Seoul Cafe Show 2026: public days, tickets and COEX travel

Seoul Cafe Show takes place at COEX from November 11-14, 2026. If you are visiting for coffee rather than business, choose the public days, November 13-14. The current early-bird ticket window closes on October 31, so decide which day and pass you need before buying.
This is a coffee exhibition with a professional audience as well as general visitors. A home brewer looking for beans has a different reason to attend from a cafe owner comparing equipment. Both can have a useful visit, but they should not automatically buy the same ticket.
Which days can general visitors attend?
The organizer's Korean visitor rules separate the event into two parts:
| Dates | Audience | Before booking |
|---|---|---|
| November 11-12, Wednesday and Thursday | Buyers, industry workers and prospective business founders | A business card is required; minors and preschool children cannot enter |
| November 13-14, Friday and Saturday | General visitors | Choose a public-day ticket |
An interest in specialty coffee does not establish business-day eligibility. If you are travelling as a tourist, the final two days are the straightforward choice. If you work in the industry, check the registration instructions before making appointments.
The English visitor guide confirms that the 2026 show runs Wednesday to Saturday, rather than the older Thursday-to-Sunday pattern. Do not leave the visit until Sunday, November 15.
| Visit date | Opening hours | Last admission |
|---|---|---|
| November 11-13 | 10:00-18:00 | 17:30 |
| November 14 | 10:00-16:00 | 15:30 |
All times are local to Seoul. Saturday gives you a shorter exhibition day, which matters if you arrive after lunch.
October ticket prices and the three pass types
The current Korean ticket table lists these prices in won:
| Purchase period | One-day pass | All-day pass | Master Blend pass |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 1-31 | KRW20,000 | KRW40,000 | KRW120,000 |
| November 1-8 | KRW22,000 | KRW44,000 | KRW150,000 |
| On site, November 11-14 | KRW25,000 | KRW50,000 | KRW150,000 |
Check the selected ticket and final payment amount on the organizer's booking page. The English site displays dollar amounts with an exchange-rate qualification; do not treat those as a fixed conversion of the won table.
The names need a little care. A one-day pass covers one day and is classified for business or public attendance. The All-day pass covers the event period, not merely a longer visit on one calendar day. Its description includes both business and public dates, but that should not be read as permission to ignore the business-day admission rules. Ask the organizer if your circumstances are unclear.
For a casual visit, begin with the one-day public option. Consider a longer pass only after deciding what you would return for. A low price per day is not a saving if the extra dates do not fit your trip.
Does Master Blend include every coffee workshop?
Do not buy it on that assumption. The World Coffee Forum registration page describes Master Blend as combining the forum with Cafe Show admission, while stating that SCA education sessions are sold separately. The exhibition's English guide uses the narrower wording of selected forum sessions.
Before paying for the upgrade, identify the named session you want and confirm that it is included in your selected pass. Also check its language, date, capacity and any additional reservation. A session taking place during the four exhibition days does not by itself establish that your exhibition ticket covers it.
If your purpose is to taste coffee and speak with roasters, a public-day exhibition ticket may fit better than a conference upgrade. If you need a particular professional session, its current booking terms should decide the purchase.
What coffee enthusiasts can plan around
The organizer's October programme announcements include an October 8 Coffee Alley and Bakery Alley lineup: 78 roasteries and five bakery brands, 83 brands in total. That is a useful starting point for visitors who want to discover producers rather than spend the whole day browsing equipment.
Use the organizer's Coffee Alley page and exhibitor list to make a short list before arrival. For each roaster, note what interests you: a lighter roast, a particular origin, beans to brew at home or a conversation about a brewing method. Leave room for an unfamiliar producer instead of trying to visit every stand.
Ask whether coffee is being served for tasting, sold as a drink or offered through a scheduled session. Do not assume that admission includes unlimited samples or that every exhibitor sells small retail bags. If you want beans to take home, ask about the roast date and available bag size before buying.
A workable visit is to start with your priority stands, take a meal break away from the tasting circuit, then return to the part of the exhibition that held your interest. This is suggested pacing, not a timed organizer programme. Check re-entry conditions before leaving the controlled exhibition area for lunch.
Leave suitcases out of your exhibition plan
The event prohibits suitcases and folding carts on all four days. That makes a direct airport-to-exhibition visit less convenient than it first appears.
Arrange luggage storage before joining an entry queue. Seoul's official COEX visitor listing, updated September 21, lists baggage storage near the Hall A and Hall B escalators. It does not guarantee an available locker, a suitable size or festival-day opening hours. Your accommodation may be a more predictable place to leave a large case; confirm that arrangement directly.
Bring only what you need for the visit and what you can comfortably carry afterward. If you expect to buy beans or equipment, check the exhibition's current bag conditions and your airline allowance rather than bringing a prohibited wheeled cart.
Getting to COEX and finding the exhibition halls
COEX is a large complex. Reaching the mall, a library landmark or an aquarium entrance is not the same as reaching your exhibition registration desk. The event uses Halls A-D; save the current show floor plan and follow event signs after entering the complex.
The venue's subway directions show connected passages through Millennium Plaza and ASEM Plaza. Visit Seoul identifies Samseong Station on Line 2, with Exit 6 serving COEX. Choose your route from your actual accommodation and allow time inside the building, especially if you have a booked meeting or session.
For an airport transfer, use the COEX airport transport page as a starting point, then verify the operator's current departure, terminal and boarding instructions. Keep the bus ticket and the exhibition ticket separate. Do not assume an airport bus purchase includes a chosen seat or that every airline offers city-terminal check-in.
Avoid scheduling a session right against a flight departure. Your plan needs time for retrieving luggage, reaching the correct airport terminal and completing the airline's check-in process, not just the bus journey.
Access, children and breaks
Visit Seoul lists lifts, accessible pathways and toilets at COEX. For a visitor using a wheelchair or stroller, ask the event team for the entrance, registration route and facilities serving the specific hall. A building-level facilities list cannot confirm the layout of every temporary stand or session room.
Business days exclude minors. For public days, check the child's ticket requirement and any programme-specific age limit before buying. General admission does not mean a long, busy exhibition will suit every child. For a wider trip, the South Korea with kids guide helps separate the exhibition day from family sightseeing.
Keep your schedule flexible enough for a proper meal and a seated break. Check the forecast before leaving your accommodation; an indoor event still involves the journey, station exits and any outdoor queue.
Useful phone preparation for a Seoul coffee trip
NAVER Map's official app listing documents English navigation, public-transport directions and saved places. Install it before travelling, find COEX and your accommodation, and test a route while you have a reliable connection.
Save the ticket confirmation, event floor plan and accommodation address separately on your phone. Keep a screenshot of the route and meeting point as a backup, but refresh live transit directions when you travel. A saved place or image is not a live service-status update.
Mobile data is useful between the venue and the rest of Seoul: checking a revised route, finding a roaster's shop or messaging the person you are meeting. At our October 15 check, OpenSim's South Korea 5GB plan cost USD5.40 for 30 days and was eligible for top-up. The South Korea plan page has the current options and checkout terms.
That fixed allowance can suit a visitor who wants data beyond the exhibition building without buying a roaming day pass solely for this outing. Compare it with your home operator's actual South Korea allowance first; an included roaming package may already cover your needs. OpenSim does not provide exhibition admission, reserve a bus seat or guarantee service inside a crowded hall.
Use the travel data calculator if the show is part of a longer trip. Check phone compatibility and the installation timing guide before departure rather than attempting setup in an entry queue.
Sources, photograph and update checks
Dates, eligibility and ticket information were checked against the organizer's English and Korean visitor pages on October 15, 2026. Forum inclusions should be checked against the selected session and pass before payment. Recheck the guide when the October ticket window closes, before travelling and whenever the organizer changes admission or transport instructions.
