TransNusa launched its nonstop Bali to Phuket service on September 9, 2026. The new flight links Denpasar's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport with Phuket International Airport four times a week, with daily service planned from October 3.

The airline plans to make the route daily on October 3. Use the September 9 operating times below, not the earlier July announcement, and recheck the booking before travel. The current Bali to Phuket schedule

The times are local. Bali is one hour ahead of Phuket, so the published schedule represents about four hours and five minutes outbound and four hours on the return. Do not calculate the journey from the clock times alone.

TransNusa says it is operating the route with a 174-seat Airbus A320. The airline's September 9 launch announcement is the newest source for the timetable. Its July announcement listed different departure times and a different introductory fare. That earlier information has been superseded for planning purposes.

Check the airline's booking result and airport flight status again before leaving for the terminal. A route launch confirms that service has begun; it is not a guarantee that every future flight will operate at its original time.

What the nonstop changes for a two-island trip

A direct flight reduces the number of moving parts between Bali and Phuket. There is no planned connection airport, no second boarding gate and no need to build a self-transfer between separate flights. That can make a Bali and southern Thailand itinerary easier to arrange.

It remains an international journey. Travelers departing Bali still need enough time for airline check-in, document checks, security and outbound immigration. On arrival in Phuket, the airport's published sequence includes passport control, baggage collection and customs before ground transport.

Do not book an inflexible ferry, tour or domestic connection close to the scheduled arrival. The route is new, immigration queues vary, bags can take time, and Phuket traffic can lengthen the trip after leaving the airport. Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card at the right time

Thailand's Immigration Bureau says non-Thai nationals entering the country must submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card, unless an official exemption applies. TransNusa's launch announcement promotes fare products with different inclusions. It says the SEAT product includes 20 kg of checked baggage, while FLEXI-PRO includes 30 kg plus other benefits. That does not prove every booking includes the same allowance or that a promotional fare remains available.

Read the baggage line in the final booking summary and issued itinerary. Check cabin baggage as well as checked baggage, particularly if the trip includes another airline, a domestic flight or a boat with its own limits. The strictest separately booked operator can determine what is practical for the whole itinerary.

Keep medicine, documents, chargers and valuables in the cabin bag within the permitted rules. Save the bag receipt after check-in. If the allowance shown by the airline changes between search and payment, resolve it before paying rather than relying on a launch article or screenshot.

What to do after landing in Phuket

Phuket International Airport's official arrival guide sends international passengers through passport control, baggage reclaim and customs. Follow the terminal signs and use the airport's live channels for any same-day change.

After customs, choose transport based on the accommodation's location and arrival conditions. The airport maintains an official transportation page rather than one permanent price or pickup instruction for every service. Check that page and the airport's signs on arrival. Do not accept a social-media post as proof of today's pickup point, fare or operating hours.

Before entering a vehicle, confirm the destination, price or meter arrangement, payment method and where the driver will meet you. Keep the hotel name and address saved in both English and Thai if the property provides it. Late arrivals should confirm reception hours and what happens if a flight delay pushes the journey beyond check-in.

Returning from Phuket to Bali

The return flight reaches Bali at 8:35 p.m. on the published schedule. Build the evening around international arrival formalities and the trip onward from the airport, not just the landing time.

Indonesia's immigration site says international passengers use the All Indonesia arrival declaration. Government entry rules and visa eligibility depend on nationality and purpose, so check the official Indonesian immigration site before the return. A valid stay in Thailand does not establish permission to enter Indonesia.

Travelers returning to Bali on a visa or stay permission should verify that leaving Indonesia did not end it. If the answer affects the trip, use the official immigration channel rather than an airline route announcement or another traveler's experience.
