Klook Travel Fest Singapore 2026: free pass, deals and MRT

Klook Travel Fest is at Suntec City Atrium, Towers 1 and 2, on October 17-18, 2026, from 10am to 9pm. Entry is free through the event entrance pass. Reserve the right pass, bring a short list of trips you would genuinely book, and check each promotion's conditions before paying. The official entrance-pass page is separate from the paid Power Pack.

This is a travel-planning fair, not an attraction ticket covering everything in Singapore. It can be useful if you already have a holiday in mind and want to ask questions or compare bookings. Going simply to collect offers is less useful if those offers send you towards dates or activities you did not want.

Free entrance pass or Power Pack: which do you need?

Your situationSensible next step
You want to browse the fairReserve the free event entrance pass
You already bought a Power PackCheck your issued vouchers, account eligibility and redemption conditions
You are visiting from overseasDo not assume a Singapore-user promotion applies to your account
You want attraction tickets for a future tripCompare the exact attraction, date and ticket type separately

The entrance pass does not promise every giveaway. The pass listing describes goodie bags for the first 150 visitors each day; promotional conditions still apply. Decide whether arriving early is worth it to you rather than treating a gift as compensation for a purchase.

The Power Pack listing advertised a SGD50 purchase for two SGD50 discount codes. One code has no minimum spend; the other requires SGD500. It is restricted to Singapore users with a valid Klook account, cannot be stacked with other promo codes, and has no cancellation, refund or amendment option.

Its advertised purchase period was October 2-10, which has already ended. Voucher use is listed for October 17-18. A product page still appearing in search is not proof the sale has reopened. If you did not buy it, use the free pass route and check for an official update rather than following an old Power Pack promotion.

Which flash deals are worth planning around?

Klook's current programme lists timed flash offers. Two recurring slots are Universal Studios Japan at 3pm and the advertised $300-off sitewide slot at 6pm, on both days. Other offers differ by day. Check the latest schedule and full redemption terms before travelling for a particular drop.

The organizer directs visitors to the stage screen and Klook app for the code process. Being there does not guarantee a successful redemption. Set a maximum acceptable total before the countdown, and keep an alternative booking in mind if the offer is unavailable.

For a family, a pair offer only helps if the ticket ages, dates and inclusions fit the people travelling. An admission ticket and an Express Pass are different products. Do not compare the price of one with a bundle that includes something else.

Compare a deal in five checks before checkout

Keep the attraction's own booking page open alongside the fair offer. Compare the final payable amount, not the largest number on a poster.

  1. Use the same date and ticket type. Check adult and child categories, entry windows and any required reservation.
  2. Check what is included. Transport, priority access, meals and extras should be compared like for like.
  3. Read the eligibility and exclusions. Look for account, residence, card, app, product and minimum-spend conditions.
  4. Check the refund rule. A small saving may not suit a trip whose dates are still uncertain.
  5. Confirm the final total. Include the selected currency, fees and anything you must add to use the ticket.

Do not add an unwanted tour just to reach a spending threshold. Equally, a genuine saving on something already in your plan is worth considering. Save the accepted terms and booking confirmation, including the cancellation deadline when one applies.

If a bank offer or another coupon is involved, check whether the checkout actually accepts the combination. Do not assume separate discounts stack, and do not count an unredeemed reward as money already saved. Ask the issuer about a failed code rather than repeatedly buying a different product to make it work.

What can you do without chasing a discount?

The programme includes destination zones for Japan, China, Southeast Asia and Australia, travel talks, itinerary material and an Ask Klook booth. Use those to answer a specific planning question: how many nights you need, whether a route is manageable, or which ticket matches your intended visit.

Bring your dates, number of travellers and a rough budget. A useful conversation should leave you with a clearer route or booking choice, even if you buy nothing. Check an attraction's operational details with the attraction itself before making a non-refundable commitment.

With children, choose one or two activities and leave a meal break rather than spending the whole day waiting near a stage. For the rest of your holiday, our Singapore with kids guide covers attractions and realistic family itineraries. The fair is a planning stop, not a replacement for a full day out.

Getting to Suntec by MRT

Suntec is a large complex. Save Suntec City Atrium, Towers 1 and 2, not just the name of the convention centre, and follow the event signs once inside.

The Suntec visitor directions list these approaches to the complex:

StationPublished approach
Esplanade, Circle LineExit A, then follow Suntec signs
Promenade, Circle and Downtown linesExit C, then walk through Suntec City Mall
City Hall, East West and North South linesWalk through City Link Mall and Esplanade Exchange

These are complex-access directions, not guaranteed walking times to your fair booth. Allow extra time to locate the atrium, especially if you are trying to catch a particular stage slot. Use the LTA journey-planning information for your actual departure point.

If you have just landed, do not reserve an activity around an optimistic airport transfer estimate. Allow for immigration, bags and getting to your accommodation first. Travelling across town with luggage makes a spontaneous fair visit much less convenient.

Do overseas visitors need the SimplyGo app to ride?

Not just to pay with an accepted contactless bank card. SimplyGo's official guidance says an account is not required for contactless transit payment. Foreign-issued American Express, Mastercard and Visa contactless cards are accepted subject to card eligibility and overseas-use settings.

Foreign-issued Mastercard and Visa cards have a SGD0.60 administrative fee per day of use, not per ride; your bank may charge other fees. Use the same payment method to enter and exit. Tapping in with a physical card and out with that card in a phone wallet can create separate transactions.

The enhanced SimplyGo app's foreign-number guidance also matters: registration requires a local number, while Guest Mode provides selected features such as the fare calculator. A working mobile-data connection does not create a Singapore phone number or remove a verification requirement.

Phone preparation for the fair and your onward trip

Open the Klook app and check that you can access your account before the day. Keep the entrance pass and existing booking references available offline where the issuer allows it. Charge your phone, bring a power bank and save the route back to your accommodation.

Mobile data helps with live booking checks, maps and family messages, but it cannot guarantee a flash deal or overcome a promotion's eligibility rules.

For an overseas visitor needing a standalone allowance, OpenSim's Singapore catalogue checked October 12 lists a 5GB, 30-day plan at US$4.82 with eligible top-up support. That gives you a defined connectivity option without buying additional attraction tickets to qualify for a gift-with-purchase offer. Review the selected plan on the Singapore product page.

If a promotional eSIM fits your destination, allowance and eligibility, it may be better value. Your existing roaming allowance may also be enough. Compare the actual terms rather than assuming a paid plan is always better than a free offer.

For a route continuing from Singapore to Japan or other included countries, an Asia 12-area plan is another option; verify every stop in the selected package. Use the travel data calculator, check phone compatibility, and read when to install an eSIM before travel before buying.

Klook Travel Fest sources and offer updates

Event, pass, Power Pack and transport details were checked against the linked organizer and operator pages on October 12, 2026. Check the programme again before October 17 and the selected offer at checkout. After October 18, treat the fair's promotions as past offers unless the organizer explicitly extends them.
