Bratislava Jazz Days 2026: tickets, lineup and travel

Bratislava Jazz Days takes place October 23-25, 2026, at Incheba Expo Arena. Choose Friday for Caravan Palace, Saturday for Mohini Dey or Sunday for Ibrahim Maalouf, then compare the available seating categories. The free young-talent evening on October 22 is a separate event at Metropol.
The festival's 51st edition gives a short city break a clear evening focus. You can spend the day in Bratislava and choose one concert night, or stay for the weekend if several artists interest you. Before buying, check the current checkout price: a prominent published price wave expired on September 30.
Which Bratislava Jazz Days evening should you choose?
The city tourism programme lists these artists by day. The times below come from the Ticketportal event listing; they are event start times, not confirmed door-opening times or individual set times.
| Evening | Listed start | Artists on that day's programme | A reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friday, October 23 | 19:00 | Caravan Palace, Charlie Hunter Trio, Headmovers | Electronic swing alongside guitar-led music |
| Saturday, October 24 | 19:00 | Mohini Dey, Ana Carla Maza with ALAMAR, Eugen Vizváry Group | Bass, cello and piano-led performances |
| Sunday, October 25 | 18:00 | Ibrahim Maalouf with Trumpets of Michel Ange, Joel Ross, Mattia Müller Laser Sights | Trumpet and vibraphone among the evening's sounds |
This is a day-selection table, not a running order. Do not arrive at the listed start assuming the first artist in the row plays immediately, or book your return journey around an unconfirmed finishing time.
For Friday, the organizer's artist introduction describes Caravan Palace's mix of swing and electronics and Charlie Hunter's unusual guitar approach. Listen to a few tracks before deciding whether to buy a single evening or a weekend pass. A familiar headline name may not be your only reason to stay for the whole programme.
Tickets: compare the seat, then the current price
The organizer's ticket guide distinguishes unassigned seating, numbered seats and VIP options, with single-day tickets and three-day passes. VIP includes food and drinks under the published description. Check what the specific ticket includes rather than treating every higher-priced category as the same upgrade.
For a group, numbered seats are worth comparing if sitting together matters. With unassigned seating, a shared booking does not itself reserve adjacent chairs. Check the seating plan and category before paying; do not infer a standing or dancing area from Caravan Palace's musical style.
Why we are not quoting the September ticket wave as today's price
At our October 17 check, Ticketportal still displayed a price table explicitly labelled as the second wave, valid until September 30 at midnight. The organizer's price page showed matching figures. Those numbers are not a verified October checkout quote.
Follow the festival's official purchase link, select your date and category, then review the amount payable and any fees before confirming. Availability can differ between evenings and seat types. A cached search result or a price in an earlier announcement should not decide your budget.
For a weekend pass, check whether you will attend enough of the programme to justify it at the current price. If you can only make Saturday, a pass is not automatically better value. Keep the order confirmation and ticket file available offline.
October 22: the free young-talent final is at Metropol
The organizer's October 13 announcement confirms a free final on Thursday, October 22, at Metropol. Five acts are listed: Lukáš Šnábel Quartet, Peter Uher featuring Ghostman, Trilobeat, Most Nost and Damián Štefan Kvintet.
This is an option for someone arriving before the main weekend, or a visitor interested in emerging musicians without buying an Incheba evening. Check the final's current start time and Metropol location before travelling. Do not use your Incheba route for this separate venue.
A Thursday arrival can also make Friday less rushed. Leave the day free enough to check in and eat before the concert rather than combining a tight flight connection with your first paid evening.
Getting to Incheba Expo Arena
Use the venue's festival page and save Incheba Expo Arena, Viedenská cesta 3-7, Bratislava. A broad map pin for the exhibition complex may not identify the concert entrance. Follow the festival's arrival information and signs when you reach the site.
Incheba names Aupark and Einsteinova among nearby public-transport stops. Choose the useful stop from your actual starting point, then check the walk to the arena. The stop closest to your accommodation may require a different connection from a railway station or the airport.
The venue currently lists €10 for a passenger car on its event page. Check the parking arrangement and payment conditions before driving; the displayed charge alone does not establish overnight parking or unlimited re-entry. If you plan to drink, arrange another way home.
An evening ticket should leave you time to arrive, locate the correct entrance and find your seat. Avoid a schedule that reaches the exhibition grounds at the listed performance start, especially if you need to collect or resolve a ticket.
Airport arrival and late journeys home
The Bratislava Airport transport page identifies bus 61 between the airport and the main railway station, with N61 as a night service. This is not a direct festival shuttle. Plan the onward connection to Incheba separately and check the timetable for your arrival date.
Allow for getting off the aircraft, baggage and finding the stop before choosing a connection. A coach scheduled only a few minutes after landing is a poor basis for a fixed concert plan. The flight's arrival time is not the time you will be ready to board a bus.
For a visit from Vienna, compare the actual coach or rail journey, arrival station and return service before buying the concert ticket. Do not assume a daytime connection runs after the music finishes. If no suitable return remains, staying in Bratislava may be more practical than leaving during the artist you came to hear.
Save a second way back to your accommodation. Check it again on the evening itself, including the walk to the stop and any transfer. A late service on one line does not guarantee every connecting line will still be running.
Using the IDS BK transport app
The official IDS BK app provides journey planning, timetables and mobile tickets, with English and German interfaces. It supports purchasing tickets for more than one passenger, which can help a group keep its journey together.
Board only once the ticket is valid. The app allows an immediate or selected later start, and its validity display matters. Buying a ticket and boarding before its start time are different actions. Check the countdown or active ticket before getting on.
For city journeys, the operator's Bratislava ticket guidance identifies zones 100 and 101, with tickets limited by time. Choose enough time for the whole journey and any transfer. A festival admission ticket is not evidence that public transport is included.
Keep a charged phone for a mobile transit ticket. Save the concert ticket separately so that changing between apps at the entrance does not depend on finding the confirmation email again.
Accessibility, children and entry questions
The organizer publishes child and wheelchair admission arrangements on its ticket page. Contact it before purchase if you need a companion place, an age clarification or an allocated seat. Free entry does not by itself confirm a reserved chair or the route through the building.
For wheelchair visitors, the published policy describes free admission arranged on site and a half-price companion ticket. Confirm the process, entrance and suitable viewing position in advance rather than assuming the standard online ticket flow covers everything you need.
Ask about bags, re-entry and cloakroom arrangements if they affect your evening. We have not confirmed a current 2026 rule for those items. An older Incheba concert's policy should not be transferred to this festival.
Mobile data for tickets, routes and meeting friends
Download the ticket and save your accommodation address before leaving Wi-Fi. Mobile data is useful for a revised bus route, a message to someone arriving later or checking a changed event notice. It cannot guarantee reception inside a busy venue, so keep the essential documents offline too.
For a short Slovakia-only visit, OpenSim's Slovakia 3GB, 15-day plan was listed at US$3 on October 17, with top-up support on that package. Its fixed allowance can suit a weekend of maps and messaging without paying for a larger allowance you do not need. Compare it with your existing carrier's included roaming before buying; a suitable included allowance may mean you need no extra plan.
Use the Slovakia eSIM plan page to check current choices. A Slovakia plan does not automatically cover a Vienna stopover. If Austria is part of the trip, check every destination in the selected plan's coverage rather than assuming neighboring countries are included.
Estimate your usage with the travel data calculator, check phone compatibility and carrier locks, and follow the installation timing guide before departure. For a longer family trip, our Slovakia with kids guide covers the wider country without making the concert weekend your whole itinerary.
