Pitchfork Music Festival Paris runs November 2-8, 2026, across venues around the city. Buy individual concert tickets for the shows you want, or choose Avant-Garde for the seven-venue Bastille circuit on November 5-7. Avant-Garde visitors must collect a wristband each evening at La Galerie du PopUp!, 14 Rue Abel, before entering the participating rooms.

This is not a single-site festival where one weekly ticket opens every stage. A good Paris visit starts with two decisions: which artist you most want to hear, and whether you prefer a fixed concert or an evening discovering unfamiliar acts on foot. Those choices affect your ticket, accommodation base and journey home.

Individual concerts and Avant-Garde are different purchases

The festival's current overview confirms the multi-venue format. Avant-Garde is the compact Bastille part of the programme, not a pass for every concert elsewhere in Paris.

Start from the official programme and ticket links. Some events use DICE and others link to Shotgun. Follow the seller named for the specific show rather than assuming your existing ticketing app contains the whole festival.

Do not book non-refundable travel on the strength of a lineup poster alone. Check that the precise show you want is still bookable and that its timing fits your arrival. A festival with several dates does not necessarily repeat your chosen artist on another night.

Avant-Garde prices: one, two or three evenings?

The official DICE collection listed these prices on October 18. Recheck the selected ticket before paying because categories and availability can change.

Avant-Garde choiceListed priceWhat to compare
One evening, November 5, 6 or 7€28.25Best if only one lineup interests you
Two individual evenings€56.50 combinedLower total than buying three days you will not use
Three-day pass€77.97€6.78 less than three €28.25 tickets

Three individual evenings total €84.75. The three-day saving makes sense only if you want all three nights. For two nights, the individual-ticket total is €21.47 below the three-day price. Compare the programmes before treating a bundle as better value.

Budget separately for meals, transport and any club ticket. A lower pass price does not compensate for a hotel on the wrong side of the city if you will pay for a long journey every night.

Collect a fresh wristband at 14 Rue Abel each night

The organizer's current pickup instructions name La Galerie du PopUp!, 14 Rue Abel, 75012 Paris, from 18:00 to 22:30 on November 5, 6 and 7. Bring your DICE ticket. Other venues do not issue the wristbands.

Save the exact street address, not just Place de la Bastille. Allow time for collection before walking to your first room. With a multi-day pass, repeat the collection each evening; yesterday's wristband is not the next day's admission.

The wristband permits entry to the participating shows subject to each room's capacity. It is not a reserved place for a particular artist. Choose a first-choice set and a nearby alternative, and leave time for the queue and security check between them.

The circuit includes Badaboum, Café de la Danse, La Mécanique Ondulatoire, POPUP!, Supersonic, Supersonic Records and Superb Stage at Les Disquaires. The festival describes these as a walkable neighbourhood circuit. That does not make a minute-by-minute plan reliable: walking time excludes getting out of one room and into the next.

Which shows need a separate plan?

The official programme lists Iceage at Main Room on November 2 as two separate shows, with doors at 18:30 and 21:45. Check which session you are buying. Those are door times, not a promise of the exact performance start.

Headache plays Élysée Montmartre on November 2; Dragonflies follows there on November 3. AMORE and mori are at Badaboum on November 3. These are individual concert choices, not stops you can add to an Avant-Garde wristband.

As checked on October 18, the programme marks DIIV, ear, Bassvictim and Common Saints as sold out. Check the event's official ticket route for any waitlist rather than assuming a resale listing proves availability.

For Avant-Garde, sample a few tracks before choosing a night. The lineups include Becky and the Birds on Thursday, Quiet Light on Friday and Lido Pimienta on Saturday. You will get more out of a handful of full sets than an ambitious checklist that has you leaving every room halfway through.

The overall festival dates extend to November 8, while the published club programme includes late Saturday-night events. Read an after-midnight booking as an overnight journey with its own date and return plan; do not infer a Sunday daytime concert from the festival's end date.

Use the festival app for times and DICE for tickets

The official festival app page describes schedules organised by venue, time or favourites, a Bastille map and reminders 15 minutes before a saved artist's set. Install it before travelling and check that the current programme has loaded. Allow notifications if you want reminders or late changes.

DICE handles admission for events booked there. Its ticket activation instructions say the QR code becomes available on the event day, usually a couple of hours beforehand; your ticket displays its exact activation time.

If friends arrive separately, use any available transfer option before activation opens. Once activated, tickets can no longer be transferred or returned to the waitlist. Do not rely on a screenshot of the QR code for entry.

For a sold-out DICE event, DICE's resale guidance recommends its waitlist, where available, or a permitted transfer from someone you know. An unknown social-media seller is not a verified ticket source. Keep your account credentials private and follow the official support route if a ticket looks wrong.

Save addresses and your selected timetable separately for navigation, but keep the actual admission ticket in the issuer's required format. Offline preparation is useful; it does not make every ticket screenshot valid.

Check age, luggage and access for each room

The festival's general guidance requires under-16s to be accompanied by a responsible adult, with ID checks and individual venue rules still applying. Confirm the particular event if travelling with a teenager, especially for a club night. Do not buy from a different seller to bypass a published age restriction.

General entry rules prohibit food, drinks, pets and dangerous objects, and each room has further conditions. Travel light and leave your suitcase at your accommodation or confirmed storage, rather than expecting a venue to hold it while you move around Bastille.

Café de la Danse's own visitor page says it has no cloakroom, although paid lockers are available for smaller items. It prohibits large bags and suitcases, including cabin luggage.

For mobility access there, the venue identifies a 20cm entrance step and asks visitors to call on the day so staff can help. Its description of accessible interior facilities does not remove that entrance obstacle. Contact each other room separately about the route, viewing position and toilets; one venue's arrangement does not cover the whole circuit.

If the concert is part of a wider family holiday, use our France with kids guide for daytime planning rather than treating a late music programme as suitable for every child.

Plan a return from the venue where you will finish

Use the Île-de-France Mobilités app for current routes, live information and transport-ticket options. Enter the final venue and the time you expect to leave, not just the first venue's neighbourhood. Trabendo and Élysée Montmartre are not part of the compact Bastille walking circuit.

The transport authority's current Noctilien guide describes night buses operating 00:30-05:30. Check your exact stop, direction, connection and fare in the planner. Night service is not a guarantee that your daytime route runs unchanged or that every destination has a direct bus.

Choose accommodation after mapping your booked nights. Staying near Bastille can simplify an Avant-Garde-focused weekend; a different base may suit your individual shows better. Compare the actual late return before deciding a cheaper room farther away saves money.

Eat before your first show or leave a deliberate gap, and bring a layer suitable for walking and queuing outside in November. If attending alone, save your accommodation address and tell someone your plan. Arrange a clear meeting point when joining friends rather than trying to find them in a queue as doors open.

OpenSim data for your Paris festival visit

Mobile data is useful for set changes, venue maps, ticket activation and a changed journey home. It cannot get you into a full room, repair a ticketing outage or guarantee reception in a crowd. Charge your phone before leaving and carry a power bank if it will handle both admission and navigation.

OpenSim's France catalog listed 1GB for seven days at US$1.40 and 3GB for 15 days at US$3.40 on October 18, with top-up supported on both. A fixed allowance gives a short-trip visitor a small starting option rather than paying for a high daily allowance they may not use. If your existing carrier already includes France, check that allowance first.

Compare current France eSIM plans, estimate your usage with the travel data calculator, and check phone compatibility and installation timing before departure.
