Treat those as prices checked on September 22, not a quote that overrides the live checkout. The same official page contains a stale 2025 reference in one sentence and conflicts with the FAQ about Wednesday access. Confirm the selected date, access areas and final amount before payment.

For most travelers, the choice is straightforward:

• One day: choose this only if you already know which exhibitors or yachts matter. A general walk around the show can fill the day, but it is poor value if you arrive without a route or appointments.
• Two days: useful when meetings are split across the harbor or you want one structured day and one flexible day.
• Three days: aimed at visitors with several business conversations, inspections or industry commitments. It is not necessary simply to see large yachts.

Can a visitor board the yachts?

Leave time around the appointment. Security checks, crowded quays and shuttle waits can turn a short distance on the map into a slow transfer. Group meetings by area instead of crossing Port Hercule after every conversation.

Visitors without yacht appointments can still see the exhibition areas, tenders, stands and harbor display included with their pass. The mistake is paying for entry mainly because you expect spontaneous access to several yachts.

Can you see the yachts without a ticket?

You can see parts of the harbor and yachts from public areas outside the show, but you cannot treat Port Hercule as a normal open waterfront during the event. The organizer controls the exhibition perimeter, and Monaco applies temporary traffic, parking and pedestrian changes around the port.

How to get to Monaco Yacht Show from Nice

Monaco's government recommends trains and the Zou! bus network during the show. For many visitors staying in Nice, the regional train is the simplest way to avoid road congestion and parking searches. At Monaco-Monte-Carlo station, follow the Port Hercule exit rather than assuming every station exit reaches the same level of the city.

Build the day around the return as well as the arrival:

1. Check the final practical train for your destination, not only the last service shown in an app.
2. Allow time to walk from the show to the correct station entrance.
3. Expect platforms and trains to be busier around closing time.
4. Save the timetable and an alternative route before entering the event.

Visitors arriving at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport should compare a road transfer with rail from the airport area. The event organizer places Nice Airport about 22 kilometers from Monaco and says the road journey can take under 30 minutes in normal conditions. Show traffic is not normal conditions, so do not schedule a yacht appointment against that minimum.

Where should you park for Monaco Yacht Show?

The official advice is Salines Park and Ride at the entrance to Monaco. It is designed to keep drivers out of the most congested central streets. Spaces can be booked online for periods from half a day to 14 days, with multiple entries and exits during the booked period.

From Salines, continue by CAM bus or walk toward Port Hercule. Monaco's government says CAM buses are free from September 18 through 30, covering all four show days. The parking ticket's normal bus benefit is less important during that free-travel window, but the site still offers a controlled place to leave the car.

Do not drive toward the port first and search for a space after meeting restrictions. Set Salines as the initial destination, keep the reservation confirmation offline and photograph the parking level and bay. Check temporary road signs on arrival because the event setup affects several streets and quays.

Moving around Port Hercule

The show has four public entrances: Quai Antoine Ier, Parvis Piscine on Boulevard Albert Ier, Quai Chicane and Quai Albert Ier. Use the official show map to select an entrance near the first appointment rather than defaulting to the first gate you see.

Inside the show, electric golf carts and shuttle boats link exhibition areas and are free for participants. Courtesy cars have narrower pass eligibility, so a standard visitor should not build the schedule around them. Monaco's ordinary public harbor shuttle is reserved for show visitors during MYS and is not a shortcut for people outside the ticketed event.

The harbor looks compact from above. On foot, queues, security, pontoons and crowded passages change the calculation. A practical day groups stops into two or three zones and avoids repeated crossings.

A realistic one-day Monaco Yacht Show plan

Before 09:30: arrive in Monaco, follow the port exit and open the saved show map. If driving, leave the car at Salines and continue by bus or on foot.

10:00 to 12:30: start with the most important scheduled appointment. Then cover the same side of the harbor while energy and time are predictable.

12:30 to 14:00: take a proper break. Food and rest areas exist inside the venue, but queues can absorb more time than expected. Do not place a critical appointment immediately after an uncertain lunch booking.

14:00 to 16:30: use a shuttle boat or golf cart for the second zone. Check the official app before crossing in case an exhibitor or meeting point changes.

16:30 onward: finish near the exit that best serves the station, bus stop or pickup. Saturday closes at 18:00, one half-hour earlier than the other days. Avoid leaving the longest harbor crossing until the final minutes.

This schedule deliberately leaves gaps. A day with eight tightly packed appointments is more likely to produce missed meetings than a useful visit.

Monaco Yacht Show rules that change what you carry

There is no left-luggage facility at the show. Do not arrive from the airport with a suitcase and expect to store it at the entrance. Arrange hotel or station-area storage separately and verify its hours before paying.

The organizer states that there is no formal dress code, but it can refuse entry when clothing or conduct is judged incompatible with the event. Comfortable, presentable shoes are the practical choice. Exhibitors may ask visitors to remove shoes before boarding, so footwear that is easy to take off can help.

• The child-ticket wording needs a direct check. The FAQ says admission is free through age 8, then says tickets are required "from the age of 8 onwards." Ask the organizer to confirm the rule for an 8-year-old before arrival.
• Photos and videos are allowed in the exhibition tents and on the quays. Photography aboard a yacht requires the exhibitor's permission.
• Drones are prohibited from September 19 at 08:00 until September 27 at 18:00.
• Guide dogs are allowed. Small dogs that can be carried are permitted on a lead under the organizer's conditions; other animals are not.

The official FAQ does not publish a simple universal bag-size table. Carry only what you need and ask the organizer before bringing specialist camera equipment or professional luggage.
