Trifa offers first-time eSIM buyers 30% off through September

Trifa is offering eligible first-time buyers 30% off its eSIM products through September 30, 2026. The campaign began on July 13 after the Japanese travel eSIM app started a television advertising campaign.
The percentage is straightforward, but access is less conventional than entering a public code. Trifa says eligible users see the discounted price through an in-app campaign pop-up and must purchase within seven days of that display. The offer can also end early if its budget is exhausted.
The traveler answer: Trifa's 30% headline saving is larger than Roaming eSIM's 22% FLASH22 campaign. It is limited to eligible first-time Trifa buyers, excludes non-eSIM services and may finish before September 30. Compare the actual plan and final checkout total, not the percentage alone.
The Trifa campaign terms that matter
Trifa's July 13 announcement lists these conditions:
- the campaign runs from July 13 through September 30, 2026;
- it applies to first-time purchasers;
- all Trifa eSIM products are included;
- eligible users see a campaign pop-up and an already discounted in-app price;
- the purchase must be completed within seven days after the offer is shown;
- lounge passes, travel insurance, VPN and immigration-support products are excluded; and
- the campaign can change or end without notice, including when the budget limit is reached.
No public coupon code is required in the announcement. If a third-party coupon page lists a code for this campaign, do not rely on it unless the Trifa app recognizes it and the final total changes.
September 30 is a maximum, not a guarantee
The published end date is September 30, but Trifa reserves the right to finish the offer when its campaign budget is used. A traveler planning to buy later in the month should reopen the app rather than assuming the promotion remains available.
The seven-day window creates a second deadline. If the campaign pop-up appeared on an earlier date, the personal purchase window may close before September 30. Take a screenshot showing the display date, eligible plan and discounted total.
The release does not define a particular time zone for the September 30 cutoff. Complete a time-sensitive purchase well before the final day and verify the reduction before payment.
First-time buyer eligibility needs an account check
Trifa describes the offer for first-time purchasers and says eligible people receive the in-app display. The announcement does not resolve every edge case, including:
- whether a previously refunded or failed order counts as a first purchase;
- whether an account created earlier but never used remains eligible;
- whether the same person can qualify through a new device or account;
- whether the discount applies to a gift purchase; or
- whether an existing user who only bought a non-eSIM service qualifies.
Do not create duplicate accounts to force eligibility. Use the account that will manage the eSIM and ask Trifa support about an unclear history before paying.
The offer covers eSIMs, not every Trifa travel service
Trifa sells or promotes adjacent services inside its travel app, but the campaign explicitly excludes lounge passes, overseas travel insurance, VPN and immigration-procedure support. A mixed basket may therefore contain both discounted and full-price items.
Review the line items separately. A 30% label on an eligible eSIM does not mean the same reduction applies to the entire order. Taxes, currency conversion or other charges can also affect the amount ultimately paid.
The promotion does not change the selected plan's coverage, allowance, validity or technical limits. A poor-fit plan remains a poor fit after a discount.
Compare plan details before comparing percentages
Start with the itinerary. Check every country, the required number of days and a realistic data allowance. Then compare the final prices of plans that solve the same trip.
For each candidate, look for:
- named countries and available networks;
- fixed data or any daily high-speed allowance;
- reduced speed and refresh timing on unlimited products;
- activation trigger and validity;
- hotspot or tethering rules;
- calls, SMS and local-number availability;
- top-up eligibility; and
- cancellation and refund terms.
A 30% discount on a short allowance can still cost more than a suitable lower-priced plan elsewhere. It may also be excellent value when the underlying Trifa package fits the route and the in-app total is lower.
Trifa 30% or Roaming eSIM FLASH22?
The two campaigns are not identical. Trifa publishes a higher 30% saving for eligible first-time buyers through September 30, subject to its seven-day in-app window and budget. Roaming eSIM supplied the FLASH22 code for 22% off an eligible checkout through September 15, 2026. Its unpublished eligibility, minimum, reuse and stacking rules still need checkout confirmation.
Trifa has the larger percentage for a qualifying first purchase. Roaming eSIM provides a public code and public destination pages where travelers can compare current package fields before entering checkout.
π Roaming eSIM wins on a simpler comparison path: inspect the destination, allowance and validity on the public plan page, then test
FLASH22at checkout. Trifa wins on the headline percentage when its app confirms 30% for an eligible first-time buyer and the underlying plan fits.
Neither discount proves lower total cost. Compare the same destination, allowance, validity and features in the same currency when possible.
Four destinations to price before using a campaign
Travelers can compare a Japan Roaming eSIM, South Korea Roaming eSIM or Thailand Roaming eSIM against the matching Trifa checkout.
For a wider route, review the live country list on the Global 120 Areas Roaming eSIM. The full Roaming eSIM FLASH22 guide owns the branded code terms and should be checked before September 15.
Ten questions before using the Trifa discount
Is the Trifa discount really 30%?
The first-party announcement says eligible first-time buyers receive 30% off eSIM products. Confirm the reduction in the app before paying.
Do I need a coupon code?
The campaign is described as an in-app offer with the discounted price displayed automatically, not as a public code.
Who qualifies?
Trifa says first-time purchasers. The in-app pop-up is the practical eligibility signal, and unclear purchase histories should be checked with support.
When does the campaign end?
The published end date is September 30, 2026, but it may end earlier if the campaign budget is exhausted or Trifa changes it.
What is the seven-day rule?
Eligible users must purchase within seven days after the campaign display appears. That personal window can close before the overall end date.
Does it discount travel insurance or lounge access?
No. Trifa explicitly excludes lounge passes, travel insurance, VPN and immigration-support products.
Does it apply to every destination and data size?
The announcement says all eSIM products are covered. Availability still depends on what the app offers for the selected trip.
Can I combine it with another coupon?
The checked release does not publish a stacking rule. Use only the discount shown in the final order total.
Will the discount apply to a later top-up?
The announcement is for a first purchase and does not promise a discounted top-up. Check the top-up screen separately.
Is 30% automatically better than FLASH22?
No. It is a larger percentage, but only the final price and plan fit reveal the better purchase. FLASH22 also ends earlier, on September 15.
Trifa campaign source record
Trifa's July 13 campaign announcement establishes the 30% saving, first-purchase eligibility, September 30 end date, seven-day display window, eSIM-only scope, exclusions and early-end condition. Trifa's general coupon terms provide the provider's standing coupon-use framework but do not replace the campaign-specific conditions.
Update policy: We will update this page if Trifa ends the campaign, changes eligibility, adds a code, alters the seven-day window, changes exclusions or publishes additional checkout terms.
