Fieracavalli 2026: tickets, family visits and Verona travel

Fieracavalli takes place at Veronafiere in Verona from November 5 to 8, 2026. Choose the competition or activity you want to see before buying admission: a general fair ticket does not automatically cover every reserved arena session. Then allow time for the transfer from the station or airport.
The organizer's current site brings together equestrian sport, breed presentations, shopping and a family area. It can be a full day for an enthusiast or a shorter introduction for children. Neither visit needs a schedule that sends you between distant halls every half-hour.
There is a nearer deadline for organized school visits: the ticket page lists October 24, 2026 as the reservation deadline. Schools should contact customer care now, rather than assume the ordinary online purchase covers their group arrangement.

Choose admission around the reason for your visit
| Your main interest | Start with | Check before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Browsing the fair and watching demonstrations | General admission for your chosen day | Included areas and the day's programme |
| Weekend Jumping Verona | The current reserved-session booking | Whether your order contains every admission you need |
| A first visit with children | Family activities and a short programme | Activity ages, queues and participation conditions |
| Shopping for equipment | Trade-hall hours and exhibitor locations | Time to finish before shops close |
| An organized school group | Customer care and the school arrangement | Reservation deadline, documents and collection |
Do not buy a ticket from a search result simply because its title contains Fieracavalli. Follow the live purchase link from the organizer and check the year, day and session in the basket. Old event pages can stay online long after their prices and access rules have changed.
Compare the total ticket price, not just EUR26
Adult admission is EUR26 online plus 8%, or EUR29 at the box office. The online calculation is EUR28.08 before any other final-basket charge, so compare the total.
For ages 7-12, the listed prices are EUR18 online or EUR20 on site; ages 0-6 enter free. Check concession evidence and collection requirements.
Tickets are named, single-day, single-entry and non-refundable if unused. A hotel break followed by re-entry needs a different plan.
Weekend Jumping Verona Hall 8 access needs its own ticket. Confirm the session, total cost and included admission in the current purchase flow.
Opening hours and trade halls are different
The organizer's current English opening-hours page lists 9am to 11pm Thursday through Saturday, and 9am to 7pm Sunday. It says trade halls close at 7pm, while evening entertainment and food areas continue.
An older Italian hours page still gives an earlier evening finish. For a late visit, confirm the date and last admission in the current booking information or with customer care. Do not arrange a long journey around a cached closing time.
Shopping late in the evening is a different proposition from attending a performance. Buy or compare equipment earlier, then leave time to find your seat or ring. For a daytime family visit, there is little reason to stay until the final programme item if everyone is tired.
Read the programme for public access, not just start times
The 2026 programme separates days and halls, and some entries are explicitly closed-door events. An 8am competition listing does not mean the ordinary visitor gates open at 8am.
Choose one event that matters most, then two nearby possibilities. Check whether a demonstration is a spectator event or an activity requiring registration. Leave a gap for finding the hall, queues and meals rather than scheduling consecutive sessions across the venue.
The programme contains technical material as well as entertainment. If you do not speak Italian, ask about the language of a talk before making it the centre of your day. A sporting competition may suit you better than a specialist seminar whose commentary you cannot follow.
For visitors primarily interested in Arena FISE, use the federation's current 2026 updates as well as the main fair schedule. Its October 22 notices concern competitors and qualified pony riders; they are not an invitation for every visitor to enter restricted areas or participate.
A family visit does not have to last all day
The official Future Riders section describes children's workshops and introductory experiences. The current site map places the family area in Hall 1. Treat individual activities as choices to check, not guaranteed turns for every child.
Ask staff about age, supervision, equipment and any queue or reservation before promising a riding activity. A child who enjoys seeing horses may not want to ride one. Watching a short demonstration can be enough.
Keep space in the day for food, toilets and a quiet pause. If a pushchair or mobility aid is essential, confirm the entrance route and specific seating arrangements with the organizer. A general accessibility statement does not reserve a place in a capacity-limited arena.
Follow the visitor conduct rules: stable areas are not open to unauthorized visitors. Stay out of working routes and follow handlers' instructions. Do not encourage children to approach or touch an animal without permission.
For a wider trip, use our Italy with kids guide rather than trying to fit a major fair and several day trips into the same short stay.
Verona Porta Nuova is not the fair entrance
Use Veronafiere, Viale del Lavoro 8, 37135 Verona as the venue address. The current Italian arrival guide puts Verona Porta Nuova station about 3km from the exhibition centre.
It lists buses 21 and 22 to Viale dell'Agricoltura, near Cangrande and San Zeno entrances, and 61 to Viale del Lavoro, near San Zeno. Check the day's actual service with ATV before departure, particularly for an evening return or Sunday.
Older fair-arrival information advertises a station shuttle, but the current Italian station section does not confirm that service. Do not make a free station shuttle your only connection unless the organizer publishes a current timetable.
Allow time after a train arrives to leave the platform, locate transport and reach the right gate. With an arena reservation, aim to reach the venue before the session rather than treating the train's arrival time as your fair arrival.
Driving: choose the car park before joining the queue
The organizer lists Genovesa parking with free shuttle line G, and Stadio parking with line C on Saturday and Sunday only. Nearer P4 and P7 parking is listed at EUR15 per car. Check the current arrangements and return service before choosing a lot.
A free park-and-ride can be useful, but its transfer still takes time. If you expect to leave late, confirm how to reach the car after your event. Do not assume parking entry hours establish when every shuttle finishes.
Avoid treating nearby residential streets as an all-day alternative. Follow the posted parking restrictions and current organizer guidance rather than a saved pin from a previous edition.
Verona airport and useful phone tools
Verona Airport's transport page confirms ATV AirLink line 199 between the airport and Verona Porta Nuova, with stops outside the terminal and station. That gets you to the station, not directly to your fair seat. Plan the second leg separately.
On departure, allow for the trip back to the airport as well as your airline's check-in and boarding requirements. A visitor's story about making a very tight connection is not a sensible buffer for your own flight.
Use Ticket Bus Verona, linked through ATV, for local journey planning and bus tickets. Keep your rail operator's app for train information and the official fair programme bookmarked. Save admission files, the venue map and your accommodation address before leaving Wi-Fi.
Mobile data for a Verona fair visit
An unlocked, compatible phone can use OpenSim Italy plans to check transport, reopen the programme and message companions away from hotel Wi-Fi. The public catalog, checked October 23, 2026, lists 1GB for 7 days at USD1.14 and 3GB for 15 days at USD3.00, both supporting top-up. Check the selected plan and checkout total before buying.
That defined allowance can be useful to compare against a home-network roaming tariff. If your existing plan already includes Italy, another may be unnecessary. OpenSim does not secure a sold-out seat or guarantee reception inside every hall. Verify any calls, SMS, hotspot or local-number requirement against the package.
Estimate your needs with the travel data calculator, then check phone compatibility and installation timing.
Fieracavalli sources and booking updates
Details were checked on October 23, 2026 against the organizer's current ticket, programme, hours, family and arrival pages, FISE notices and Verona Airport. Confirm your exact day, seat and transfer before committing to travel.
We will update this URL for revised tickets, programme access, opening hours or transport. The school deadline needs rechecking after October 24; after November 8, treat this as coverage of the 2026 edition, not a booking guide for a future fair.
