Le Guess Who? takes place in Utrecht from November 5 to 8, 2026. Its twentieth edition has a published timetable, different admission options and a free city programme. Your first decision is which part you want to attend, not how many names you can fit into a day.

The organizer released the timetable on October 8. That update also announced cancellations by Los Delfines del Amor and Lillian Allen. Use the current schedule rather than planning from a saved September lineup poster.

This is a festival for listeners interested in discovering music across genres and places. Some people will spend an evening with a few unfamiliar performers; others will travel for a particular artist or the continuous 24 HOUR DUB programme. Both approaches work better when you leave time for admission, moving between venues and a meal.

Which Le Guess Who pass fits your visit?

Start with the official ticket page, then compare the date and scope of the product before paying. A venue-only pass is a different purchase from a festival day pass.

Admission optionPublished regular priceWhat to check before booking
Four-day festival passEUR215The September 2 announcement reported it sold out; check the approved resale route
Thursday festival passEUR75Current inventory and the Thursday programme
Friday festival passEUR85The September 2 announcement reported it sold out; do not assume a new release
Saturday festival passEUR85Saturday concerts and the special programmes included for that day
Sunday festival passEUR75Sunday concerts and the Sunday portion of 24 HOUR DUB
Separate 24 HOUR DUB full-programme passEUR45Its Saturday-to-Sunday window at KABUL a GoGo
Separate 24 HOUR DUB Saturday Night passEUR25Entry window beginning at 11:30pm on Saturday
Separate 24 HOUR DUB Sunday Morning passEUR15Entry window beginning at 8:30am on Sunday

These are the organizer's published 2026 rates, including service costs, not a live stock display. The September 2 announcement named the two sold-out pass types, while the October 8 update says limited tickets remain. Open the current shop before arranging a nonrefundable trip.

CJP, U-pas and low-income ticket options have separate eligibility conditions. Do not choose a discounted product merely because its price appears in the shop. A donated ticket is also a different product from buying admission for yourself.

For resale, follow the organizer's TicketSwap link instead of buying a screenshot from an unknown account. A message saying someone has a spare pass does not establish that you will receive a valid ticket. The festival FAQ says there is no organizer waiting list.

Ticket download and wristband collection are separate steps

The festival FAQ says Ticketlock makes tickets downloadable 48 hours before the festival. Personalize your ticket before attending and keep the confirmation email. If the download fails, contact CM.com ticket support rather than assuming the purchase has disappeared.

With a festival day or four-day pass, collect your wristband in person at TivoliVredenburg, where the published ticketing-area hours are noon to midnight. It must be put on immediately. You cannot send a friend to collect it or choose another festival venue for pickup.

A venue-only pass goes directly to its programme venue, according to the FAQ. Read the instructions on that purchase rather than adding a needless trip to the festival wristband desk.

If you arrive in Utrecht shortly before a performance, the train's arrival time is not your concert arrival time. Account for getting out of the station, collecting the wristband where required, storing luggage and reaching the room. Plan this sequence before selecting your first set.

Does a Saturday pass cover all of 24 HOUR DUB?

The full 24 HOUR DUB programme runs at KABUL a GoGo from 4pm on Saturday, November 7, until 4pm on Sunday, November 8.

The organizer distinguishes these admission options:

  • A four-day festival pass includes the programme.
  • Saturday and Sunday festival passes cover the programme on their respective days.
  • A separate full-programme venue pass covers the published 4pm-to-4pm window.
  • The separate Saturday Night pass begins at 11:30pm and runs to 4pm Sunday.
  • The separate Sunday Morning pass runs from 8:30am to 4pm Sunday.

Do not treat a Saturday festival pass as a full 24-hour venue pass. If crossing into the Sunday programme is central to your visit, confirm the precise boundary with the organizer before choosing your ticket.

The programme includes dub pioneers and newer artists, with performances such as Scientist's album presentation and The Bug vs Ghost Dubs. Listen to the organizer's playlist and decide whether you want an overnight session or a shorter visit. A 24-hour programme does not require you to stay awake for every hour.

The separate WAS. club night on November 7 includes Eris Drew and Octo Octa, Herve and jannah. A Saturday or four-day festival pass includes that programme; separate venue passes are also offered. Follow its organizer-linked shop and check its own entry conditions.

Can you visit without a paid festival pass?

Yes. U? runs on November 7 and 8 and does not require a festival ticket, according to its own FAQ. It is a city programme with performances and activities in different Utrecht spaces, rather than a free route into every paid Le Guess Who? concert.

The main festival's ticketing information also identifies the Sound & Culture Summit and film programme as freely accessible. Check each session's location and timing before combining them. Free admission is not a promise of unlimited room capacity or access to a different programme afterward.

For a lower-cost day, choose a U? activity that interests you, find another nearby session and leave a proper lunch gap. You do not need to buy a festival pass simply to make that day legitimate. If one particular ticketed performer is the reason for traveling, however, free programming is not a substitute for confirming that show's admission.

How to plan venue hopping without missing the music

Use the official timetable alongside the venue map. Begin with two performances you most want to hear, then build the route around them. For ambient or quieter music, listen to the artists' recordings rather than assuming a church venue tells you the style of the set.

Allow three kinds of time between performances: leaving the current room, traveling to the next building, and entering the next room. A map estimate covers only the middle part. There is no verified number of minutes that guarantees entry to every popular show.

Planning choiceA workable approach
Several sets at TivoliVredenburgCheck the actual room names and allow time to move within the building
A set at EKKO followed by another venueLook up the complete journey before committing to both
A late programme at WAS. or KABUL a GoGoPlan the trip back from that venue, not just from Utrecht Centraal
Two favourite artists overlapChoose which full performance matters more rather than assuming you can catch both
A room is full when you arriveKeep a nearby alternative in the timetable and follow staff instructions

A pass is admission to the relevant programme, not a reserved seat at every performance. Avoid building a day that depends on entering several rooms just before the start. If a performance matters enough to travel for, give it space in your schedule.

For a first visit, a useful pattern is a slower afternoon, food before the evening programme, one anchor performance and another nearby choice. An overnight dub session needs a different following morning from an early concert finish. Set aside recovery time instead of treating every empty timetable square as a mistake.

Solo visitors can make the same plan. Choose a public meeting point and a time with friends or people you already know, and allow everyone to split off for different sets. Do not make seeing your favourite performance depend on keeping a large group together all evening.

Utrecht or Amsterdam: check the night journey before booking

Utrecht is the simplest base when you want to finish a show and return locally. Compare the accommodation's actual address with your final venue, not just a listing that says "Utrecht." Check late check-in arrangements if you will arrive after an evening performance.

Amsterdam can work, but do not rely on the common claim that every train home ends at midnight. NS lists a nightly Randstad night-train corridor linking Utrecht Centraal, Amsterdam Centraal, Schiphol, Leiden, Den Haag HS and Rotterdam. It describes approximately hourly service on those night routes.

That is a network description, not a confirmed departure for your festival night. Search the actual date and time in the NS planner, including the journey from the concert venue to the station and from the destination station to your lodging. Engineering work can alter a route.

Nor does the Randstad corridor mean that every nearby town has the same overnight service. NS lists other late trains with route-specific and weekend conditions. A cheaper room in Amersfoort or another town should be judged against the exact return journey you can make.

If arriving via Schiphol, plan to Utrecht Centraal, not Amsterdam Centraal by habit. Use the NS journey planner for your arrival day and onward connections. Budget enough time for baggage and any transfer before the first performance.

Train admission is separate from festival admission. Follow NS's check-in and check-out guidance for the card or ticket you use. A festival wristband does not pay for a train journey.

Access, children and what to carry

Review the festival's venue-specific accessibility information before choosing a route. It asks visitors seeking support, a stool or wheelchair space to email [email protected] at least two days before the festival. TivoliVredenburg's lift access requires a requested lift pass.

The published EKKO guidance says its narrowest entrance is 0.70 metres and that electronic wheelchairs cannot access the building. For WAS., the accessibility icons and accompanying text contradict each other. Ask the organizer and venue to confirm the facilities you need before booking that part of your evening.

Children's rules also need confirmation: the main FAQ discourages visits below eight and requires parental supervision below fourteen, while the house rules describe free entry up to twelve and advise supervision below sixteen. Ask which conditions apply to your child. WAS. is listed as 21+ and KABUL a GoGo as 18+.

Carry hearing protection, a charged phone and clothing suited to the current forecast. Your outdoor time includes traveling and possibly waiting between indoor shows. Do not take your whole travel suitcase from room to room; arrange somewhere to leave luggage and check storage opening hours.

The house rules allow venues to inspect bags and ask visitors not to bring their own food or drinks inside. They do not establish one universal bag-size limit, so check the specific venue. Ask about required medication or other access-related items beforehand.

If you feel unwell or need help, speak to venue staff. The organizer identifies a Social Safety Team and Hub at TivoliVredenburg. Strobe use can occur, and the rules say artists do not always provide advance notice; contact the festival about a specific performance if that affects your choice.

Useful apps and mobile data for the festival

The official Le Guess Who? and U? app provides a personal timetable, interactive venue map, playlist and programme-update notifications. Use NS for train journeys, and save the address of your lodging in your map app.

Keep a copy of your ticket once it becomes downloadable and save the evening's venue addresses. Screenshots of your plan are useful backup, but they will not show a cancellation or a changed departure. Check for updates before setting off; do not assume the festival app works fully offline.

OpenSim is useful here when you need a Netherlands-specific prepaid data allowance for directions, programme updates and messages between venues, rather than depending on a venue's Wi-Fi. The live OpenSim Netherlands catalogue, checked on October 14, includes a 5GB, 30-day fixed-data plan at USD4.76 with top-up support. That is a plan price, not a daily charge or a festival-ticket bundle.

Choose coverage for the country where the event takes place. Utrecht is in the Netherlands; a product labeled Netherlands Antilles should not be assumed to cover this trip. Check the actual country list when comparing plans.

Home roaming may already be the better choice if your allowance covers the Netherlands at no extra cost. An OpenSim plan does not reserve venue space, guarantee mobile reception in a crowded room or replace offline preparation. Estimate uploads and other use with the travel data calculator, then check phone compatibility and installation timing.

For extra days with children, use our separate Netherlands family travel guide. Keep those activities outside the concert schedule rather than expecting a young child to follow a late-night festival itinerary.

Sources and updates

This guide was checked against the organizer's 2026 timetable announcement, ticketing pages, programme descriptions, access information and current NS guidance on October 14. Use the linked shops for current inventory and the journey planner for actual departures. Recheck before November 5 and whenever the organizer changes a performance, admission condition or venue arrangement.
