Music in Africa reports that the second African Electronic Music Conference is planned for November 17 to 19, immediately before the festival. The same report says further artist, stage, camping, tourism and travel announcements are still expected. Anyone combining the conference and festival should wait for separate access terms before assuming one ticket covers both.

Stay in Jinja

Jinja gives travelers a wider choice of rooms, restaurants and daytime services. The trade-off is the journey to a rural riverside venue after dark. The organizer's venue page describes Kalagala Falls as about 35 minutes from Jinja, but festival traffic and pickup queues can add time.

Public discussions from previous editions repeatedly ask about late shuttles, shared drivers, safe pickups and the cost of returning to town. That pattern is useful for planning, not proof of the 2026 operation. Book a Jinja room only after deciding how every person will get back from the site. Save the driver's name, number, vehicle details and meeting point offline.

Stay in Kampala or Entebbe

Neither is a practical daily base for four nights at Kalagala Falls. Kampala can work before or after the festival, while Entebbe is useful for the airport. Repeating the long road journey after overnight music creates unnecessary fatigue and traffic exposure.

How to reach Kalagala Falls in 2026
