Family buying separate travel data plans together at an airport

TRAVeSIM is running two September 2026 promotions: a conditional refund when an eligible plan records no data use despite correct settings, and an automatic discount when several copies of the same plan are bought together.

The offers run for purchases made from September 1 at 12:00 to September 30 at 23:59 Japan time. The refund is not a general satisfaction guarantee, and the group discount does not apply when different destinations or packages are mixed in one basket.

The traveler answer: two matching plans receive 10% off and three or more receive 15% off. The refund requires zero recorded usage, a real connection attempt, correct settings, screenshots and a request made before the selected plan expires.

What the September TRAVeSIM campaign includes

TRAVeSIM's campaign page separates the two benefits.

BenefitPublished ruleTraveler check
Connection refundPurchase price refunded when all eligibility conditions are metContact support within the plan's validity period
Two matching eSIMs10% automatic discountBoth must be the same plan in one order
Three or more matching eSIMs15% automatic discountEvery discounted copy must be the same plan
Coupon purchaseCan still qualify for the connection refundThis does not mean coupons stack with the group discount
Purchase currenciesJPY, THB and USD routes are includedVND purchases are excluded

All plans are described as eligible during the purchase window. A plan must also be used within 90 days of purchase for the campaign process.

The full refund requires zero recorded data

The phrase "full refund" has a narrow technical test. TRAVeSIM says the customer must attempt to connect in an eligible country or region and contact support within the purchased plan's validity period. The provider must be able to confirm zero data use.

The customer must share screenshots so support can inspect the settings. A refund applies only when there is no settings problem and the service still does not connect. A locked phone or a device that lacks eSIM support is not eligible.

This means a line that briefly connects and consumes data may fail the zero-use requirement even if performance later becomes poor. Contact support while the trip and plan are still active. Do not delete the profile or reset network settings before saving the requested screenshots.

Refund timing depends on the payment method

TRAVeSIM says credit-card refunds can take about one to two months to appear. A PromptPay purchase is refunded to a Thai bank account and is expected to take about one week.

Exchange-rate movements can also make the amount received differ from the original card statement. The campaign describes a refund of the eligible purchase price, but it cannot control a card issuer's currency conversion.

Keep the order confirmation, failed-connection time, destination, screenshots, support messages and refund decision until the credit appears.

The group discount only covers identical plans

TRAVeSIM applies the multi-purchase reduction automatically when one order contains two or more copies of the same plan. Two copies receive 10% off. Three or more receive 15% off.

A family buying Japan, South Korea and Thailand plans in one basket does not meet the matching-plan condition. Neither does a couple choosing different allowances or validity periods for the same destination.

The group promotion cannot be combined with regular coupons or sales. VND purchases are excluded. If only some profiles later meet the refund conditions, TRAVeSIM calculates each eligible refund from the amount actually paid after the group reduction.

Separate profiles can be safer than one shared hotspot

Buying one plan per traveler costs more than sharing a single phone's hotspot, but it avoids a single point of failure when the group separates. Each person can use maps, messaging and bookings without remaining near the hotspot owner.

The decision depends on the exact plan. Confirm whether hotspot use is allowed, how much high-speed data each person needs and whether every phone is unlocked and compatible. A group discount is wasted if one device cannot install its profile.

TRAVeSIM or Roaming eSIM for a September trip?

TRAVeSIM's strongest case is a group buying identical plans while its campaign is live. The conditional refund also gives first-time users a defined process when a correctly configured profile records no usage.

Roaming eSIM lets each traveler choose a route and allowance independently. Its current FLASH22 campaign guide records a 22% code through September 15, 2026, subject to the checkout accepting it for the selected order.

πŸ† Roaming eSIM wins on the headline September saving: 22% is higher than TRAVeSIM's 15% group maximum, and travelers do not have to buy three identical plans to test the code. TRAVeSIM wins when a matching group values its published zero-use refund process. In both cases, the final checkout and plan fit matter more than the percentage alone.

Ten questions travelers ask about the TRAVeSIM campaign

When does the TRAVeSIM campaign end?

Eligible purchases must be completed by September 30, 2026 at 23:59 Japan time.

Is every failed connection refunded?

No. The plan must meet all conditions, including zero recorded use, correct settings and a timely support request.

When must I ask for the refund?

Contact TRAVeSIM within the selected plan's validity period. A seven-day plan has a much shorter claim window than the campaign month.

What proof does TRAVeSIM request?

The campaign says screenshots of the phone's settings are required so support can check the configuration.

Is a carrier-locked phone covered?

No. A failure caused by an incompatible or locked device is excluded.

Can a coupon order qualify for the refund?

Yes, according to the campaign page. The refund is based on the eligible amount actually paid.

Can I combine a coupon with the group discount?

TRAVeSIM says the multi-purchase discount cannot be combined with regular coupons or sales.

Can family members choose different plans?

They can buy different plans, but those copies do not qualify for the matching-plan group discount.

How quickly will a refund arrive?

TRAVeSIM estimates one to two months for credit cards and about one week for a qualifying Thai-bank refund from PromptPay.

Is TRAVeSIM's 15% group offer better than FLASH22?

FLASH22 has the larger percentage through September 15. TRAVeSIM may still suit a matching group that values its specific zero-use refund process.

TRAVeSIM campaign source record

TRAVeSIM's English campaign page establishes the purchase window, refund proof, zero-use test, eligible currencies, payment timing and group rules. BerryMobile's August 31 announcement confirms the campaign publication record and the same 10% and 15% tiers.

Update policy: We will revise this page if TRAVeSIM changes the September deadline, refund proof, zero-use test, eligible currencies, matching-plan rule, discount tiers or payment timing.
