Pukkelpop 2026 guide: tickets, trains and camping

Pukkelpop 2026 runs from Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23 in Kiewit, Hasselt. Day and combi tickets are currently sold out, but the organizer has opened an official resale page. Festival entry can include a free regular-train return to Kiewit, while the special late-night trains require a separate EUR 17 booking.

The awkward part is not reaching the gate. It is matching the right ticket, campsite window and return train. A free festival train ticket does not work on the night trains, Brussels Airport adds its own rail supplement, and day-ticket camping access changes according to the day printed on the ticket.

This guide was checked on August 9, 2026. Use the official Pukkelpop site and SNCB festival page again before travel because resale inventory, platform details, set times and transport notices can change.

The short answer: Buy only through the official resale route, download the correct regular or night train ticket before boarding, and save the festival map, return route and meeting point offline. Kiewit station is the simplest arrival. Travelers staying in Brussels after the final set need the paid night train or a confirmed alternative, not the free daytime festival ticket.

Buy a sold-out ticket without creating a second problem

The current ticket page says day and combi tickets are sold out. Pukkelpop opened its official Ticket Meet-Up Page on July 30 for people selling or buying returned tickets. In that process, the original ticket is canceled and the buyer receives a new valid ticket.

That cancellation is the important protection. A PDF sent through social media can be copied or resold several times, and the first barcode through the gate may be the only one that works. Do not pay a stranger because a screenshot looks convincing. Follow the official link from Pukkelpop and check the exact day, camping access and buyer details before completing the purchase.

A Friday ticket also admits its holder on Thursday from 17:00. Thursday is not sold as a separate event day. A combi ticket covers the full festival. Saturday and Sunday day tickets begin on their named days, so a Sunday buyer cannot use Thursday or Saturday programming as an informal bonus.

Pick the day from the live timetable

The current lineup places YUNGBLUD, Turnstile, Djo, Major Lazer and Becky Hill on Friday. Saturday includes Florence + The Machine, Deftones, Wet Leg and Underworld. Sunday includes Tyler, The Creator, SOMBR and Zara Larsson.

Do not turn those names into a minute-by-minute plan yet. The live Saturday schedule currently puts Florence + The Machine at 23:15, Deftones at 21:05 and Underworld at 00:45. Sunday's current schedule puts Tyler, The Creator at 22:45 and SOMBR at 20:30, with other stages continuing after the headliner. Save favorites in the official app and check again on the day.

The practical choice is whether the last must-see act finishes before your confirmed journey. A ticket to a late set is not useful if the only planned connection has already left. Work backward from the night train, shuttle or hotel check-in before filling every earlier hour.

Free regular trains and paid night trains are different products

The festival barcode is not a rail ticket. Use the code supplied with the Pukkelpop ticket to download a nominative Pukkelpop Train ticket from SNCB. It covers one outward and one return journey by regular train to Kiewit between August 20 and 24. Kiewit station is roughly a five-minute walk from the festival.

The paid night trains run after the Friday, Saturday and Sunday programmes on the nights of August 21, 22 and 23. The 02:30 route continues through Leuven, Brussels, Ghent and Bruges. The 03:00 route serves stations toward Antwerp. Check the full stop list before buying. The ticket is nominative and SNCB says it cannot be exchanged or canceled.

Do not board a night train with only the free event ticket. SNCB treats the night service as a separate reserved product. Since July 1, 2026, tickets are no longer sold on board Belgian trains, so every traveler needs the correct ticket before stepping onto the train.

Arriving from Brussels Airport, Charleroi or another country

Brussels Airport-Zaventem has a railway station below the terminal. Download the Pukkelpop Train ticket for the domestic rail journey and buy the airport supplements that SNCB requires for the outward and return airport legs. Keep both barcodes available for the station gates.

Brussels South Charleroi Airport does not have a train beneath the terminal. SNCB directs Pukkelpop travelers to take a TEC bus to Charleroi-Central, then continue by train to Kiewit. The bus needs its own fare. Allow enough time for the bus, station transfer and a possible wait rather than reading the rail journey time as the whole airport transfer.

Travelers arriving by Eurostar or another international service can connect in Belgium. SNCB lists Brussels-Midi, Antwerpen-Centraal and Belgian border stations among the possible handoffs. The international fare and the free festival rail ticket are separate bookings. Check the final return connection before committing to a Sunday night abroad.

Kiewit station, Hasselt shuttle and night buses

Kiewit is the direct rail arrival. The official transport page places the station about 500 metres from the site. Follow event signs and staff rather than a route copied from an old map.

Hasselt station has a free shuttle to Kindsheid Jesu in Kiewit. The remaining walk is about 750 metres, or roughly 15 minutes. Published shuttle hours are Thursday and Friday from 09:00 to 05:00, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 05:00, and Monday from 08:00 to 15:00.

Free night buses are supported by 33 participating municipalities. This is not a general free bus to every Belgian address. Check the current De Lijn route planner for the stop, departure and eligibility. Save the route number and stop name before the event because a crowd can make a vague message such as "meet at the bus" useless.

If the accommodation is in Brussels, do not treat the Hasselt shuttle as the route home. It only reaches Hasselt station. Match it with a real onward train, the reserved Pukkelpop night train or a room near Hasselt.

Camping Chill, Camping Relax and day-ticket windows

Both official campsites open Thursday at 09:00 and close Monday at 12:00. Camping Chill is positioned as the busier campsite and includes the dedicated accessible camping area. Camping Relax is the quieter option. A label cannot guarantee the noise around one tent, so bring earplugs and choose the site based on the published facilities and route.

Day-ticket camping works in fixed windows:

Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are not allowed on the official campsites. Bring a tent that fits the pitch rules and a bag you can carry from the transport drop-off.

The campsites list showers, toilets, food, drinking-water points, a 24-hour shop and bar, lockers and phone charging. Bring the correct cable and adapter. A refundable recycling deposit applies when the waste is returned through the stated process and the wristband is scanned.

Several day tickets create an understandable camping question. The official FAQ tells holders of multiple day tickets to ask for the required extra wristband, while a recent public discussion shows that some buyers purchased duplicate camping products after unclear instructions. Do not assume that each festival day needs another camping purchase. Send the organizer the exact ticket combination and get a written answer before paying twice.

Entry rules, tokens and phone charging

Pukkelpop uses physical cardboard tokens for food and drinks. Token presale ended on July 31, and the organizer says tokens are not refundable or exchangeable. Keep them dry and separate from the phone. A flat battery should not remove the only way to buy food, but a lost token is still lost value.

The general conditions list drugs, glass, cans, liquids, laughing gas, camel bags, sharp objects, alcohol, animals, professional recording equipment and dangerous or fire-related items among the prohibited items for the main festival site. Campsite rules differ, so check both lists instead of applying the arena rule to a camping bag.

Use an ordinary small bag that can pass security quickly. Bring any medicine in the proper packaging and contact the organizer before travel if it requires an exception or refrigeration. Do not rely on a Reddit answer for the final decision at the gate.

Lockers and charging are useful, but neither should hold the only copy of the return plan. Carry a small power bank that meets the transport rules, save the booking reference, and agree on a staffed meeting point before the first split in the group. Accessibility requests close before the festival

The accessibility page asks visitors who need listed facilities to apply by August 13. Do not wait until arrival to ask for accessible parking, the less-crowded entrance or the dedicated camping area.

The current plan includes viewing platforms at Main Stage, Club, Marquee and Wave, adapted toilets and showers, assistance, and induction loops at Main Stage and Marquee. Accessible parking is limited and paid. One friend or carer may accompany the disabled visitor on a platform.

The dedicated area within Camping Chill allows the disabled visitor to camp with a small group, currently up to four people and three tents. The fee exemption applies only to the disabled visitor and one companion. Ask the accessibility team to confirm the rest of the group's camping products, the entrance route and any equipment power need before travel.

The 112 BE app works in Belgium. It can pass location information when calling the emergency services, but it does not replace festival medical and security staff for a problem already inside the site.

A realistic first-timer plan

Arrive before the first artist you care about, not merely before the published headline. Campers need time for wristband exchange, the walk, tent setup and finding water. Hotel visitors need the shuttle walk and security queue. One hour can disappear before anyone sees a stage.

Choose three fixed points for the day: one early set, one meal break and one final act. Add optional music around them. This leaves room for queues, rain, a stage at the other side of the site and a friend who needs the medical tent.

Solo visitors should use the official site and staffed points as anchors. Public group chats can help people meet, but do not share accommodation access codes, identity documents or a complete solo itinerary with strangers. Tell one trusted person the return plan and check in after reaching the campsite or hotel.

For a front-row attempt, arrive before the previous set and accept that leaving for water or a toilet may end the position. Do not force through a crowd. A good view from farther back is better than missing the set after a security or medical problem.
