IndiGo adds Noida and Navi Mumbai flights to Udaipur

IndiGo plans to start daily nonstop flights to Udaipur from Noida International Airport on October 25, 2026, and from Navi Mumbai International Airport on November 15, 2026. The two routes use newer airport codes that are easy to confuse with Delhi and Mumbai: DXN means Noida International, while NMI means Navi Mumbai International.

The flights have been announced but have not started. Before paying, check the airport code, date and schedule in IndiGo's live booking. That matters most for travelers who would normally use Delhi's DEL or Mumbai's BOM airport.

The practical answer: Noida's DXN route is scheduled to begin first, on October 25. Navi Mumbai's NMI route follows on November 15. Both are planned daily, but the published schedules remain subject to regulatory approval. Confirm DXN or NMI on the issued itinerary rather than relying on the city name alone.

This guide was checked on October 9, 2026, the day after IndiGo listed the announcement.

Two Udaipur routes, two start dates

IndiGo's October 8 press-release listing announces daily direct flights from Noida International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport to Udaipur. The Economic Times' ETTravelWorld report provides the flight numbers and times, and says the schedules are subject to regulatory approval.

6E 2010Udaipur UDR to Navi Mumbai NMI11:50 a.m.1:05 p.m.November 15, 2026

All times are local. The route announcement does not make an individual departure certain. Use the issued booking for the operating date, terminal and current time, then recheck shortly before travel.

The two services may suit different travelers. DXN serves the greater Noida and western Uttar Pradesh side of Delhi-NCR. NMI is in Navi Mumbai, separate from Mumbai's established BOM airport. Compare the full door-to-door journey, not just the time in the air.

Check DXN, NMI and UDR before booking transport

Noida International Airport's official site identifies its IATA code as DXN. Its transport page lists a city shuttle connecting Noida with the terminal, an airport shuttle, and government intercity buses serving places including Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra and Mathura. The airport's transport FAQ also lists taxis, app-based cabs, buses and private vehicles.

Do not assume a Delhi Airport journey will also work for DXN. Compare the ride to Noida International with the trip to DEL from your actual starting point. Check the official shuttle timetable for the travel date and leave a buffer for road conditions.

Navi Mumbai International Airport's current transport guide lists taxis, car rentals, bus services and app-based rides. NMI is not BOM. A hotel, driver or family member told only “Mumbai airport” could go to the wrong terminal complex, so share the code and full airport name.

At Udaipur, the Airports Authority of India's transport page lists city buses outside the airport, prepaid taxis, interstate taxi or car services, car rental and an Uber kiosk. Availability can change by hour. Confirm the option you intend to use instead of treating a listed category as a guaranteed departure.

Read the baggage line on the selected fare

IndiGo's current check-in page lists a general domestic allowance of one checked bag up to 15 kg and one cabin bag up to 7 kg and 115 cm in combined dimensions. It also notes that extra weight can attract a charge.

Travelers regularly ask whether a weight allowance permits another suitcase, whether passengers on one booking can pool weight, and whether a laptop bag counts separately. Those questions do not all have the same answer. A kilogram allowance and a piece allowance are different rules, and student, special or connecting fares may vary.

Use the baggage entitlement printed on the booking as the controlling answer. If the plan needs an extra piece, pooled allowance or special equipment, get confirmation from IndiGo before reaching the airport. A comment describing what staff allowed on another trip is not a fare rule.

Check in early and treat seat choice separately

IndiGo's check-in guidance says domestic web check-in is available from 48 hours until 60 minutes before departure. It recommends arriving two hours before a domestic flight, and says airport counters close 60 minutes before departure. Checked bags still need to reach bag drop.

Seat selection can add another decision. Some passengers report seeing paid seats, auto-allocation or different options at different stages of web check-in. Do not wait until the cutoff while trying to solve a seat preference. Check in within the airline's stated window, keep screenshots or receipts for paid options, and use an airport counter if the digital process fails.

Navi Mumbai Airport advises domestic passengers to arrive two to three hours before departure. Noida International gives a general two-hour guideline. Follow the longer requirement shown by the airline or airport for the particular flight, especially during the first weeks of a new route.

Build recovery time around a future service

These flights are planned services, not established operations. Avoid placing a separate flight, train, wedding event or non-refundable transfer immediately after the scheduled arrival if the trip cannot tolerate a change.

If an onward flight is on the same booking, ask IndiGo whether the bag is tagged to the final destination and which security process applies. If it is on a separate ticket, expect to collect the bag and meet the next check-in deadline unless both carriers explicitly confirm another arrangement. The word “connection” does not by itself protect a separate booking.

Save the airline notice, current itinerary and payment receipts. If the schedule changes, use the options IndiGo provides for that booking rather than assuming a rule based on another passenger's case.

Mobile data for the airport-to-Udaipur journey

An OpenSim India eSIM can provide ground mobile data for flight updates, the DXN or NMI transfer, maps and an Udaipur pickup. OpenSim's public catalog was checked on October 9 and listed 16 current India packages.

Choose from the live plan card by allowance, validity, activation rule, supported network and top-up status. Not every plan is reloadable. Some daily plans continue at a reduced speed after the stated high-speed allowance. An eSIM supplies data on supported ground networks; it does not provide inflight Wi-Fi or guarantee that a bus or ride is available.

Install while reliable Wi-Fi is available, then follow the selected package's activation instructions. See our guides to checking eSIM compatibility, deciding when to install and estimating travel data.

Ten questions about IndiGo's new Udaipur flights

When does the Noida to Udaipur flight start?

IndiGo has announced October 25, 2026, as the start date for daily DXN-UDR service. The first flight has not operated, so confirm the route in the live schedule before making a fixed plan.

When does the Navi Mumbai to Udaipur flight start?

The NMI-UDR service is planned from November 15, 2026, with daily flights. Do not apply the earlier Noida start date to the Navi Mumbai route.

Does Noida mean Delhi Airport?

No. This route uses Noida International Airport, code DXN, not Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, code DEL. Check the code before booking a cab, bus or connecting ticket.

Does Navi Mumbai mean Mumbai Airport at BOM?

No. The announced flight uses Navi Mumbai International Airport, code NMI. Mumbai's established Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport uses BOM.

What are the IndiGo flight numbers and times?

Current reporting lists 6E 7631 and 6E 7632 for Noida-Udaipur, and 6E 2009 and 6E 2010 for Navi Mumbai-Udaipur. The full local-time schedule is in the table above. Check the issued itinerary because the plans remain subject to approval and change.

How early should I reach DXN or NMI?

IndiGo recommends reaching the airport two hours before a domestic flight. Navi Mumbai Airport publishes a two-to-three-hour guideline. Use the longer instruction shown for your flight and allow extra time to learn an unfamiliar terminal.

Can I take more than one checked bag if I stay under 15 kg?

IndiGo's general domestic guidance says 15 kg in one checked piece. Extra pieces and special fares can have different terms, so read the entitlement on the booking and prepay or confirm any addition before travel.

Do I have to pay to choose a seat during web check-in?

Seat options depend on availability and the selected fare. A paid preference is not the same as the check-in deadline. If the site does not offer a suitable free or automatic option, use IndiGo's current support or airport process rather than letting the check-in window close.

Will my checked bag transfer on an IndiGo connection?

Ask at the first airport and read the destination on the bag tag. A same-booking connection may be handled differently from separate tickets, and security procedures can still require another screening.

How can I get from Udaipur Airport to the city?

The airport's official page lists an outside city bus, prepaid taxis, car rental, interstate taxi or car services and an Uber kiosk. Check the current operating hours and pickup point for the service you choose.

A final check for DXN, NMI and UDR

  • Match DXN, NMI or UDR to the intended airport.
  • Use October 25 for the Noida route and November 15 for Navi Mumbai.
  • Confirm the flight number and local time in IndiGo's live booking.
  • Compare the airport transfer from the actual home, hotel or station.
  • Read the selected fare's baggage, seat and change terms.
  • Allow time for bag drop, security and a new terminal layout.
  • Protect separate onward tickets with a realistic buffer.
  • Save the booking, airport transport and pickup details offline.
  • Recheck the flight status before leaving for the airport.

What could change after launch

The routes, daily frequency and planned start dates come from IndiGo's October 8 announcement. ETTravelWorld and Udaipur Times independently report the flight numbers and schedule, while the airport operators provide the ground-transport guidance.

We will update this page after independent confirmation of the first operation or for a material change to either start date, frequency, timetable, airport, baggage rule or route status. Until then, treat both routes as announced future services and use the issued booking for an individual journey.
