Ultra Japan 2026 guide: set times, tickets and AnyPASS

Ultra Japan takes place at Odaiba Ultra Park in Tokyo on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026. Doors open at 10 a.m., music starts at 11 a.m. and the published timetable runs until 9 p.m. on both days. The three-stage set times are now live, so the useful decision is no longer simply which day to buy. It is which closing set you want, where the clashes fall, and how much time to leave for a digital-ticket and ID check.

Saturday's Main Stage ends with Zedd B2B Knock2, while Peggy Gou closes Resistance. Sunday places Alesso against Sara Landry in the final slot. A one-day ticket is enough for a clear genre preference; a two-day ticket makes more sense when the names you want are divided across both days. Every visitor must be at least 18 and carry an accepted original photo ID.

The short plan: decide around the final clash first, save the official set-time page, activate AnyPASS on the phone number used for the order, distribute companion tickets before reaching Odaiba and carry a physical passport or another accepted original ID. Travel by rail, keep the bag to one item with combined dimensions no greater than 90 cm, and agree on a meeting point that still works when mobile service is slow.

This guide was checked on September 15, 2026, four days before the event. Tickets, artists, entry procedures and train service can still change. Recheck the official Ultra Japan site and the relevant rail operator before leaving.

Ultra Japan 2026 dates, venue and opening times

Odaiba Ultra Park is an outdoor temporary venue. There is no fixed arena seat to find and no roof over the whole event. Footwear, rain protection and a route between stages matter more than choosing a seating block.

The policy permits wheelchairs but asks wheelchair users to contact the organizer in advance. Some areas may be restricted and a companion needs a separate ticket. Confirm the arrangements directly rather than assuming every viewing position, surface or queue is step-free.

The official set-time page is the final reference. Save it rather than relying on an old lineup graphic in a search result. Ultra Japan published the running order after many ticket guides had already been written.

Saturday, September 19

The hardest Saturday decision starts at 7 p.m. Peggy Gou begins while Afrojack B2B R3HAB still has time left. Zedd B2B Knock2 starts at 7:45 p.m., and Kotonohouse begins on the Park stage at 8:20 p.m. Staying for complete sets means choosing one closing lane rather than moving repeatedly.

For Main Stage, arrive in time for Maddix, HALO and Yousuke Yukimatsu before the two closing back-to-backs. For Resistance, Mogwaa leads into The Martinez Brothers and Peggy Gou. Ultra Park is the better choice for a longer run of Japanese club acts and the face-to-face setup.

Sunday, September 20

Sunday has an equally firm final choice. Sara Landry starts at 7 p.m.; Alesso starts at 7:45 p.m. Moving between them gives part of each performance, not both complete sets.

A Main Stage Sunday can run from Trym through Timmy Trumpet, WORSHIP, Alan Walker and Alesso with minimal movement. Resistance is the more coherent route for Lilly Palmer, Joris Voorn and Sara Landry. Pick the run with the most full sets you care about, then allow one planned crossover earlier in the afternoon.

Which Ultra Japan ticket should you buy?

The official ticket page listed these products when checked on September 15:

These are current listed prices, not a guarantee that inventory will remain. The sale closes when the allocation is reached, and buyer-requested cancellations and refunds are not offered.

The two-day GA ticket costs JPY 4,000 less than buying two current one-day GA tickets separately. That saving matters only if you genuinely plan to attend both days. A visitor focused on Zedd B2B Knock2 or Peggy Gou can buy Saturday; someone focused on Alesso or Sara Landry can buy Sunday.

PGA is primarily a queue, restroom and viewing-area decision. It does not remove stage clashes. Confirm the exact benefits in the selected checkout rather than assuming that a premium ticket includes food, drinks or backstage access.

The U-23 rule uses your event-day age

The U-23 ticket is for visitors under 23, with the event itself restricted to people aged 18 or older. If staff determine that the holder is 23 or older at entry, admission can be refused without a refund. Do not select it because you were 22 when you ordered if you will be 23 by September 19.

AnyPASS setup for international visitors

Ultra Japan uses digital tickets. The standard process requires an AnyPASS-compatible smartphone, the phone number registered during purchase and SMS authentication. Each person presents one ticket, so the purchaser should distribute companion tickets before event day. Each companion needs AnyPASS to receive the distributed ticket.

1. Install AnyPASS on the phone associated with the order number.
2. Complete SMS verification while that number can still receive a code.
3. Confirm that the Ultra Japan ticket appears in the app.
4. Distribute every transferable companion ticket to the correct phone.
5. Ask each companion to open the received ticket.
6. Charge every phone and pack a small power bank within the bag limit.

Do not cancel or change the registered mobile number before the event. A travel data plan helps the live app load, but it does not replace access to the number used for AnyPASS registration.

Do not depend on a QR screenshot

There is a conflict in the organizer's English policy: one line says to present a printout or screenshot, while the same page says tickets require AnyPASS. AnyPASS's own current entry guidance is clearer: its QR code refreshes, and a screenshot is not accepted for the normal app flow.

Use the live AnyPASS app unless the inbound-only sales channel sends you a different, explicit instruction for your order. Ultra Japan says inbound purchasers receive their own issuance email. Keep that message available offline, but do not substitute an old QR image for a functioning app without a direct instruction.

Ultra Japan age and ID rules

Everyone must be at least 18 on the event date. People still enrolled in high school or an equivalent school are not admitted even if they have turned 18.

International visitors should carry a current physical passport. The policy also lists a driver's licence, residence card and several Japan-issued identity documents. Expired documents, photocopies and phone images are not accepted. The organizer checks companions as well as purchasers.

Visitors aged 18 or 19 receive a different wristband from visitors aged 20 or older. Japan's alcohol and smoking age is 20, and staff check the relevant wristband at points of sale and smoking areas.

Keep the ID with you after entry. Re-entry involves another wristband, bag and ID check. For a two-day ticket, the same wristband must stay attached across both days; lost or damaged wristbands are not replaced.

Ultra Japan bag policy

The current policy allows one item of baggage per person, with length, width and height adding up to no more than 90 cm. That is a combined measurement, not 90 cm on each side.

The organizer prohibits cans, glass bottles, PET bottles, umbrellas, coolers, chairs, parasols, mats, fireworks, dangerous items, pets and oversized baggage. There is a bag check at entry.

The organizer says lockers are limited, while parts of its general FAQ still describe arrangements from 2018. Do not build a 2026 plan around an old locker size or price. Leave suitcases at the hotel or a station facility. For rain, use a lightweight poncho rather than an umbrella.

How to reach Odaiba Ultra Park

There is no event parking. The two practical rail approaches are the Yurikamome and Rinkai Line.

Yurikamome to Aomi

Aomi is station U10. The operator's station diagram shows elevators, escalators, stairs and wide gates, though live service information should still be checked. Yurikamome links Aomi with Shimbashi and Toyosu.

This route is useful from Ginza, Shimbashi, Shiodome or Toyosu. Expect crowd controls and let a full train go rather than forcing a boarding after 9 p.m.

Rinkai Line to Tokyo Teleport

Tokyo Teleport is the Rinkai Line station for Odaiba. The operator lists standard travel times of 18 minutes from Shibuya, 24 minutes from Shinjuku and 29 minutes from Ikebukuro, with some trains continuing on the JR Saikyo Line. Not every service continues to every JR destination, so read the departure board.

Tokyo Teleport works well from the western side of central Tokyo or via Osaki. Its walk to the event area is longer than the last leg from Aomi, so allow time for the station exit, route finding and entry queue.

Plan the complete return, not only the first train

The current Rinkai weekend timetable shows departures through the 9 and 10 p.m. hours. Yurikamome's published last-train guide runs much later than the event finish. That does not guarantee an easy connection: regulated exit, a crowded walk and the last train on your onward line all add time.

Check the complete trip to the hotel before entering. The last train from Odaiba is not necessarily the last useful connection to a distant suburb. Save one alternate route and enough payment balance for it.

A workable festival-day plan

Open AnyPASS on every phone before leaving the hotel. Check the official timetable for changes, download an Odaiba map and pin Aomi, Tokyo Teleport, the hotel and one precise meeting point.

You do not need to stand at the gate at 10 a.m. to see an afternoon and evening run. Match arrival to the first complete set you want, then add time for the walk, bag screening, ID check and wristband. For a 3 p.m. artist, reaching the relevant station around 1:45 to 2 p.m. is more realistic than arriving at 2:45.

Do one orientation walk while the site is less crowded. Later, switch stages only for a named priority. A timetable with six fragments may look efficient but usually means hearing transitions and trying to relocate friends instead of watching full performances.

At the final clash, agree before separating whether everyone returns to the same exit point. Do not depend on a message sent at 8:55 p.m. reaching every phone immediately.

Apps to prepare before Ultra Japan

Prepare AnyPASS for tickets, the Ultra Worldwide app or official Ultra Japan channels for event updates, an offline map, and a live rail planner such as Japan Travel by NAVITIME. The Japan Tourism Agency's Safety tips app provides disaster notifications in supported languages. Add a weather app with rain radar for the outdoor site.

An offline map can get you to Aomi or Tokyo Teleport when service slows, but it cannot show a last-minute set change or rail disruption. Save stable details, then use live data for changes.

Mobile data for AnyPASS, trains and Tokyo

The high-consequence task is opening the ticket, not streaming from the crowd. Charge the phone, finish SMS registration in advance and open AnyPASS before joining the queue. Mobile networks can slow at major events, so retain the organizer's inbound email and hotel address offline.

For an international visitor with a compatible unlocked phone, a Japan Roaming eSIM plan can be installed before departure while the usual SIM remains available where the device supports dual SIM. The public catalog checked on September 15 contained 43 Japan data plans. Current records named KDDI or au, NTT Docomo, Rakuten Mobile and SoftBank across different packages, and 40 of the 43 records supported top-up. The selected package determines its network, allowance, validity, speed generation and top-up status.

The advantage over solving connectivity at the venue is preparation. You can download the ticket app, test data, save the route and arrive with an independent data option ready. That does not guarantee capacity in the Ultra crowd, provide a Japanese phone number or replace the original number needed for AnyPASS SMS.

Which day has the better lineup?

Saturday suits visitors prioritizing Zedd B2B Knock2, Afrojack B2B R3HAB or Peggy Gou. Sunday suits visitors prioritizing Alesso, Alan Walker, WORSHIP or Sara Landry. The better day is the one with the most complete sets in one stage lane.

What time does Ultra Japan finish?

The published set times run until 9 p.m. on both days. Regulated exit and station crowds can delay the return journey.

Can I enter with a ticket screenshot?

Do not rely on one for standard AnyPASS entry. AnyPASS says its QR refreshes and a screenshot is not accepted. Inbound-only purchasers should follow their separate issuance email.

Does every person need AnyPASS?

Under the standard process, yes. Each attendee presents one ticket, and companions need AnyPASS to receive distributed tickets.

Can I use a travel eSIM number for AnyPASS?

Only if the chosen plan actually provides a number and receives the required SMS, which ordinary travel data plans often do not. Keep access to the number registered at purchase.

Is a passport copy accepted?

No. The policy rejects expired IDs, copies and images. An international visitor should carry the original current passport.

Can a 17-year-old attend with an adult?

No. The minimum age is 18. High-school and equivalent students are also excluded even if they are already 18.

Can I leave and re-enter?

The current policy allows re-entry after staff check the wristband, original ID and bag again. Without the wristband or ID, re-entry can be refused without a refund.

Can I bring a bottle or umbrella?

No. The prohibited list includes cans, glass bottles, PET bottles and umbrellas. Use a permitted rain layer and buy drinks inside under the venue rules.

Is there parking at Ultra Japan?

No event parking is provided. Use Aomi on the Yurikamome or Tokyo Teleport on the Rinkai Line and check the full return route.

Final Ultra Japan checklist

Choose the closing set first, buy the correct day, complete AnyPASS and ticket distribution, carry the original ID and keep the bag within the 90 cm combined limit. Save the set times, Odaiba map, hotel route and meeting point offline. Recheck artist changes, weather and rail service on the morning of the event.
