The Laver Cup returns to London from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, 2026. The O2 hosts five sessions of Team Europe against Team World, with day and night tickets on Friday and Saturday and one potentially decisive session on Sunday.

The short answer: choose a session by its day and match mix, not by a promised player. Matchups are announced only the day before, and no player's appearance is guaranteed. Load the mobile ticket in The O2 app before traveling, bring no more than one A4-size bag, and use North Greenwich station unless a live TfL problem makes another route more practical.

The first team to 13 points wins. If the teams are tied after 12 matches, they play an overtime doubles decider. If Sunday needs only one match to settle the competition, the trophy ceremony is followed by an exhibition match.
Friday's matchups are announced on Thursday afternoon. Saturday's lineup is due one hour after Friday night play ends, and Sunday's is due one hour after Saturday night play ends. The official schedule should therefore be the final check, particularly for anyone buying late or trying to see one player.
Which Laver Cup session should you buy?
There is no honest way to promise a specific player when buying a single session in advance. The useful choice is between match type, point value, timing and price.

Friday day is the least expensive single-session category on the current official ticket page for an equivalent seat location. That does not make it a lesser event: it still contains two singles matches. Saturday has twice the points per match, while Sunday can swing quickly because every win is worth three.
Buy Sunday for the competition's finish, not for a guaranteed full day. A team close to 13 points may end the contest in the opening doubles match. The exhibition provision gives Sunday ticket holders another match in that situation, but the players and format are at the organizer's discretion.

Yannick Noah captains Team Europe and Andre Agassi captains Team World. The published roster is a reason to follow the event, but it is not a ticket guarantee. The organizer and venue both say player appearances can change without notice. Do not book a non-refundable trip around the assumption that one named player will appear in one chosen session.
Buy through an authorized Laver Cup ticket route
The official ticket page lists full-tournament, multi-session and single-session options. A full-tournament package supplies a separate ticket for each of the five sessions, in the same seat. Multi-session packages cover selected sessions, and single-session tickets cover one session with at least two matches.
AXS is The O2's official ticketing partner. The organizer also names its own hospitality team, approved travel partners and approved hospitality sellers. It warns that tickets from unauthorized sellers may not be authentic or accepted.
The practical checks at checkout are:
- Confirm the session number and date, not only the words "Laver Cup."
- Read the final total after VAT and ticket fees.
- Check whether the seat is upper or lower level and use the live seat map.
- Use the same email address in the ticket account and The O2 app.
- Treat the order as final. The tournament terms state that ordinary sales are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Separate tickets can be transferred by session. If plans change, use the official transfer or resale function shown in the account rather than sending a screenshot or buying through a direct message.
Set up The O2 mobile ticket before leaving the hotel
Laver Cup tickets are digital. The event FAQ says tickets were released for account management from September 1. AXS customers need The O2 or AXS app and must sign in with the email used for the purchase.
The barcode changes inside the app, so screenshots are not accepted. Complete this checklist on dependable Wi-Fi:
- Install or update The O2 app.
- Sign in and connect the ticket account.
- Open each ticket and confirm the correct session appears.
- Transfer companions' tickets before the group separates, if each person will enter independently.
- Set the phone's date and time automatically and charge it before departure.
- Save the order confirmation and account email separately for the box office.
The O2's current help page says visitors without a usable smartphone, or those who still cannot see a ticket after troubleshooting, should bring matching photo ID and the order confirmation to the box office 90 minutes before doors. That is a recovery route, not a reason to leave app setup until the entrance.
Plan day and night sessions as separate visits
Ticket terms say spectators must leave at the end of each session, even when they hold both day and night tickets, unless the organizer gives different instructions. There is also no re-entry during a session unless the organizer communicates an exception.
For a two-session Friday or Saturday:
- Eat before the day session rather than assuming the first match will finish on schedule.
- Keep the next mobile ticket visible in the account.
- Leave the arena when instructed, then use The O2 restaurants or the outdoor Fan Zone during the gap.
- Rejoin the correct entrance queue for the night session.
- Do not book a fixed dinner reservation that leaves no room for a long second match.
The night doors may open later than 5:30 p.m. if the day session runs long. A delay does not automatically change the 7 p.m. listed start, so follow the live event notice rather than estimating from the previous match.
The free Fan Zone and Open Practice Day
The free Laver Cup Fan Zone sits on Greenwich Peninsula beside The O2 and North Greenwich station. It includes a public viewing screen, tennis activities, food, sponsor areas and a live podcast program. It opens:

The Fan Zone is the useful no-arena-ticket option. It is also a sensible meeting point before a session, but choose a more precise landmark within it because the whole area will be busy.
Open Practice Day runs inside The O2 on Thursday, September 24 from noon to 2 p.m., with doors at 11 a.m. Team World is scheduled for the first hour and Team Europe for the second. It requires its own ticket. Check the current AXS listing before traveling because the event page still treats sale availability as changeable.
How to get to The O2 for Laver Cup 2026
North Greenwich on the Jubilee line is the nearest station. It leads directly into the Greenwich Peninsula area beside The O2. From central London, the Jubilee line connects through stations including Westminster, Waterloo, London Bridge and Canary Wharf.
The official event guide also lists buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422 and 486 at North Greenwich. Route 188 runs through Waterloo and operates 24 hours. North Greenwich Pier serves river boats, and a taxi rank is outside the station.

TfL's September major-works page did not list a Laver Cup-specific closure when checked. That is not a promise of normal service. Check the TfL status page on the day because faults, lift problems and late engineering changes can appear after publication.
Where to stay for Laver Cup London
Choose the hotel by the return journey after the last session, not by a claim that one neighborhood is universally best.
- Greenwich Peninsula: shortest trip after play, but room choice is limited and event demand can raise prices.
- Canary Wharf: one Jubilee line stop from North Greenwich and useful for a quick return without staying at the venue.
- Waterloo, Southwark or London Bridge: direct Jubilee line access with more central-London sightseeing nearby.
- Westminster or the West End: workable on the Jubilee line, with a longer trip through busy central stations.
Check the final walk from the station as well as the Tube map. A hotel described as "Greenwich" can be several miles from North Greenwich. For a Sunday flight, stay for the tennis first and calculate the airport journey separately; London City, Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted require different routes.
Leave time for the North Greenwich exit
Thousands of spectators can reach North Greenwich at similar times. The station and venue may manage queues after play. Do not buy a late intercity train or airport transfer around the earliest possible match finish.
Before entering The O2:
- Save the hotel route and a backup bus route.
- Pick a meeting point outside the station entrance flow.
- Check the last useful service, not merely the last service of the night.
- Decide whether the group will wait nearby if the first Tube queue is heavy.
The final match length is unknown, and Sunday is especially difficult to time because the score determines how many competitive matches are required. A flexible evening is worth more than a perfectly optimized itinerary that fails when a match runs long.
The O2 bag policy and security screening
The O2 permits one bag per person, no larger than A4 size. Its current general policy says backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags, camera bags and large tote bags are not permitted inside the arena. All visitors pass through security screening.
If a large bag is unavoidable, the venue lists a storage facility outside the main entrance at GBP 10 per bag. Storage closes one hour after the show ends. Do not use it as a routine luggage plan: it adds a queue before entry and another deadline after the session.
Ticket terms also prohibit standalone photo or video cameras. Mobile-phone photography is allowed for personal, non-commercial use, subject to staff instructions. Bring the phone, a compact charging cable, earbuds and only the items that fit the venue rule.
Plan a Laver Cup visit with children or access needs
Every attendee needs a ticket, regardless of age. Anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
