Comic Con Stockholm winter 2026: tickets and guest days

Comic Con Stockholm's winter edition runs October 30-November 1, 2026, at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. Choose the day your guest appears before buying admission: Chace Crawford is listed for Friday and Saturday, while Ben Barnes is listed for Saturday and Sunday. Guest photos and autographs cost extra.

The venue distinction matters too. Kistamässan appears on the same organizer's website for the May 2027 summer edition. It is not the destination for this Halloween weekend.

You can also go for cosplay, drawing, games and workshops without buying a celebrity encounter. Start with one activity you want to do, then leave room to explore rather than booking every hour.

Dates, opening hours and the correct venue

The official event website lists:

Save Mässvägen 1, Älvsjö in your map app. When comparing accommodation or planning a train journey, use the winter venue rather than searching for a generic Comic Con location.

If you are flying in for one guest, check their current appearance page and session availability before committing to a non-refundable trip. A weekend admission ticket does not make every guest available on every day.

Which day should you choose for Chace Crawford or Ben Barnes?

Chace Crawford's appearance page lists October 30 and 31. His September 25 announcement confirms photo, autograph and Q&A appearances. Do not book Sunday expecting to see him.

Ben Barnes's appearance page lists October 31 and November 1. Friday is therefore the wrong day if he is your reason for going.

Saturday overlaps both published appearance windows. That can suit someone who wants both, but check the separate appointment times before paying. Two guests attending the same day is not proof that you can fit two particular sessions into your schedule.

For a more flexible visit, choose the activities first. You might prefer a workshop and a parade to spending much of the afternoon moving between paid appointments.

Admission prices and what Fast Pass adds

The ticket page advertised these starting prices on October 17. Check availability and final fees before paying.

Two-day tickets cover Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday. The Sunday family ticket covers two adults and two children aged 4-12, or one adult and three children. Earlier early-bird prices are marked sold out.

Fast Pass starts at SEK 300 per person, per day, extra. It adds fast-track access at entry, Heroes Main Stage and Heroes Meet, not admission or a guest booking.

Decide whether the queue benefit is worth the cost for your plans.

How much could admission plus a guest photo cost?

The guest-price page lists a Ben Barnes photo session at SEK 750 and an autograph at SEK 700. They are separate products, not benefits automatically included with entry.

Using the advertised adult day-ticket starting price, admission plus that photo would be SEK 1,135 before fees, transport, food or shopping. Adding the starting-price Fast Pass would bring the illustration to SEK 1,435. Your selected day's actual quote may differ.

That calculation gives you a useful spending check before checkout. If the photo is the main reason for the trip, confirm it is available before buying flights. If you mainly want games and cosplay, keep that money for the rest of the day instead.

Panels, guest bookings and cancellation rules

The organizer's FAQ includes ordinary panels with admission, subject to space and first-come entry. Paid photos and autographs are separate; neither reserves a panel seat.

Admission is online only. For resale, the organizer recommends Ticketmaster Resale. Check the specific ticket rather than paying someone offering a screenshot.

If a guest cancels, the FAQ distinguishes a refund for that guest's photo or autograph from non-refundable admission. Read each purchase's terms before booking a trip around one actor.

What can you do without buying guest extras?

The winter event overview includes cosplay, creative activities, games and K-pop workshops. You do not need a shopping list of collectibles to have a reason to attend.

Use the current programme and floor-plan links to build a small plan. Examples currently listed include:

Friday's parade finishes as the workshop begins. If you want the workshop from the start, allow for the walk rather than assuming you can watch every minute of both. For a panel you care about, check its entry arrangements and leave time to queue.

The programme can change. Recheck it before leaving your accommodation and again after arriving; a saved screenshot is a backup, not a live update.

A manageable first visit

Choose one fixed session and one flexible activity. After arrival, find the relevant stage or workshop area, get your bearings and decide where to meet if your group splits up. Browse between those appointments rather than making shopping the only plan.

Going alone can make the schedule simpler: you can follow the activity you want without coordinating several paid bookings. If crowds become tiring, leave a genuine break in the day. An unused hour does not need filling with another queue.

Getting to Stockholmsmässan by train

Stockholmsmässan's travel guidance puts the commuter-train journey from Stockholm City to Älvsjö at about nine minutes. The station is beside the venue. That is a station-to-station estimate, not your total hotel-to-entrance time.

Use the official SL journey planner or SL app for the actual date, departure point and return. Add the walk to your first station, waiting time and the entrance queue. For a timed photo appointment, arriving at Älvsjö just before the slot leaves too little room for the rest.

Check airport journeys separately. A route that reaches central Stockholm still needs the onward trip to Älvsjö, and different airport services can have different ticket conditions. This guide does not establish that a local transport ticket covers your airport transfer.

After the event, check the next service before leaving the hall. Pick an indoor meeting point your party can recognize, with an alternative outside the busiest exit flow. Save the accommodation address so a flat phone does not leave one person unable to find the way back.

Children, access, cosplay and bags

The organizer allows strollers but warns about crowds. Children under four enter free. Visitors who need a companion should check the FAQ's documentation requirements; disability wristbands are handled at the information desk and do not replace admission.

Contact the organizer before buying if a queue, standing session or specific assistance arrangement determines whether you can attend. Describe what you need rather than relying on a general venue accessibility label.

For costumes, ask permission before photographing another visitor. Confirm props with the organizer in advance; a prop shown in an old event photograph is not evidence that it will pass today's checks.

The venue's security guidance says bag restrictions and checks can depend on the event. Check the final Comic Con instructions before packing rather than assuming either a universal bag ban or unrestricted luggage. Arrange storage with your accommodation if you are bringing a suitcase; do not assume the venue will accept it.

Keep tickets available offline and data costs separate

Download the tickets in the format your issuer supports, save the current programme and floor plan, and agree on a meeting point. Check whether a ticket needs its live app or another validation step; a screenshot is not automatically a valid substitute.

Mobile data is useful for SL journey changes, booking messages and finding your group. For a visitor whose home plan does not already cover Sweden, OpenSim Sweden plans provide a prepaid allowance. On October 17, the public catalog listed 3 GB for 15 days at USD 3, with top-up supported for that plan.

Its advantage for a short Stockholm stay is a defined allowance you can budget separately from event spending, with an eligible top-up if needed. It does not replace admission, speed up a queue or guarantee connectivity in a crowded hall. Check your existing roaming allowance before paying for another plan.
