Rock en Seine 2026 guide: tickets, bags and transport

Rock en Seine runs from Wednesday, August 26 through Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud outside Paris. Tyler, the Creator, Lorde, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Deftones and The Cure close the Main Stage on successive nights. Sunday is sold out on the official ticket page.

The short answer: put the Rock en Seine app and your ticket account on the same phone before leaving Wi-Fi. AXS ticket QR codes appear only a few hours before doors, screenshots are not accepted, all exits are final, and the official approach is Metro Line 10 or Tram T2 rather than a car.

This guide was checked against the live festival timetable, ticketing, entry, security, cashless and accessibility pages on August 25. It also checks the City of Saint-Cloud road controls and the current RATP works notices. Reopen the official timetable and transit status before each festival day.

Rock en Seine 2026 at a glance

The site is large, and the final concerts finish close to the last practical public transport window. Choose the return station before choosing where to stand for the headliner.

Choose a festival day by the closing set

Concerts begin about 45 minutes after doors. The festival stops admitting people 15 minutes after the final Main Stage show begins. That makes a late arrival risky even when the ticket scans correctly.

The timetable has overlapping stages. Save two priorities and one fallback rather than trying to cross the park for every name. Friday and Saturday also finish an hour later than the other days, which changes the return journey.

Use the official lineup for the latest stage and time. Current guides published earlier in the year may show old set times.

Get the correct ticket onto your phone

Rock en Seine lists its own website, AXS and Fnac Spectacles as official online sales channels. Tickets bought through the festival's AXS route are now available in the Rock en Seine app, but the entry QR code appears only a few hours before doors. Weezevent buyers use the emailed link or their customer account to add the ticket.

Do not solve a missing code by taking a screenshot. The 2026 ticket conditions say a photo, screenshot or photocopy is not accepted at entry. Sign in to the account used for purchase, update the app, and confirm that the correct festival day is attached before traveling.

Sunday, August 30 is marked sold out. The official ticket page directs buyers to its Ticket Exchange. The AXS resale listing window closes on August 25 at 6pm. Use the live official exchange shown by Rock en Seine rather than a social-media offer or an unsupported reseller.

If a ticket was purchased for someone else, use the transfer feature provided by the original ticket platform when available. Current public questions show confusion between AXS and Weezevent transfers. The process is not interchangeable, so follow the instructions inside the account that issued the ticket.

Tickets are generally neither exchangeable nor refundable. Optional refundable-ticket protection has separate qualifying conditions and proof requirements. It is not a general change-of-mind refund.

Standard, Primary Entry and Garden access

A normal day ticket covers the festival performances for that date. Primary Entry and Garden are separate upgrades with their own access instructions. A reduced-price or child ticket does not automatically include Garden access.

Primary Entry holders are told a dedicated entrance address separately. Do not follow the main-entrance crowd until checking that message. Garden is a managed hospitality area, not a promise of the front row at every stage. Community questions often treat Garden and Primary Entry as equivalent ways to stand closest to a headliner, but the ticket products solve different problems.

Read the exact benefits on the purchased ticket. Do not rely on a photograph from a previous layout, because stages, barriers and access paths can change each year.

How to get to Rock en Seine

The organizer recommends two rail approaches:

1. Metro Line 10 to Boulogne Pont de Saint-Cloud.
2. Tram T2 to Parc de Saint-Cloud.

It also lists bus routes 52, 72 and 126, plus Noctilien night routes N12 and N61 at Pont de Sevres. Use the live RATP or Ile-de-France Mobilites planner from your actual accommodation. A route from northern or eastern Paris can require more than one transfer.

RATP's planned T2 closure between Puteaux and Charlebourg ended on August 23, before the festival. That does not guarantee a disruption-free event week. Check the T2 status on the day, especially if approaching from La Defense.

Some competing guides recommend RER C as the main approach. The festival's current access page does not. Use the two routes the organizer names unless the live transit planner gives a better confirmed alternative.

There is no public festival car park. For drop-off or pickup, the organizer says not to drive to the Domaine. It recommends meeting at Metro Pont de Saint-Cloud or at the Parc de Saint-Cloud bus and tram stop instead.

Road restrictions around Saint-Cloud

The City of Saint-Cloud says the Avenue and Grille d'Honneur vehicle access closes from 11am to 2am on all five festival days. Pedestrians and cyclists can still use that access.

The Grille du Mail in Sevres closes to vehicles and pedestrians from 11am until 7:30am the next morning from Wednesday through Saturday. On Sunday, that closure begins at 9:30am. Other gates have their own vehicle restrictions.

Those controls make a last-minute taxi to the entrance unreliable. Set a pickup point beyond the restricted gate and expect the first few blocks to be on foot. The prefecture can change closure times on the day.

Plan the final train before the final song

The organizer says concerts finish before public transport ends. That is not the same as saying every visitor can leave the stage, cross the site and board the last useful connection.

Friday and Saturday run until about 12:30am. If the route home requires Line 10 plus another Metro or suburban train, check the complete connection rather than stopping at the departure from Boulogne Pont de Saint-Cloud. Save a night-bus alternative and a meeting point near the station.

After the closer:

• Keep the group together until clear of the stage crowd.
• Follow staff directions rather than a walking shortcut from an old map.
• Open the transit app before reaching the platform queue.
• Do not request a pickup at a gate closed to vehicles.
• Keep enough battery for the ticket home and accommodation address.

All exits are final. Leaving early to collect something from a car or hotel ends that festival day's admission.

Rock en Seine bag and security rules

Every person and bag can be checked. The published maximum is a 24-liter bag, described as no more than 24 by 45 cm. Suitcases and larger backpacks are not accepted, including at the security deposit.

The deposit is not a public cloakroom. It only holds selected dangerous items confiscated during a check. A competing guide that promises lockers or a general bag drop is not consistent with the organizer's current rule.

Permitted items include:

• A small backpack within the 24-liter limit.
• A water bottle under 50 cl.
• An empty non-glass bottle under 50 cl.
• A small compact umbrella.
• A small folding stool or chair up to 53 by 41 by 3 cm.
• A small phone battery charger and a small camera.

Prohibited items include professional cameras, recording equipment, selfie sticks, glass, cans, bottles over 50 cl, alcohol, drones, motorcycle helmets, speakers, computers and headphones. Large quantities of food, drinks or cigarettes are also prohibited. A normal smartphone is permitted, but the official list draws a clear line between a small phone charger and larger electronic equipment.

Cashless wristband and refund dates

Food, drinks and merchandise use the festival's cashless wristband. You can preload an account with the barcode from the first festival day on your booking. The first top-up carries a EUR 1.50 activation fee.

For a two, three or four-day pass, the cashless wristband also becomes the pass for later days. Keep it intact for the full booking. Removing or damaging it can prevent the next entry.

Creating a cashless account is optional, but it gives you balance history, receipts, online top-up and a way to block a lost wristband. An anonymous wristband cannot be replaced with its balance unless it was associated with an account.

Refund requests for remaining balances open August 31 at 10am and close September 14 at 11:59pm. Balances below EUR 0.50 are not refundable. Set a reminder before leaving France instead of expecting an automatic refund.

Children, teenagers and first-time visitors

Children under three cannot enter. The organizer does not recommend the festival for children under six. A child ticket is for children younger than 11 under the published birth-date rule and requires an accompanying adult with a valid ticket.

Visitors under 16 must be with a legal guardian. If the accompanying adult is not a parent, carry the festival's parental authorization document and the required identification. Do not assume a phone photo of a document will satisfy an original-document request.

For any child or teenager, use hearing protection suited to their age, choose a meeting point away from the Main Stage barrier and write an adult contact number on a card. The longest days can run for ten hours before the exit walk.

Solo visitors are common in the current public discussions, especially among international fans traveling for one headliner. Meet new contacts in a public area, keep control of the ticket account and arrange the return independently rather than depending on someone met inside.

Accessibility and lower-stimulation support

The 2026 accessibility system includes a dedicated welcome desk, accessible routes, adapted restrooms, wheelchair-height bar counters and viewing platforms at three stages. Reserved accessible parking is available free on request and subject to capacity. It is not general festival parking.

The official page also lists vibrating vests, magnetic loops, French Sign Language support for talks, accessible information formats and a social chill-out zone. Noise-cancelling headphones and fidget tools are available on request at the accessibility welcome point and chill-out zone.

The StreetNav app provides accessible route guidance inside the site and in the city. Submit the official accessibility form or contact the festival before arrival for parking, accompaniment or equipment questions. Do not assume that a viewing platform has unlimited companion space during the final concerts.

Festival apps and offline return routes

Save the accommodation address in text and photograph the group's meeting point. A festival app can update the running order, but it cannot reunite people if phones are flat or the network is busy.

Roaming eSIM for Rock en Seine and Paris

International visitors need mobile data for the changing ticket QR code, the festival timetable, cashless top-up, live transit status and the route back to Paris. A Roaming eSIM can be installed before arrival while the normal SIM remains available for calls and texts.
