The code names are not interchangeable. If one is rejected, first check whether the product page labels the profile as reloadable or one-off. Then check the destination exclusion and sale date before trying another code.

A reloadable Changi Travel eSIM keeps one profile available for adding eligible destination packages later. Changi's reloadable FAQ says the QR code must be scanned within 60 days of purchase. A one-off plan is the simpler fit when the destination, allowance and trip length are settled. The checked China one-off product says top-ups are unavailable. Do not assume that rule or any particular allowance applies to every destination; read the selected card.
If plans may change, compare the reload option before paying. Buying a one-off profile because it is slightly cheaper can be false economy if an extension later requires a second purchase and installation.

The same FAQ says activation may take up to 30 minutes depending on device and connection. Install while reliable Wi-Fi and the QR email are available, but follow the exact product instructions so that service does not start sooner than intended.
Check hotspot, speed and refund terms on the selected card
Changi's product pages show that hotspot support is not universal. The checked China product supports tethering, while a checked Thailand product says it does not. A family or laptop user should treat the selected card as the authority.
Daily unlimited products can also include a fixed high-speed allowance followed by slower service. The checked China product lists 500MB at high speed per day, then 128Kbps. That may support messages after the allowance is used but is not equivalent to sustained high-speed data.
The checked product also says the QR code can be scanned only once, the profile cannot be added back after deletion and refunds stop after the QR code is sent. Keep the eSIM installed during troubleshooting and contact the provider before deleting it.
Changi Travel eSIM or Roaming eSIM?
Changi's 15% saving is useful for a traveler whose exact product qualifies and who is comfortable with its installation, timing and refund terms. The reloadable option is also practical for repeat trips when future destinations remain eligible.
