AGM Mobile is showing its new X7 series and P3 Compact tablet at IFA Berlin from September 4 to 8, 2026. For travelers, the notable specification is not the thermal camera or camping light. The AGM X7 Pro lists eSIM plus dual SIM, allowing a compatible travel data profile to sit alongside another mobile line.
The phone is not yet a routine retail purchase everywhere. AGM's global store labels the X7 Pro as a preorder and separates a US T-Mobile-only version from a rest-of-world version. Buyers should settle the hardware variant and supported bands before choosing any eSIM.

AGM's IFA announcement covers several rugged products. The X7 Pro is the travel-relevant flagship, with a 10,000mAh battery, Android 16, IP68 and IP69K ratings, MIL-STD-810H wording, wireless charging, a thermal camera, eSIM and dual SIM.
The company is also presenting an X7 model without the Pro thermal feature and the compact P3 tablet line. Travelers should not transfer one model's specifications to another. The product name and regional store page need to match the device in the cart.
IFA visitors can see the hardware in person, but a trade-show display is not the same as broad stock availability. AGM's current X7 Pro page shows a USD 599 preorder price and two regional variants.
The US and rest-of-world versions are a buying decision
AGM labels one option “US T-Mobile Only Version” and the other “Rest of the World Version.” That wording deserves attention before purchase.
A phone can support eSIM at the operating-system level and still have limited radio compatibility with a destination network. The wrong variant may miss useful LTE or 5G bands, and a carrier-specific model may have activation or service limits outside its intended market.

The 10,000mAh battery helps, but network use still varies
A large battery is useful on a trail, job site or long travel day. Real endurance depends on signal strength, screen brightness, thermal-camera use, navigation, hotspot sharing and background apps. A phone searching repeatedly for a weak network can consume more power than the capacity figure suggests.
Download maps, tickets and emergency information before leaving coverage. A rugged handset and large battery do not create a signal in a remote area. Carry a separate emergency method where the route requires one.
The X7 Pro's hotspot capability was not established by the checked launch material. Even when Android exposes tethering, the selected eSIM package must permit it.
