Oslo World 2026: concert tickets, age limits and travel

Oslo World's main concert week runs October 27-November 1, 2026. Choose your evening from the current programme, then check whether a paired ticket covers both shows you want. Entry ages, door times and performance times vary by event; a festival listing does not give you access to every venue.
The festival spreads music across clubs, concert halls and smaller rooms rather than one outdoor site. Its current website describes 60 concerts and club nights with artists from 35 countries. That range is a reason to listen before choosing, not a challenge to fit everything into one trip.
For a short visit, pick one evening you would travel for and leave room for another artist you do not know. Keeping two shows at the same venue can be more enjoyable than crossing Oslo halfway through a set.
Which Oslo World evening fits your trip?
The paired-concert guide identifies these combinations. Check the linked current ticket selection before paying; an announcement is not a guarantee that every category remains available.
| Date | Artists to compare | Venue | Booking decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 27 | Marcel Khalife and Sami Galbi | Chateau Neuf | Opening-concert ticket includes the later party |
| October 28 | Nana Benz du Togo and Frente Cumbiero | Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene | Compare a double ticket with one concert |
| October 29 | Mazaher and BCUC | Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene | Check the paired category and entry rules |
| October 31 | Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Yerai Cortés | Cosmopolite | Two different performances at one venue |
| October 31 | Renata Flores and A.CHAL | Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene | A paired evening of Peruvian and diaspora music |
The organizer also announced a Dirty Three and Imarhan combination for October 30. At our October 17 check, the daily programme marked Dirty Three sold out. Do not build a trip around a September availability message. Follow the current ticket link and keep another option in mind.
For a single headline concert, the programme lists Dubioza Kolektiv on October 28 at Sentrum Scene, and Jovanotti at the same venue on November 1. Choose the music first, then compare the dates with your transport and accommodation.
Opening night: Marcel Khalife includes Sami Galbi
The Marcel Khalife listing places the opening concert at Chateau Neuf on October 27, with doors at 20:00 and the concert at 20:30. It lists NOK 380-600 plus a fee, including the opening party with Sami Galbi.
Khalife performs the *Promises of the Storm* solo project, accompanying his singing on the oud. The later event moves to Betong, another room at Chateau Neuf. The programme lists Galbi's concert at 22:00.
You can also buy a Sami Galbi-only ticket. That is a different purchase from the opening-concert ticket that includes both. Check your selected category and the party's age conditions; do not assume a shared building gives every ticket holder unrestricted access to every room.
Chateau Neuf's festival venue page gives Slemdalsveien 15 as its address. Save the room name as well as the building so you know where to go after arrival.
What do the Victoria double tickets cost?
The Nana Benz du Togo ticket page lists the October 28 concert at 18:30, with doors at 17:30. Its ordinary single ticket is NOK 375; the paired ticket with Frente Cumbiero is NOK 615, including fees as described on the page.
The Frente Cumbiero listing gives 21:30 for the concert and 20:30 for doors, with the same ordinary single and paired prices. Two ordinary singles total NOK 750, so the paired category saves NOK 135 at these listed rates. A single ticket still costs less if you only want one performance.
For October 29, the Mazaher ticket page lists NOK 690 for Mazaher and BCUC together. Mazaher starts at 18:00, with doors at 17:00. Check the current BCUC details and the final basket before confirming.
Read the ticket name carefully. Having two events in your calendar does not mean your purchase covers both. Ask whether you need to leave and re-enter between performances if that affects your plans, and allow time to eat rather than assuming a continuous set.
Under-18 visitors: choose the earlier Parkteatret session
Oslo World UNG has separate sessions on October 29 at Parkteatret, featuring Pen Gutt, Kaoroo, SwagTV and DJs Ubachii and Banjee.
The under-18 listing specifies doors at 17:00, concert at 18:00, with free admission on a first-come basis. Free entry does not reserve a place, so allow time to arrive before the performance.
The separate over-18 event lists doors at 20:00, concert at 21:00, and a price of NOK 90. Review any checkout fee and the stated entry age. Do not arrive for the later session with the earlier event saved on your phone and expect the same conditions.
Other venues have their own rules. For example, Victoria's published Mazaher and Frente Cumbiero ticket conditions specify 18+, with minors accompanied by a guardian over 25 and a guardian form completed at entry. Confirm the arrangement with the venue before buying for a younger visitor. It does not establish a guardian policy at every Oslo World club.
The children's days are before the main concert week
The programme places Children's Arts Exploration Days on October 17-18, at Grønland kulturstasjon og Asylet. Those dates are separate from the late-October concert week.
If you are visiting with children on October 27-November 1, use the age conditions of the actual event you are considering. The festival having a children's programme earlier in the month does not make its later club nights family sessions. For a wider trip, the Norway with kids guide covers country-level family planning.
Plan an Oslo concert route by venue address
The festival venue directory gives these useful addresses:
| Venue | Address to save |
|---|---|
| Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene | Karl Johans gate 35 |
| Sentrum Scene | Arbeidersamfunnets plass 1 |
| Parkteatret | Olaf Ryes plass 11 |
| Cosmopolite | Vogts gate 64 |
| Kulturkirken Jakob | Hausmanns gate 14 |
These are different buildings. Check the route between the entrances rather than judging the gap from a list of stage times. A festival itinerary that works for an early concert may not leave enough time for a second venue after the full set.
Choose an achievable walking pace in your journey planner and add time for entry. In late October, keep a weatherproof layer handy for transfers and queues. Ask about cloakrooms and bag rules before bringing airport luggage to a show; we have not confirmed a single festival-wide baggage policy.
For access needs, contact the particular venue about the entrance, viewing position, seating and toilets. A paired ticket does not itself establish step-free movement between rooms or reserved seating.
Ruter tickets and late-night returns
Ruter's ticket-buying guidance explains that its app combines journey planning and ticket purchase. Buy before boarding. Physical travel cards are an alternative through designated outlets if you do not want to depend entirely on a phone.
The operator's single-ticket guidance describes a one-zone ticket as valid for 60 minutes, with more time for additional zones. Transfers must stay within the purchased zones and remaining validity. Use the app's proposed route and ticket rather than buying the smallest option without checking.
Plan the return before adding a late club night. Look up the specific night and the final connection to your accommodation, not just the last service from the centre. A journey after midnight belongs to the following calendar date.
Keep your phone charged if it holds the ticket. Save the venue address and an alternative return route, and check service notices again before setting out. Do not assume an earlier train or bus timetable will be unchanged on the concert date.
Oslo Airport arrival: match the ticket to the train
Avinor's airport transport guide lists Flytoget, regional trains and buses as different options between Oslo Airport and the city. Check the operator, departure and onward connection before choosing.
Flytoget's own guidance says its tickets remain separate from Vy and Ruter tickets during the period before service integration. Do not board Flytoget with a Vy/Ruter ticket, or assume a Flytoget ticket covers city trams and buses.
Leave time for baggage and finding the platform after landing. If you arrive on the afternoon of your first concert, travel to your accommodation before heading to the venue rather than making the ticket depend on a very tight flight-to-stage connection. Check live operator notices and the travel date before departure.
Mobile data for the Oslo World week
Save your concert ticket and accommodation address before leaving Wi-Fi. Mobile data helps when a friend is at a different venue, a return route changes or you need to open a new ticket confirmation. Offline copies still matter inside a busy venue.
OpenSim's Norway 3GB, 15-day plan was listed at US$3 on October 17, with top-up support on that package. Its fixed allowance can suit a short stay focused on maps, messages and transport checks, without buying a larger allowance you will not use. Compare your carrier's included Norway roaming first; a suitable existing allowance may make an extra purchase unnecessary.
Check the Norway eSIM plan page for current choices. Use our travel data calculator, phone compatibility check and installation timing guide before buying. Do not assume a Norway-only plan covers a stopover in another country.
