Singapore Airlines amenity kits: who gets what from November

Singapore Airlines will progressively introduce new amenity kits in Suites, First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class from November 2026. The kits are planned for flights longer than six hours, but that does not mean every qualifying flight will switch on the first day of November.

The airline is also widening its sleepwear offer. Business Class passengers will receive sleeper suits for the first time, although the published rule covers long-haul flights and selected medium-haul overnight flights longer than six hours. Singapore Airlines has not named those selected routes or an exact rollout day.

The practical answer: check whether the scheduled flight is longer than six hours, then look at the cabin and departure time. The amenity kit rule applies across cabins, while sleeper suits are for long-haul flights and selected medium-haul overnight services. Because the introduction is progressive, treat the new items as expected rather than guaranteed until Singapore Airlines confirms them for the flight.

This guide was checked on October 15, 2026, one day after Singapore Airlines announced the changes.

The six-hour rule applies to kits, not every amenity

Singapore Airlines' October 14 announcement says the new kits will be available on flights longer than six hours in every cabin. A flight scheduled for exactly six hours is not covered by that wording.

Sleepwear has a separate rule. The airline says sleeper suits will be available on all long-haul flights and selected medium-haul overnight flights longer than six hours. It does not define every route in either group in the announcement, so flight duration alone cannot confirm a sleeper suit.

The table reflects the announced range, not what is guaranteed to remain in stock on a particular flight. Crew distribution and item availability can still vary during a progressive rollout.

Business Class gets sleepwear for the first time

The most notable change is the Business Class sleeper suit. Singapore Airlines describes it as a navy poly-cotton set available in two sizes, paired with grey slippers. The airline says the material is breathable and designed for comfort during the flight.

The Business Class amenity kit centres on BYREDO's Blanche range. It includes a fragrance spray, hand cream and lip balm, while the pouch also carries eyeshades, socks and a dental kit. Matching body lotion and facial toner are planned for Business Class lavatories.

These are service amenities, not a new seat or cabin. Aircraft type, seat layout and whether a flight has the latest Business Class hard product remain separate booking checks.

Suites and First Class have separate Sisley kits

Suites and First Class passengers will receive different Sisley kits for men and women. Singapore Airlines lists facial mist, body lotion, hand cream and lip balm in both. The men's version adds a hair and body wash and facial moisturiser, while the women's version adds face and hair cream, hand and nail cream and a nourishing mask.

The dark grey sleeper suit is made from cotton and offered in four sizes. Padded slippers complete the sleepwear set. Singapore Airlines also says Sisley face lotion and body lotion will be available in the lavatories.

Passengers who need a particular size should ask the crew early. The announcement lists the size range but does not promise that every size will be available throughout a flight.

Premium Economy and Economy receive simpler kits

Premium Economy gets a recycled zip pouch containing lip balm, eyeshades, socks and a dental kit. Economy gets a drawstring pouch with eyeshades, socks and a dental kit. The announcement does not include sleeper suits for either cabin.

This is a material change for travelers who are deciding what to keep in a carry-on. It is still sensible to pack any medicine, specialist skin care and preferred dental items yourself. An onboard kit is a convenience, not a substitute for essentials that would be difficult to replace.

Singapore Airlines does not say in the announcement whether every kit will be placed at the seat or distributed later. If the kit is not visible after boarding, ask the crew politely rather than assuming the flight is excluded.

Children get a larger toy on longer premium-cabin flights

Children traveling in Suites, First Class or Business Class on flights longer than five hours can receive a larger plush Beary the Bear toy. This five-hour threshold is different from the six-hour amenity-kit rule.

On all flights, children up to age 12 can receive age-specific Disney and Pixar Toy Story items. The announced range includes a reusable cup and coloring roll for children under three, a sling bag and pouch for ages three to six, and a duffel bag and stationery set for ages seven to 12.

The toys are separate from the adult kit and sleepwear rules. Families should still carry the comfort item or activity a child depends on because onboard stock can vary.

A progressive rollout leaves some details open

Singapore Airlines says the range will be introduced progressively from November 2026. It has not published an exact first day, a flight list or a completion date. It has also not identified the selected medium-haul overnight flights that will carry sleeper suits.

That means a route can satisfy the published duration rule while still carrying the previous amenity range during the transition. The booking page, airline messages and cabin crew are the best current checks, but even they may not guarantee a particular item or size before departure.

The update also does not change baggage allowances, lounge access, onboard Wi-Fi or seat selection. Those remain governed by the fare, status, route and operating aircraft.

Mobile data helps before departure and after landing

A Singapore eSIM can provide mobile data for airline messages, maps and ground transport in Singapore. Travelers continuing across several listed destinations can compare the Asia 12 areas eSIM instead of assuming one country plan covers the whole itinerary.

An eSIM does not provide onboard Wi-Fi or influence whether a kit or sleeper suit is loaded. Install it while reliable internet is available and follow the selected package's activation instructions. Data allowance, validity, speed, hotspot support and top-up eligibility vary by package, so check the live card before purchase and do not assume every plan is reloadable.

These guides explain when to install an eSIM, how to check phone compatibility and how much travel data to plan.

Ten questions about the new Singapore Airlines amenities

When do the new Singapore Airlines amenity kits start?

Singapore Airlines says they will be introduced progressively from November 2026. The airline has not published an exact first date or completion date.

Which flights get the new amenity kits?

The announced rule is flights longer than six hours in every cabin. Because the rollout is progressive, a qualifying duration does not guarantee that the new range has reached a particular flight.

Does an exactly six-hour flight qualify?

Not under the wording in the announcement, which says longer than six hours. Check the scheduled duration and any current information Singapore Airlines provides for the flight.

Will Economy passengers receive an amenity kit?

Yes, on flights covered by the duration and rollout rules. The Economy kit is a drawstring pouch with eyeshades, socks and a dental kit.

What is in the Premium Economy kit?

Singapore Airlines lists lip balm, eyeshades, socks and a dental kit in a recycled zip pouch. It has not announced sleeper suits for Premium Economy.

Does Business Class now get pyjamas?

Yes. Singapore Airlines is introducing a navy sleeper suit and grey slippers in Business Class for long-haul flights and selected medium-haul overnight flights longer than six hours.

Are Business Class sleeper suits on every flight longer than six hours?

No. The published scope is all long-haul flights plus selected medium-haul overnight flights longer than six hours. Singapore Airlines has not released the selected route list.

What sizes are the sleeper suits?

The Business Class set comes in two sizes, while the Suites and First Class set comes in four. Availability of a particular size can depend on what remains onboard, so ask early if fit matters.

Are the children's toys available in every cabin?

Age-specific Toy Story items are planned on all flights for children up to age 12. The larger Beary toy has a narrower rule: premium-cabin travel on flights longer than five hours.

Does the new kit mean the flight has a new seat or free Wi-Fi?

No. Amenity service, aircraft seating and connectivity are separate. Check the assigned aircraft and Singapore Airlines' current Wi-Fi terms for the specific booking.

What to check before the flight

  • Confirm the operating airline, ticketed cabin and scheduled flight duration.
  • Treat November as the start of a progressive introduction, not a network-wide switch on one day.
  • For sleepwear, check whether the flight is long-haul or a selected medium-haul overnight service.
  • Pack medicine and personal essentials rather than relying on an onboard kit.
  • Ask early if a particular sleeper-suit size matters.
  • Save the itinerary and essential arrival details offline.
  • Install any destination eSIM before travel and follow the selected plan's activation rule.

When this amenity guide should be updated

The November start, flight-duration thresholds, cabin contents and sleepwear scope come from Singapore Airlines' October 14 announcement. Current travel coverage and public passenger discussions were used to identify recurring questions about Economy kits, Business Class sleepwear, distribution, sizes and route eligibility, not as sources for airline policy.

This page should be updated when Singapore Airlines gives an exact start or completion date, names the selected medium-haul routes, changes the flight-duration thresholds or materially revises the kit contents. Those developments belong on this URL rather than in a competing article.
