George IV Bridge is the closest bus stop named by the organizer, about 300 metres from the arena area. Use the Lothian Buses journey planner on the day because festival diversions can move a stop or change the final walk.

Edinburgh Trams connect the airport with Princes Street and St Andrew Square. The organizer lists Princes Street as the nearest tram stop, followed by a walk uphill. Buy or activate the correct airport ticket before travel and check live service in the Bus & Tram app.

A 6:15pm performance should finish around 7:45pm. A 9:30pm performance should finish around 11pm. These are approximate finish times based on the organizer's 90-minute running time, not a promise that you will reach Waverley at that time.

What is the Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2026 bag policy?

Small backpacks and bags are allowed, but the organizer refuses bags larger than A3 size. Security staff search bags at entry, so taking less usually means an easier queue.
