Bangkok Bank offers 50% off AIS eSIM2Fly, capped at 200 baht

Bangkok Bank is offering eligible first-time Travel Card applicants a 50% discount on AIS SIM2Fly or eSIM2Fly, capped at THB 200. Applications remain open through September 30, 2026, but the benefit is limited to 4,000 people and requires at least THB 500 in qualifying card spending within 30 days of applying.
This is not a public coupon that any traveler can enter. The code appears in Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking only after the application and spending conditions are recorded.
The traveler answer: the maximum saving is THB 200, and earning it requires a new Bangkok Bank Travel Card plus qualifying spend. Roaming eSIM is the simpler route when you want to buy travel data directly without opening a card, waiting for a reward or paying the balance with a specified bank product.
How the Bangkok Bank eSIM2Fly discount works
| Step | Requirement | Deadline or wait |
|---|---|---|
| Apply | First Bangkok Bank Travel Card application | By September 30, 2026 |
| Qualify | Accumulate at least THB 500 in eligible card spending | Within 30 days of application |
| Receive | Offer appears in Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking | Within 2 business days after qualification |
| Redeem | Claim it in the Rewards menu | By October 31, 2026 |
| Use | Apply the code to SIM2Fly or eSIM2Fly | By November 30, 2026 |
| Pay | Complete the remaining payment with the Travel Card | Within 30 minutes of applying the code |
The bank limits the offer to one discount per person and 4,000 discounts for the campaign. Meeting the conditions does not guarantee a code if the allocation has already been used.
The 50% headline has a THB 200 ceiling
The benefit halves the eligible price only until the saving reaches THB 200. A THB 300 purchase would save THB 150. A THB 499 purchase would save no more than THB 200, leaving at least THB 299 to pay.
That remaining balance must be paid with the Bangkok Bank Travel Card within 30 minutes after the code is successfully applied. A different card or a delayed checkout does not match the published terms.
Price should be compared after the cap. A higher-priced package does not become a 50% bargain across its full value, and a package that does not match the route remains a poor choice even when part of its cost is discounted.
Application date and code date are different
September 30 is the final published date for a first Travel Card application under this benefit. It is not the code's final use date.
An eligible customer must claim the reward in the app by October 31. Once redeemed, the code remains valid through November 30. Those later dates help someone applying near the end of September, but the separate 30-day spending window and limited allocation still matter.
Bangkok Bank says it uses the settlement date recorded in its system when calculating eligible spend. A purchase made near a deadline can settle later, so do not assume the card authorization time controls.
Card status can cancel eligibility
The Travel Card must remain active through the promotion period. Bangkok Bank says lost, seized, blocked, cancelled or replacement cards can be denied the special offer.
The reward cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. It belongs to the qualifying customer and is delivered inside the bank's app, which makes social posts offering to sell or share a code a poor basis for travel planning.
The bank also distinguishes between topping up the Travel Card and spending with it. For the eSIM benefit, the published requirement is accumulated spending of at least THB 500. Loading THB 500 onto the card alone is not the same condition.
SIM2Fly is for outbound travel
AIS positions SIM2Fly as an international roaming product that can be kept for later trips and extended with eligible on-top packages. Current AIS pages show regional and global variants with different destination lists, allowances, validity periods and call inclusions.
Do not buy from the campaign name alone. Open the eligible SIM2Fly or eSIM2Fly card and confirm that every destination on the itinerary is covered. A route that moves outside the package group may need another on-top package.
AIS says first activation can occur in Thailand or a supported SIM2Fly country. Its global terms also say the activated SIM must be used in a designated country within 60 days or the included roaming package can be lost. The exact product terms remain the authority.
eSIM2Fly or Roaming eSIM?
eSIM2Fly suits an eligible Bangkok Bank customer who wants an AIS outbound roaming profile, can complete the qualifying spend and finds an included route that fits. The ability to keep SIM2Fly for another trip and buy an eligible on-top package can be useful.
Roaming eSIM does not require a Bangkok Bank card, a THB 500 qualifying purchase, a two-business-day reward wait or payment within a 30-minute coupon window. The public catalog can be checked before checkout, and support is available 24/7.
π Roaming eSIM wins on direct access: the bank offer can beat the price of an eligible AIS purchase by up to THB 200. Roaming eSIM is better when the priority is choosing and buying the right destination plan without completing a separate financial-product campaign.
On September 7, Roaming eSIM's public Japan catalog returned 43 plan options. The sampled card listed a seven-day fixed allowance, 3G, 4G and 5G availability, several named Japanese operators and online top-up support. Those fields should be compared with the exact AIS card, not with the 50% headline.
Compare the trip before claiming the reward
For a single-country visit, compare a Japan Roaming eSIM or China Roaming eSIM. A route across several nearby markets may fit an Asia 20 areas Roaming eSIM, while a wider itinerary can be checked against a Global 120 areas Roaming eSIM.
These commercial pages own destination shopping intent. This news page owns only the Bangkok Bank reward, its dates and the decisions needed before redeeming it.

Bangkok Bank campaign source record
Bangkok Bank's official mid-year Travel Card page establishes the application, spend, allocation, reward, payment and validity conditions. The Travel Card page confirms the campaign remains listed. AIS's SIM2Fly page supplies current product choices and the separate on-top concept, while its global terms establish the checked activation boundary.
Update policy: We will update this URL if Bangkok Bank changes the application period, spend requirement, allocation, reward delivery, redemption dates, payment rule or discount, or if AIS changes the relevant SIM2Fly terms.
