NKU Park and Ride shuttle

TANK will operate a special Park and Ride from Northern Kentucky University on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 only. Parking is in NKU lots K, L and M.

The published one-day pass costs $2.20 and is cashless through the Transit app. Outbound service begins at 6 PM, with the last NKU-to-Covington departure at 9 PM. From 9 PM onward, buses run only back toward NKU. The final Covington Transit Center departures continue until 11 PM.

The shuttle is useful for a Covington-first or cross-river route, but it will not carry late arrivals into the event after 9 PM. Read the current TANK shuttle page on your travel day in case the operator changes a stop or time.

Rideshare and taxi

The City of Covington warns that rideshare vehicles may have to stop outside the busiest pedestrian area. The same principle applies downtown: a pin inside a closure is not a workable pickup plan.

Choose a lit, named location beyond the event footprint and share it with the group before the evening begins. Expect a longer walk and higher demand at 11 PM. If anyone needs an accessible drop-off, use the current official accessibility map rather than assuming the usual curb will remain open.

Driving and reserved parking

BLINK links to LAZ Parking for selected Cincinnati reservations. A pass is location-specific, and overstaying the reserved period can produce another charge. Compare the garage with your final zone and the direction you need to leave.

Parking closest to the first artwork can be inconvenient four hours later. A garage on the edge of your planned finish is often the more useful choice.

Arrive between 4 PM and 5:30 PM if the block party is your priority. The event occupies Central Parkway between Liberty Street and West 14th Street near TQL Stadium.
