Blue Renault Riffard Tank 4CV displayed at Époqu'Auto in November 2019

Époqu'Auto takes place at Lyon Eurexpo in Chassieu from November 6 to 8, 2026. This edition adds an outdoor circuit alongside the classic-car and motorcycle displays. Book around the day you want to visit: Friday stays open until 10pm, but Sunday's drift programme and return transport differ from the other days.

The show suits visitors who want to inspect older vehicles, meet clubs and browse specialist stands. It is a large exhibition, so pick a few priorities rather than expecting a quiet walk through every hall. If you are travelling with someone less interested in cars, agree on a finish time and food break before entering.

The photograph shows a Renault Riffard Tank 4CV at the November 8, 2019 edition. It is an archive exhibition image, not confirmation that this vehicle will appear in 2026.

Choose your day before buying admission

The organizer's practical information lists:

DayOpening hours
Friday, November 69am to 10pm
Saturday, November 79am to 7pm
Sunday, November 89am to 6pm

The organizer suggests arriving from 2pm on Friday to make use of the late opening. That can suit a slower morning in Lyon, but it is not a promise that every demonstration runs into the evening. Choose any timed activity first, then fit the static displays around it.

Ticket prices and the two-day calculation

The official ticket page currently gives these prices:

AdmissionListed price or condition
One day, online advance sale through October 29EUR16
One day from October 30, online or at the venueEUR18
Two-day admissionEUR30
Youth aged 12 to 16; students aged 17 to 25 with proofEUR15
Disability-card admissionEUR15, at the designated on-site desk
Child under 12Free ticket issued at entry
Wheelchair userFree ticket issued at entry, with a reduced rate for one accompanying person

For two ordinary adult days, the EUR30 ticket costs EUR2 less than two EUR16 advance tickets, or EUR6 less than two EUR18 tickets. A single day still costs less if that is all you want. Check the selected ticket's use conditions before paying, especially for concessions or a return on another day.

Do not use last year's advance-sale deadline or student rate. The current 2026 page specifies the October 29 cutoff and EUR15 reduced admission.

Outdoor drift sessions are different on Sunday

The October 2026 official programme, page 14, places circuit access through Hall 3.2 and lists these drift windows:

DayPublished drift sessions
Friday, November 610:30am to noon; 1:45pm to 3pm; 4pm to 5:30pm
Saturday, November 710:30am to noon; 1:50pm to 2:30pm; 4:15pm to 5:30pm
Sunday, November 810:30am to noon; 3:30pm to 5pm

Sunday has two listed drift sessions, not three. Other circuit activities occupy the intervening periods. The programme says it may change, so confirm the running order on arrival and follow the designated spectator areas.

If drift is your priority, choose one session and allow time to reach it from the halls. Keep an indoor alternative in mind for a changed running order. A ticket to an exhibition does not establish permission to enter the circuit, touch a display or ride in a demonstration vehicle.

Pick a few displays rather than every hall

The new Hall 3.2 adds space for youngtimers, including the BMW M3/M4 retrospective, as well as the drift village. Use the current hall plan to connect your chosen stops.

Three other displays give the visit a different pace:

  • The Citroën 2 CV display in Hall 4 marks the SPOT's 50th anniversary. The organizer lists 14 models, including the Basket, Charleston and 007 versions. Compare how their colours and details changed rather than rushing past the whole line.
  • The Avions Voisin display includes the C7 associated with Le Corbusier and the C28 Aérosport, alongside smaller vehicles and aviation references. It is a choice for visitors interested in design as much as performance.
  • The Fiat exhibition in Hall 5 covers 25 cars, with models including the Topolino and 130 Coupé. The organizer also announces the Gaston Lagaffe Fiat 509 nearby.

Leave some time for clubs or parts sellers if those are the reason for your trip. Photograph a stand number when arranging to return, and check a part's fit before buying it. A larger show gives you more choices, not an obligation to see everything.

For auction visitors, the organizer's separate auction page lists motorcycles on Friday at 6pm, youngtimers on Saturday at 3pm and collection cars on Sunday at 2pm, in Hall 6. Check Osenat's catalogue and participation conditions separately; a show ticket is not bidding registration.

Two different routes to Eurexpo

The organizer's access guide lists these options:

Starting pointSuggested connection
Central LyonMetro D to Grange Blanche, then T5 to Eurexpo
Lyon PerracheT2 to Grange Blanche, then T5
Lyon Part-DieuT3 to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then the N186 direct bus
Saint-Exupéry airport or its stationRhônexpress to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then N186

The event-specific N186 runs on show days. Do not assume an old timetable for a different Eurexpo event applies.

The organizer-linked November 2026 transport sheet lists the last departures from Eurexpo's main entrance:

DayT5 towards Grange BlancheN186 towards La Soie
FridayMidnight11:30pm
Saturday9:55pm8:30pm
Sunday8:07pm7:30pm

These are first-leg departures, not a guarantee of a connection to your hotel, airport or mainline train. Check the full return in the TCL journey information, particularly after Friday's late opening. Recheck the event sheet before departure in case the service plan changes.

Parking: Groupama shuttle or Eurexpo itself?

The Groupama Stadium booking page offers P3 parking plus return shuttle travel for all vehicle occupants at EUR8 with an online reservation, or EUR10 paid on site. It says the parking ticket is not show admission and gives a 2.60m vehicle-height limit.

DayLast shuttle from Eurexpo to Groupama P3P3 closes
Friday10pm10:30pm
Saturday7pm7:30pm
Sunday6pm6:30pm

This is a different service from N186. The parking shuttle's last departure is at the show's closing time, not half an hour afterwards. Collect belongings and reach the departure point in time; do not interpret the later car-park closing time as another bus departure.

For parking at Eurexpo, the organizer lists a EUR11.50 daily cap, no overnight parking and free motorcycle parking. P4 is free for operational vehicles at least 30 years old, subject to space, with trailers excluded. That is a specific eligibility rule, not free parking for every visitor's car.

Save which site you booked. Two places described as P3 can mean different car parks, and a map search for Groupama Stadium is not the same as a route to Eurexpo.

Food, bags and children

You may bring food and drink, but glass bottles are prohibited. The organizer lists a picnic area with tables in Hall 3. Its paid cloakroom accepts bags and cabin-size suitcases; arrange storage elsewhere for anything larger rather than assuming it will be accepted.

The children's supervised area is listed for ages four to 12 on Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 6pm, at Place des Lumières on the first floor. Capacity is 24 children; the first two hours are free, followed by EUR10 per hour. Ask staff about registration, collection and access before building your visit around it.

Animals are not admitted, apart from assistance dogs. A small pet in a carrier is not an exception stated by the organizer. For wheelchair access, contact the event about your entrance, route and any assistance needed; free admission does not answer every access question.

Tickets, maps and mobile data

Save the show ticket, parking booking and the correct return timetable separately. Open the issued ticket before reaching the queue, and keep your chosen stand numbers and meeting point available without loading a webpage. Use TCL for current transport information and your navigation app for the exact entrance or booked car park.

For visitors who need an additional allowance, OpenSim France plans provide a defined amount of data for route checks and keeping in touch with companions. On October 24, examples were 1GB for seven days at USD1.40 and 3GB for 15 days at USD3.40, both marked as supporting top-up. These are dated retail examples; final checkout totals can include fees or currency conversion.

Keep your usual allowance if it already covers the trip adequately. Data service does not replace admission, reserve a demonstration place or extend the last shuttle's departure time.

For a longer trip, read France with kids. Check your requirements with the travel data calculator, installation timing guide and phone compatibility checker.

Sources and updates

Programme, ticket and transport details were checked on October 24, 2026, against the linked organizer and operator pages. Confirm the circuit running order and complete return journey before travelling. This guide will be updated for material changes to demonstrations, admission, access or transport during the November 6 to 8 show.
