Nok Air Hyderabad-Bangkok flights have resumed

Nok Air resumed direct flights between Hyderabad and Bangkok Don Mueang on October 15, 2026. The route runs four times a week in each direction as DD959 and DD958.

The useful detail is not just that the route is back. Nok Air's older destination page and newer launch reports show different arrival and departure minutes, so travelers should treat the itinerary sold for their date as the final schedule.

The practical answer: DD959 leaves Hyderabad after midnight on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. DD958 leaves Don Mueang late in the evening on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Check the date, local time and baggage line on the final booking because the public sources do not all show the same minutes.

What is confirmed about the resumed route

Nok Air's India account announced October 15 as the start date. Reports from the launch say representatives of Nok Air and AOT Ground Aviation Services welcomed arriving passengers, which is stronger evidence than a future timetable alone.

The route restores Nok Air's international link with Hyderabad after a gap of more than a year. It also puts passengers at Don Mueang, not Suvarnabhumi. That airport distinction matters for hotel transfers and separately booked onward flights.

Why the timetable needs a second check

The launch reports give DD959 as 00:45 from Hyderabad and 05:45 into Don Mueang. They give DD958 as 21:35 from Bangkok and 23:45 into Hyderabad. Nok Air's older Hyderabad destination page still shows 21:30 and 06:05 for parts of the timetable.

That difference is small, but it is enough to cause a missed pickup or a poor connection. Search the exact date on Nok Air, open the flight details and keep the issued itinerary. The airline's Thai fare pages have recently displayed Hyderabad inventory even when its English route calendar showed no result, so a blank calendar tile is not proof that the route has stopped.

The after-midnight Hyderabad departure also deserves care. A 00:45 flight on Thursday requires arriving at the airport on Wednesday night. Put the actual departure date into the calendar rather than describing it only as a Wednesday-night flight.

Hyderabad departure and Nok Air check-in

Nok Air's airport information places its Hyderabad check-in at counters L, M, N and P on the second floor. Counter assignments can change, so use the terminal display and the instruction sent with the booking on the day.

For international flights at Don Mueang, Nok Air's airport check-in page says counters open three hours before departure and close one hour before departure. It does not publish one universal Hyderabad opening time on that page. For HYD, arrive with enough time for the airline's document check, baggage drop, emigration and security, and follow the deadline attached to the reservation.

Do not assume that a domestic Nok Air online check-in rule applies to this international service. A digital boarding pass may not remove the need for a passport or visa check at the counter.

Check baggage against the purchased fare

Nok Air sells fare families and add-ons, so there is no single baggage answer for every DD958 or DD959 passenger. The airline's baggage page is the correct starting point, but the allowance shown on the issued ticket controls the booking.

Read three separate lines before paying: cabin baggage, included checked baggage and the price of adding weight. Travelers often ask whether two allowances can be pooled or whether an extra bag can be bought after booking. Do not rely on another passenger's domestic experience for an international itinerary. Use Manage Booking or ask Nok Air to confirm the specific reservation.

Keep medicine, travel documents, electronics and anything needed during a delay in the cabin within the fare's size and weight limits. If a checked allowance shows zero, buy the needed weight before the airline's cutoff rather than discovering the airport price at the counter.

Thailand entry and the digital arrival card

Entry depends on the passport used, length of stay and travel purpose. A direct ticket from India does not create a visa exemption by itself. Check Thailand's official eVisa portal for the traveler's nationality and circumstances before the fare becomes restrictive.

Thailand also requires foreign arrivals to submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card within the official arrival window. Use the government site, not a paid lookalike. Save the submission details with the passport, accommodation address and return or onward booking.

Rules and document checks can change. Nok Air can inspect travel documents at check-in, while Thai immigration makes the entry decision on arrival.

Don Mueang arrival and onward connections

DD959 arrives at Don Mueang International Airport. International passengers use Terminal 1. Airport signs and the live flight display should settle the actual belt, exit and gate information.

Don Mueang has Red Line rail and airport bus links into Bangkok. It is a different airport from Suvarnabhumi, so a connection labeled BKK requires a road or rail transfer across the city. Do not book that as if it were a terminal change.

For an onward Nok Air domestic flight, check whether the whole journey is on one protected itinerary and ask where the bag is tagged. Separate tickets usually mean entering Thailand, collecting baggage and checking in again. Allow for immigration, baggage delivery, the walk between airport areas and the next carrier's cutoff. A short self-transfer that works on a quiet day has no protection from a delayed inbound flight.

Ten questions about Nok Air's Hyderabad-Bangkok flights

1. Has Nok Air really resumed Hyderabad-Bangkok flights?

Yes. Nok Air advertised an October 15 start, and launch-day reports describe passengers being welcomed after the resumed service arrived. The route is scheduled four times a week in each direction.

2. Which days does DD959 fly from Hyderabad?

DD959 is reported on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Because it leaves after midnight, arrive at Hyderabad airport on the previous evening and verify the calendar date on the ticket.

3. Which days does DD958 return from Bangkok?

DD958 is reported on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Search the return separately because the operating days are not a mirror of the Hyderabad departure pattern.

4. What time are the Nok Air Hyderabad-Bangkok flights?

Recent launch reports show DD959 at 00:45 to 05:45 and DD958 at 21:35 to 23:45, all local. Nok Air's older route page shows slightly different minutes, so use the issued itinerary for the actual date.

5. Does Nok Air use BKK or DMK in Bangkok?

It uses Don Mueang, airport code DMK. Suvarnabhumi is BKK and is across the city. Check every onward ticket for the three-letter airport code.

6. How early should I arrive for the international flight?

Nok Air says its international counters at Don Mueang open three hours before departure and close one hour before. For Hyderabad, follow the booking's deadline and allow enough time for document checks, baggage, emigration and security.

7. Is checked baggage included with Nok Air?

It depends on the fare purchased. Read the baggage allowance on the checkout page and ticket. Do not infer an international allowance from a domestic fare name or another passenger's booking.

8. Do travelers need a Thailand visa or TDAC?

Visa requirements depend on nationality and trip circumstances. Foreign arrivals must also complete the official Thailand Digital Arrival Card within its submission window. Check both requirements from government sources before departure.

9. Can I connect at Don Mueang on separate tickets?

You can plan a self-transfer, but it is not protected like one through booking. You may need to enter Thailand, collect the bag and check in again. Leave a wide margin and verify both airlines' deadlines.

10. Will an eSIM work after landing in Bangkok?

An unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone can use a plan that lists Thailand and a supported network. Install it on reliable internet, but follow the activation instructions so validity does not start too early. An eSIM supplies ground mobile data, not onboard Wi-Fi.

Mobile data for Hyderabad and Bangkok

For a Thailand-only stay, compare a Thailand eSIM. OpenSim's live public catalog listed 34 Thailand plans from USD0.60 when checked on October 18. Available plans used supported AIS, dtac or True networks, depending on the selected option.

For the Indian side of the trip, an India eSIM is the direct fit. The same catalog check returned 16 India plans from USD0.82 on supported Airtel service. A regional Asia 20 Areas eSIM listed both India and Thailand and may suit a trip with more stops.

Prices, networks, speed, fair-use terms and top-up eligibility vary by plan and can change. Read the live product card before checkout. A very small allowance can cover a message or pickup detail, but maps, video calls and hotspot use need more data.

If this is a first eSIM trip, check whether the phone supports eSIM and when to install it before travel.

Before leaving for HYD or DMK

  • Confirm DD959 or DD958 is still operating on the exact date.
  • Save the local departure time and note the after-midnight calendar date.
  • Check that the Bangkok airport code is DMK.
  • Save the baggage included with the fare.
  • Verify the check-in deadline for the departure airport.
  • Complete current visa and Thailand Digital Arrival Card steps.
  • Decide whether any onward flight is protected or a self-transfer.
  • Keep the first hotel address and airport transfer plan offline.
  • Install an eSIM without activating it earlier than its instructions allow.
  • Recheck the booking before leaving for the airport.

Sources checked for the route return

Nok Air's own India post, Hyderabad destination page, fare pages, check-in guidance and baggage rules support the airline, route, flight-number and passenger-process details. Launch coverage published on October 15 and 17 supports the operated start and current weekly pattern. Thailand's official eVisa and digital arrival-card services support the entry preparation.

Public questions were used to identify uncertainty about baggage, after-midnight dates, entry documents and Don Mueang connections. They were not used to replace airline, airport or immigration rules.

*Operational details were reviewed on October 18, 2026. Schedules, counters, baggage terms, entry requirements and plan availability can change. Recheck Nok Air, the airports and Thai immigration before travel.*
