Arajet adds eSIM shopping to Manage My Booking with Arcube

Arajet passengers can now shop for travel eSIMs through the airline's digital journey after a partnership with Arcube. The initial marketplace also includes airport transfers, Fast Track, lounges, parking, tours and other trip add-ons.

Arajet says the offers appear through Manage My Booking, pre-flight emails and other booking touchpoints. A public co-branded marketplace is also live at arajet.arcube.com.

The useful distinction is who supplies what. Arajet puts the shop in front of passengers, while Arcube manages the marketplace, supplier relationships, servicing and product communications. Buying an eSIM there does not make mobile data part of the airfare or Arajet's flight contract.

The traveler answer: the new marketplace is a convenient discovery route, not proof that its first eSIM is the best fit. Compare the exact destination list, allowance, validity, start trigger, network, hotspot rule and refund terms before paying. Save the airline and connectivity confirmations separately because different companies handle them.

Where Arajet passengers can find the eSIM offer

Arajet's first-party partnership post names three routes into the marketplace: Manage My Booking, pre-departure email and other points in the purchase and trip-preparation journey. Contemporary release material also mentions booking confirmations and direct access to the co-branded site.

The public Arcube page loads without an Arajet booking reference and presents eSIM data plans alongside other add-ons. That does not establish that every offer, price or promotion is available without a booking. A passenger should begin with the link in their reservation when one is supplied, then compare it with the direct page.

This is not airline check-in. Buying or installing the eSIM will not issue a boarding pass, add baggage, change a seat or update a flight. Return to Arajet's own Manage My Booking or flight-status route for the ticket.

Arcube, not Arajet, runs the add-on marketplace

The partnership announcement says Arcube handles the technology integration, supplier relationships, servicing and communications for the added products. The live marketplace's organization markup also identifies Arcube as the operator and publishes [email protected] as its customer-support address.

That split matters when something goes wrong. A flight delay belongs with Arajet. An eSIM installation or data problem follows the support information in the eSIM confirmation. A transfer or lounge issue may go to another named provider.

Keep each receipt and confirmation email. The company shown on the card charge, product voucher and support message may differ from the airline name at the top of the marketplace.

The landing page does not publish one standard eSIM package

Arajet and Arcube announced a product category, not one universal allowance for every passenger. The public landing page does not set a single eSIM price, country list, validity period, mobile network or high-speed allowance.

Those fields can vary by destination and supplier. Before checkout, confirm:

• every country on the itinerary, including a connection where mobile data is needed;
• the total data allowance and validity period;
• whether validity starts at purchase, installation or first supported-network connection;
• whether the plan is fixed-data, daily high-speed or described as unlimited;
• the reduced speed after any daily high-speed allowance;
• hotspot, calls, SMS and phone-number support;
• the local networks and published speed generation; and
• the named supplier and support route.

An airline-branded storefront can reduce searching, but it does not remove these package-level differences.

Refunds are restricted after eSIM purchase

The marketplace's public eSIM FAQ says purchases are non-refundable and describes a refund only for a verified technical problem. It also tells customers to check compatibility before buying.

That is stricter than assuming an unused digital product can always be cancelled. Check that the phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked before payment. If the profile fails, follow the installation steps, record the error and contact the provider named in the confirmation before deleting it.

Calls, messages and home-line roaming still need a plan

The marketplace describes mobile-data eSIMs. It does not promise that every package includes a local phone number, ordinary calls or SMS. Travelers who need bank codes, airline texts or their usual number may keep the home line enabled on a dual-SIM phone while selecting the travel line for mobile data.

That setup does not make the home line free abroad. Disable its data roaming when appropriate and check what the home carrier charges for incoming calls, outgoing calls and messages. The Arcube FAQ says both lines can work on a compatible dual-SIM phone, but exact behavior depends on the device and settings.

Install the profile while reliable Wi-Fi is available. On arrival, select it as the data line and follow the package's instruction for data roaming. The setting can be required on a travel eSIM even while roaming remains off on the usual SIM.

The Dominican Republic has another arrival option at SDQ

Arajet connects travelers through Santo Domingo and Punta Cana. International passengers arriving at Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo may also encounter the separate AILA 24-hour free eSIM offer.

That airport benefit and Arajet's marketplace are not the same service. The AILA offer is an arrival amenity with its own allowance and eligibility rules. Arajet's Arcube page is a broader shop for destination plans and other travel products. A passenger landing at Punta Cana should not assume an SDQ airport offer will be displayed there.

If the first day is the only gap, compare the airport option with a paid plan. If the trip needs confirmed data from landing through departure, arrange enough validity before travel rather than relying on noticing an airport QR code.

Arajet marketplace or Roaming eSIM: which is clearer?

Arajet's advantage is placement. A passenger can discover connectivity in the same booking journey as other trip add-ons. The landing page, however, does not expose one complete plan comparison until the traveler enters a destination and purchase flow.

Roaming eSIM's public catalog exposes plan fields on destination pages before checkout. On September 3, the Dominican Republic endpoint returned 13 packages. Current fixed-data examples included 1GB for seven days at USD 3.76, 3GB for 15 days at USD 10.68 and 5GB for 30 days at USD 16.74. The records listed Altice and Claro, while the displayed speed label and operator technology varied by package.

🏆 Roaming eSIM wins for independent plan selection: travelers can compare current destination, allowance, validity, price, operator and top-up fields without starting from an airline booking. The Arajet marketplace wins on convenience when its exact checkout offer fits the route and price.

This is not a claim that one option is always cheaper or faster. Network access, phone bands, location and congestion affect the result. Roaming eSIM publishes a 24/7 support route; the selected package still controls calls, SMS, hotspot use, activation and reloadability.

Four Roaming eSIM routes across Arajet's network

Use a Dominican Republic Roaming eSIM for a trip centered on Santo Domingo, Punta Cana or another destination in the country. Compare a United States Roaming eSIM, Mexico Roaming eSIM or Canada Roaming eSIM when that country is the main stop.

A regional plan may be useful for an itinerary across several Arajet markets, but only after checking every included country. The airline ticket and route map do not define eSIM coverage.

Is the eSIM included in my Arajet fare?

No inclusion is announced. It is a separately purchased add-on in the Arcube marketplace.

Do I need an Arajet booking to open the marketplace?

Who provides customer support for the eSIM?
