The tournament is already underway: the PING Junior Solheim Cup took place on September 7 and 8, practice days follow on September 9 and 10, and the Europe versus United States match begins on September 11. The main planning risk is arriving at the wrong transfer point or assuming a normal taxi can reach the entrance.

The short answer: Den Bosch station is the simplest hub for most visitors. The ticket includes a shuttle bus or reserved rental bike from the available official hubs, but the transport choice still needs to be added to the booking. For Friday and Saturday, mobility hubs open at 5:30 a.m., gates open at 6 a.m. and the first foursomes start at 7:40 a.m. Sunday starts later, with hubs at 8:30 a.m., gates at 9 a.m. and singles from 11:10 a.m.

Which day should you attend the Solheim Cup?

Friday and Saturday offer the longest match-play days. Four foursomes begin in the morning, followed by four fourball matches in the afternoon. Sunday has all 12 singles matches, when every player competes and the Cup is decided.

Those times are starting windows, not finishing times. A match can end before the 18th hole, and several matches occupy the course at once. Sunday is easier for a later train, but it may also concentrate attention around the closing holes as the deciding points approach.

How do you get to Bernardus Golf?

Do not enter Bernardus Golf as a taxi or driving destination and expect to reach the gate. The organizer provides no spectator parking or general drop-off at the course. Roads around Cromvoirt are narrow, and the event uses mobility hubs to control the final part of the journey.

From Den Bosch station

This is the clearest route for visitors arriving by train or staying in Den Bosch. Choose one of the official options linked to your event booking:

• Shuttle bus: board at Stationsplein for an estimated 12-kilometre, 20-minute transfer.
• Rental bike: collect at Leonardo da Vinciplein for an estimated nine-kilometre, 30-minute ride.

The shuttle or rental bike is included in the event ticket when selected through the official booking flow. There is no official tournament parking at Den Bosch station, and nearby public parking is separate and subject to availability.

If you are driving

Pre-book one of the event's off-site choices. They are not interchangeable walk-up car parks.

The live transport page lists additional parking charges. Check the current price and availability before paying, because transport inventory can close. The organizer warns that options are limited and may not be available on arrival.

Can a taxi take you to the course?

No. The designated taxi and rideshare point is Den Bosch station at Stationsplein. From there, use the shuttle or bike option attached to the ticket. This applies in both directions, so do not arrange a post-event pickup at Bernardus Golf.

What time should you leave Den Bosch?

Work backwards from the part of the day you care about, not only from the gate time. For the opening foursomes on Friday or Saturday, hubs open at 5:30 a.m. and gates at 6 a.m. An early shuttle leaves room for the transfer, security and the walk to a viewing point.

The scheduled closing sequence is equally important:

• Friday and Saturday: gates close at 8 p.m.; mobility hubs close at 8:30 p.m.

The ticket terms say the venue closes 30 minutes before park-and-ride operations end. Do not assume buses or rental-bike returns continue late into the night. Check the day's timetable if a ceremony, live music or a long match changes your departure plan.

Where should you stay for the Solheim Cup?

Den Bosch is the most convenient base because it is the official public-transport hub and has rail links to other Dutch cities. Staying in central Amsterdam is possible, but it creates an early train plus the event's final shuttle or bike leg. That is a poor fit for someone determined to be seated before the first Friday or Saturday foursome.

A hotel close to Bernardus is only useful if it gives you a realistic walking or cycling route; it does not create permission for a taxi or private car to use the venue entrance.

How do Solheim Cup 2026 tickets work?

Tickets are sold in advance through the organizer's See Tickets link. The official FAQ says there are no gate sales. General admission currently starts at EUR118.75 for tournament rounds and includes public course access, first-come grandstands, and the selected shuttle or bicycle hire.

Every person entering needs a ticket. Children aged 15 and under receive free general admission with a full-paying adult, with a maximum of three children per adult. Hospitality uses different child terms, so check the selected product rather than applying the general-admission rule to every ticket.

In match play, each pairing competes hole by hole rather than building a tournament-wide stroke total. Foursomes use one ball per side with alternating shots. In fourballs, both players play their own ball and the better score counts. Sunday is singles.

You have two sensible viewing strategies:

1. Choose a position: arrive early at a grandstand or crossing point and let several matches pass you.
2. Follow one match: walk with a pairing, accepting that sightlines and pace change as the gallery grows.

Holding a place near the 1st tee gives you the introductions and opening shots but costs time elsewhere.
