Historical 2005 exterior of Singapore EXPO with its large multicoloured venue sign

Singapore FinTech Festival runs November 18-20, 2026, at Singapore EXPO. Its final SFF MeetUp matching window closes on November 6 at 3pm Singapore time. That is a meeting-programme deadline, not the end of festival registration: the organizer says direct meeting requests open from November 9.

If you are travelling to meet clients or partners, settle the pass and meeting arrangements before booking a tightly packed day. A complimentary exhibition pass is useful, but it does not include the same stages or scheduled meetings as a paid pass.

The festival overview places the main November 18-20 event at Singapore EXPO. The earlier Insights2040 meetings on November 16-17 are a separate, invite-only senior-level programme at Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Those are different venues, not two names for the same building.

November 6 closes the final matching round, not all networking

The SFF MeetUp page sets the final booking window at October 26-November 6, with results on November 9. The cutoff is 3pm SGT on November 6, equivalent to 7am UTC. Use the written date rather than a website countdown that may not load correctly.

MeetUp is included with Delegate, Startup and Executive passes, or available through the separate MeetUp Pass. A purchase does not guarantee twenty appointments. Matching requires interest from both people and a time both have left available.

The official MeetUp guide distinguishes two ways to arrange a conversation:

Before the final matching cutoffFrom November 9
Bookmark individual attendees and set your availabilitySend direct meeting requests on the platform
Mutual bookmarks can become scheduled meetingsThe other person must accept the request
Bookmarking a company or product does not book a personA request is not a confirmed appointment until accepted

Find the platform invitation in your registration email, complete the login verification and check your profile. If the invitation is missing, check spam, then contact [email protected]. Do not create a second paid registration just to solve an email problem.

Which festival pass fits your visit?

These are the organizer's listed pass options on November 4. Prices are in Singapore dollars; check the final tax-inclusive total and eligibility before payment.

Your purposePass and listed priceImportant limit
Browse exhibitors and three selected stagesTrade Visitor, complimentaryCatalyst, Policy and Ignite Stages; other stages and MeetUp need an upgrade
Prioritize scheduled one-to-one meetingsMeetUp, SGD380Exhibition and selected stages, not the main Festival or FutureMatters Stages
Attend the full conference and meetingsDelegate, SGD1,500Includes MeetUp and After Hours, not Insights2040 or the Executive Lounge
Attend as a qualifying young companyStartup, SGD650For startups incorporated within the last five years
Watch selected stages without travellingLivestream, SGD250Online access, not physical admission or every stage

Executive access is listed at SGD6,000 and includes the earlier Insights2040 programme. Do not pay for it merely because the calendar begins on November 16; first establish whether those meetings are part of your work trip.

Under GFTN's ticket terms, quoted prices exclude prevailing taxes unless stated otherwise, and registration needs full payment and confirmation. Complimentary applications are subject to organizer review. Passes are personal, and cancellation or non-attendance does not earn a refund. Confirm a colleague substitution with [email protected] rather than sharing a badge.

Build your day around confirmed meetings

Meetings take place in the Hall 4B and Hall 5A lounges. The detailed MeetUp guide lists 15-minute appointments with five minutes between them: 12:30pm-5:05pm on November 18-19, and 12:30pm-4:25pm on November 20. Your own schedule supplies the lounge and table.

Do not assume every keynote ends before every meeting. The guide specifically advises blocking the 12:30pm and 12:50pm slots if you want to stay for a Festival Stage session that runs to about 1pm. Make that choice in your availability settings before matching, rather than plan to leave a booked meeting waiting.

A workable day has one main session, a lunch break and a manageable set of appointments. Leave space to walk between halls, write notes and follow up. Twenty possible meetings is a programme limit, not a sensible target for everyone.

Badge collection is separate from hall admission

The current festival FAQ lists registration at the Apex Gallery and Hall 6, Level 1: 7am-5:30pm on November 18-19, and 8am-5:30pm on November 20. Bring the confirmation QR code and confirmation ID, plus personal identification for checks.

Published hall access also differs by pass. Trade Visitor and MeetUp holders enter from 10am to 6pm; premium-stage passes have access from 7:30am to 6pm. Collecting a badge at 7am does not give a Trade Visitor early hall access. Times remain subject to change.

SFF is for registered trade visitors and professionals aged 16 and over, not a children's exhibition. If your family is joining a wider holiday, plan their day separately with the Singapore with kids guide.

Flying out after the last day? Luggage storage at the registration areas is listed at SGD10 per piece, free for Speakers and Executive holders, subject to space. It opens at 7:30am, closes at 6pm and asks for collection by 6:15pm. Leave time to retrieve bags before heading to Changi.

Getting from Changi Airport or the city to Singapore EXPO

The festival venue guide gives 1 Expo Drive, Singapore 486150, with Expo MRT station CG1/DT35 nearest to Foyer Two and Hall 6. Singapore EXPO is in the east of the island; it is not the convention centre at Marina Bay Sands.

For a city hotel, compare the actual MRT journey with the taxi estimate, not just the straight-line distance. The venue's directions identify taxi stands I42 at Foyer One and I02 at Foyer Two, as well as private-hire pickup points at both foyers. Agree on the foyer when meeting a driver or colleague.

Changi Airport's train guidance connects the airport station directly with Terminals 2 and 3. Expo is one stop away, with the Downtown Line available there. Allow additional time for your actual arrival terminal, immigration, baggage and the walk into the event. A short train ride is not a promise that you can step off an international flight straight into a meeting.

Before travelling, read the Singapore arrival-card guide and check the current official entry requirements for your passport. Save your hotel address and a route backup, especially if you arrive late.

After Hours is at Clarke Quay, not at EXPO

SFF After Hours takes place on November 18, 7pm-10pm, at Fountain Square, CQ @ Clarke Quay. The organizer's networking page includes it with Executive, Delegate, Startup, Policy and Media passes. Do not assume a MeetUp or Trade Visitor pass includes the evening.

This requires a separate journey west from the exhibition venue. Leave room for travel and a meal rather than scheduling an EXPO meeting until the last minute and expecting to be at Clarke Quay at 7pm. Check the event's map for the stage and participating venues; a booking at a nearby bar is not automatically festival admission.

SFF app and mobile data for conference travel

Download the official SFF 2026 app through the organizer's MeetUp guide. Use it for your meeting schedule and reminders, and keep the venue floor plan available for booth locations. Save a copy of confirmed appointments, ticket details and your accommodation address so a failed login does not leave you searching an inbox at the entrance.

Use the SMRT journey planner linked by Changi for train timings. A map app helps with the last walk, while a messaging app lets your group agree on a named foyer instead of saying only "outside EXPO." Carry a charger or power bank; a full workday of schedules and messages can outlast a phone battery.

OpenSim's Singapore plans provide a separate prepaid allowance for those tasks. On November 4, the public catalog listed 1GB for seven days at USD1.76 and 3GB for 15 days at USD4.92, both with top-up support. The smaller plan can fit a short conference trip; the longer validity may suit an earlier arrival or extra holiday days. Check the selected package's activation terms and current total.

That can be useful when you want a defined data budget outside hotel Wi-Fi. If your home plan already includes enough Singapore roaming, keeping it may be simpler. OpenSim does not buy festival access, arrange meetings or guarantee reception in every hall. Use the travel data calculator, check phone compatibility and review installation timing before departure.

Sources and updates

SFF's MeetUp page and detailed guide provide the matching deadline, later direct-request option and meeting arrangements. Registration and GFTN's terms define pass access and conditions; the FAQ supplies badge and hall times. The venue, Changi and After Hours pages identify the separate travel locations. Update this guide after the November 6 matching cutoff, when November 9 direct requests open, for changed badge or access arrangements, and after the November 20 finish.
