The airline says the expanded schedule adds more than 35,400 seats, an 80% increase from summer 2026. That explains the scale of the change, but it does not guarantee that a particular fare, cabin or award seat will be available.
The route is seasonal, not year-round
The 2027 announcement describes a summer operation. Travelers asking about Thanksgiving, Christmas or another winter date should not read the October 30 daily-service endpoint as confirmation that the nonstop continues afterward.
Search the desired date directly on British Airways. If the nonstop is unavailable, compare the full one-ticket alternatives before building a self-transfer through another U.S. or European airport. A separate positioning flight can make a missed connection the traveler's financial responsibility.

Heathrow connections depend on the ticket
