Ucell launches new Worldwide and Neighboring Countries roaming packs

Ucell has launched refreshed Worldwide and Neighboring Countries roaming-data packages with larger 10GB and 20GB choices for eligible business customers. The August 26 announcement also says unused data remains available until its original expiry when another package is activated.

The names are familiar, but the customer channel has changed. Ucell separately closed new activations of its former subscriber packages from August 26. The refreshed offer appears in the corporate section and its conditions define which prepaid and postpaid categories can use it.

The traveler answer: check the customer type before comparing prices. The new packages are not available on Ucell's Tourist or M2M tariffs, and some corporate accounts need a written activation request. Confirm successful activation in the app or with *155# before resuming mobile data, because Ucell says failed activation leaves usage on standard roaming rates.

Ucell's refreshed roaming prices

The current corporate package page lists five Worldwide allowances and two Neighboring Countries allowances. All prices include VAT.

The neighboring package is much less expensive at the same 10GB or 20GB allowance, but it works only on the countries and operators in that list. A lower regional price is not useful when the itinerary or available network falls outside it.

Why Ucell also published a package-closure notice

Ucell's subscriber notice, published August 11, says the former Worldwide and Neighboring Countries packages would stop accepting new activations from August 26. Packages activated before the cutoff remain valid until their own expiry.

The new announcement appears under corporate news and links to the new corporate package conditions. These two notices address different versions and audiences rather than proving that every Ucell customer lost or gained the same product.

Do not use an old screenshot or search result as an activation guide. Open the current Ucell account, choose the personal or corporate section that matches the line and confirm that the exact bundle is offered there.

Who can activate the new Ucell packages

Ucell's conditions say eligible prepaid subscribers and postpaid corporate customers in its Corporate VIP, Individual and Businessman categories can manage the packages in the Ucell app or through *155#. Packages can also be handled through Ucell offices, customer support and the personal account, depending on the line.

Corporate customers may need to submit a written request to the Business Customer Service Department. The packages cannot be activated on M2M plans or Ucell's Tourist tariff.

These are roaming add-ons for an existing eligible Ucell line. They are not visitor packages for someone arriving in Uzbekistan without a Ucell account. They also do not require the line to be installed in one particular SIM format. The account, tariff and roaming status determine eligibility.

Confirm activation before using data abroad

Ucell tells customers to stop any active internet session, activate the package and resume data only after successful confirmation. The balance can be checked in the mobile app or through *155#.

That sequence matters because the terms say standard roaming rates apply when the package has not activated, with no recalculation afterward. A pending request or an on-screen selection is not the same as a confirmed allowance.

Before departure:

1. confirm roaming is active on the Ucell account;
2. check the destination and operator list;
3. activate through the channel allowed for the account;
4. verify the balance and 30-day expiry; and
5. save a screenshot before restarting mobile data.

At the destination, select an included network if automatic selection chooses another operator. Use the data-roaming setup guide to keep the intended line in control of data.

The packages do not renew automatically

Each package lasts 30 days and does not automatically renew. Activating another eligible package before the first one expires does not reset the old allowance's clock. Ucell says the remaining old data stays available until its original expiry and is used first.

That is helpful when adding more data during a trip, but it is not permanent rollover. If the earlier package expires tomorrow, its remaining data still expires tomorrow even when a new 30-day package was added today.

Track the two expiry dates separately. A combined balance without a date can make the older allowance look safer than it is.

Activating a new bundle can cancel another roaming product

The current conditions list several products that are automatically deactivated when a new Worldwide or Neighboring Countries package starts. They include Unlimited Internet 2.0, Always Connected, Mix packages, Russia or China packages and the FIFA2026 package. Any remaining allowance on those conflicting products is cancelled.

This is one of the most important pre-purchase checks. A traveler heading through more than one region could lose a route-specific allowance by activating the general package too soon.

Ask Ucell which package should be activated first and whether the later activation will erase paid data. Record the answer when several add-ons are already attached to the line.

Included countries still depend on named operators

Ucell publishes country and operator lists for both package groups. Data used on another operator can be billed at the applicable zone-based roaming rate even when the country itself appears in the broader destination list.

If both Worldwide and Neighboring Countries packages are active, Ucell prioritizes the neighboring allowance in a country covered by that package. When the included data runs out, internet access is blocked under the package conditions. The customer can then add another package or deliberately move to standard roaming, but should not do the latter without checking the price.

Automatic network selection is convenient, not conclusive. Confirm the operator name after landing and again after a border crossing.

Where Roaming eSIM gives travelers more flexibility

Ucell's refreshed bundles can be a good fit for an eligible Uzbekistan-based business traveler who needs the normal Ucell line and frequently visits included networks. The regional 10GB and 20GB prices are particularly different from the worldwide tiers.

Roaming eSIM is the simpler route for a visitor to Uzbekistan, a traveler without an eligible Ucell business tariff or someone who wants to keep home-carrier roaming switched off. Its public package records show the current price, allowance, validity, speed label, reloadability and persistent product link for the selected route.

🏆 Roaming eSIM wins on access and route choice: buy a destination or Central Asia package without converting the main line to a Ucell corporate category, submitting a written business request or risking standard Ucell roaming when an add-on has not activated. Ucell may win for an eligible account whose regular route fits its neighboring-country operator list.

Compare the exact coverage rather than the package names. Two Central Asia products can include different country combinations.

Four Roaming eSIM alternatives for the region

An inbound traveler can start with Uzbekistan Roaming eSIM. A border-crossing itinerary can compare Central Asia 4 Areas Roaming eSIM and Central Asia 5 Areas Roaming eSIM, but the similar names do not mean the country lists match.

For a route extending well beyond the region, review Global 120 Areas Roaming eSIM only after checking every stop. Package availability, validity, speed, hotspot support and reloadability can vary.
