The final Live From Wythenshawe Park concerts take place from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30, 2026. Pulp play Friday, Courteeners headline Saturday, and The Prodigy close the series on Sunday. Music ends at 10:30 p.m. each night.

The journey home needs more thought than the journey in. Moor Road is the useful tram stop, while Wythenshawe Park and Baguley stops close from 9 p.m. The dedicated shuttles begin returning from Palatine Road at 10 p.m., and roads around the park close later in the evening.

The short answer: buy the GBP 8 Bee Network event travel pass before the show if you plan to combine a tram, bus or shuttle. For the simplest city-center trip, take the direct shuttle from Aytoun Street and Minshull Street. Carry a small non-rucksack bag no larger than A4, bring a clear plastic water bottle under 500 ml, and save the ticket and return route before entering the park.

This guide was checked on August 27, 2026 against the promoter, Transport for Greater Manchester and current local reporting. Set times, ticket inventory, weather and transport can still change on the day.

The three nights do not share one timetable. Pulp has later doors and a shorter support bill. Courteeners and The Prodigy both open at 3 p.m., with music beginning soon after.

These are the confirmed times reported on August 26, but they remain subject to change. The promoter's Pulp event page gives 4:30 p.m. doors. One local article lists 4 p.m., so use the promoter time and check the ticket message before leaving.

There is no re-entry. Once you leave, the ticket cannot be used to return. Eat, collect medication, charge the phone and pack a permitted weather layer before going through security.

Use the official ticket route

The promoter currently labels Pulp as sold out, Courteeners as having final tickets, and The Prodigy as on sale. Inventory can change quickly. Start from the Live From Wythenshawe Park event page rather than a search ad or an unsolicited social message.

Open the ticket in the provider named in the booking email before joining the queue. Save the order number and support route separately. A screenshot may help you identify the booking, but do not assume it will work as the entry credential unless the ticket provider says it will.

Photo ID is required for entry. The promoter lists an in-date passport, driving licence including a provisional licence, or an in-date CitizenCard. A foreign visitor should use a document the event explicitly accepts instead of relying on a hotel photocopy.

The city-center shuttle is the simplest first choice

The dedicated shuttle runs from Aytoun Street and Minshull Street, close to Manchester Piccadilly and Kampus. Buses are scheduled every six minutes and the organizer estimates a journey of about 35 minutes. They drop passengers on Palatine Road opposite Parkway House, around a five-minute walk from the concert gates.

Outbound service runs:

• Friday, August 28: 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, August 29: 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, August 30: 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The official travel page gives the city departure point as what3words face.tape.become. Save the street name as well. A three-word pin is useful at the kerb, but it is a poor substitute for the full route when a phone has no data.

After each show, shuttles leave from outside Parkway House on Palatine Road from 10 p.m. They operate on a load-and-go basis, stop at Parrs Wood, then continue to the city center. Exit through North Gate and follow the signed path. Do not walk back to the inbound stop by memory because crowd routing may direct everyone differently.

East Didsbury is useful from the south

A second shuttle leaves Parrs Wood in East Didsbury, from stop F outside the tenpin bowling venue. It is scheduled every 15 minutes. The organizer estimates about 15 minutes on the bus, followed by roughly five minutes on foot from the Palatine Road drop-off near Northenden Health Centre.

It runs during the same outbound windows as the city shuttle. The published what3words point is film.people.such.

This route can reduce the city-center detour for visitors based near Didsbury, Stockport or a southern rail connection. Check the connection into East Didsbury before committing to it. The special shuttle solves the last leg to the park, not the entire journey from every hotel.

Buy the GBP 8 event travel pass before setting out

The event travel pass costs GBP 8 and covers any combination of Bee Network bus, tram and event shuttle on the selected concert day. It is sold in advance through the Bee Network app.

A one-way shuttle ticket is also sold at the pickup point for GBP 4 for an adult or GBP 2 for a concession. That can work for someone who needs only one shuttle trip, but the event pass is easier when the route includes a tram or ordinary Bee Network bus as well.

Download the Bee Network app, sign in, buy the pass and check that it appears before leaving reliable Wi-Fi. Take a screenshot of the purchase details as a backup record. Use the live ticket in the app if its instructions require validation or an animated display.

Moor Road is the tram stop to use

Moor Road is the nearest useful Metrolink stop for the concert. It is on the Airport line. From the stop, walk along Bideford Drive and through the park to West Gate. The organizer estimates 15 to 20 minutes on foot.

Two nearby-looking stops create a late-night trap. Wythenshawe Park and Baguley close from 9 p.m., before the 10:30 p.m. curfew. Do not build the return around either stop simply because its name or map pin looks convenient.

TfGM expects trams to be busiest toward the park from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and toward Manchester from 10 p.m. to midnight. An enhanced service is planned around the park, but a larger service does not remove the walk, platform queue or possible missed connection.

Typical rail-to-tram chains reported for this weekend are:

• Manchester Piccadilly: tram to St Peter's Square, then Airport line to Moor Road, around 40 minutes before the final walk.
• Manchester Victoria: direct Airport line tram to Moor Road, around 35 minutes before the walk.
• Manchester Airport: direct Airport line tram to Moor Road, around 25 minutes before the walk.

Driving only works with an advance parking plan

The promoter offers limited on-site parking and Park & Stride options through JustPark. Both need an advance booking. Parking on residential streets around the park is prohibited, with council enforcement and towing planned around the event.

The official pickup and drop-off point reported for cars, taxis and ride-hailing is Tesco on Altrincham Road, Manchester M23 9TJ. Save that address in the driver's phone and agree on a specific side or landmark before the concert. A generic Wythenshawe Park pin can send a driver toward a closed road.

The promoter says road closures apply from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on concert nights. The listed affected roads include Moor Road, Rackhouse Road, Wythenshawe Road and sections of Palatine Road and Princess Parkway slip roads. Follow stewards and current signs because the safe reopening time can change.

Leaving at the final note will place you in the largest pedestrian and vehicle flow. If the driver is not already at the official pickup area, wait at a named meeting point rather than walking through closures while repeatedly changing the pin.

Cycling is encouraged, and the organizer lists a secure bike park with security and CCTV. Bikes are not permitted inside the concert arena.

Pack for the A4 bag rule

Rucksacks are prohibited. Another small bag must be no larger than 21 x 30 x 8 cm, roughly A4. Security searches apply, and items surrendered at the gate cannot be collected later.

The current entry rules also prohibit food, alcohol, glass, aerosols, umbrellas, camp chairs, stools, picnic blankets, selfie sticks and professional cameras. A plastic, see-through water bottle under 500 ml is allowed and can be refilled on site.

Manchester weather can change within one show. Use a packable waterproof jacket instead of an umbrella. Put the phone, power bank, cable, ID, ticket instructions and medication in the smallest permitted bag. The reviewed rules do not promise that every battery or medical item will pass without inspection, so contact the organizer in advance for an unusual item.

Age rules change for The Prodigy

Pulp and Courteeners do not admit children under five. Anyone under 14 must attend with an adult aged 18 or over. The general event information says visitors aged 14 to 17 may attend unaccompanied, but the ticket terms for the specific show remain the authority.

The Prodigy is different. It is a 14-plus show, and every visitor under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. A 16-year-old who could attend one of the other nights alone cannot use the same plan on Sunday.

Carry the accepted photo ID. Do not leave the age check until the gate, especially when a group includes teenagers with different tickets.

Accessibility requests are already closed

The concert arena is grass. The organizer describes it as relatively flat but warns that ground conditions can change with the weather. The access request form is now closed, so a last-minute visitor should not assume that a viewing platform, companion ticket or access parking can be arranged at the gate.

Pulp's accessible viewing platform and area were already listed at capacity when this guide was checked. Visitors with an approved request should use the confirmation email and information pack. Other access questions can go to [email protected].

The accessibility page lists accessible toilets in toilet blocks, at the viewing area, Access Reception and medical tents. Refrigerated medication storage at the medical center had to be pre-arranged through the access form. Bring the documentation and instructions already agreed with the team.

Save these apps and details before the gate

• Bee Network: buy the event pass, check tram changes and plan the return.
• Your official ticket account: load the ticket and save the order number before joining the queue.
• Google Maps or Apple Maps: save the hotel, chosen shuttle stop, Moor Road, West Gate and Tesco pickup point.
• Met Office: check the Manchester forecast close to departure and pack a permitted waterproof layer.
• Your messaging app: agree on one meeting point inside and one outside the park.

Also save a plain-text note with the hotel address, the final train time, the name of the first return service and a contact number for anyone in the group. A battery pack is more useful when its cable is in the same A4 bag.

Mobile data may slow when thousands of phones share nearby cells. Load the ticket, event pass and route before the crowd builds. A working data plan helps with live changes, but it cannot guarantee reception or speed at a concert.
