passengers with connecting flights, excess baggage, special equipment, infants or assistance needs cannot use that automated service. Use the staffed counter when one of those conditions applies.

Prepare for the 01:15 Manado arrival

ZE535 is scheduled to reach Sam Ratulangi International Airport at 01:15. Immigration, baggage delivery and customs will make the landside arrival later, so confirm the hotel or transfer will accept an early-morning check-in or pickup.

Do not assume a ride-hailing car will be waiting immediately or that a resort boat runs overnight. Ask the accommodation for a named pickup point and a fallback phone number. Save the address and confirmation offline before departure.

If Bunaken is the destination, the official Indonesia tourism site describes the crossing from Manado as roughly 40 minutes and notes that public-boat timing is limited. The overnight flight is not a practical connection to an immediate boat departure without a confirmed transfer. A rest stop in Manado may be the safer plan.

Check Indonesia entry rules for your passport

Entry rules depend on nationality, passport and purpose, not on the airline. Indonesia's immigration service currently includes South Korea among the nationalities eligible for Visa on Arrival and e-VOA. Its B1 visitor guidance says the initial stay is up to 30 days and requires a passport valid for at least six months.

That does not make the rule universal. Check the official Indonesian immigration site for the passport you will use, and verify any onward-ticket or supporting-document requirement before departure. A valid airline booking is not permission to enter.
